LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE
“LAODICEA”
- 7th Age - Revelation 3:
14-22.
- Began around 1906 and lasted until.
- Star or Messenger was William Branham.
- The age is a very short age
- City of Laodicea – means “peoples rights” or justice of
the people.
- Named after Laodice, the wife of
Antiochus II.
- City marked by its economic prosperity
and social prominence. The city
was rich and science abounded.
- Because of their wealth they no longer
saw their need for God. Education
took the place of God.
- The pagan god worshipped there was Zeus,
one god worship.
- Laodicia was called a metropolis because
it was the county seat for 25 other cities. “Notice this showing that this age will be ruled by a one
world government”.
- A great church council was held in this
city in the fourth century, thus showing in this day an ecumenical move to
unite all church systems together.
- Frequent earthquakes finally caused its
complete abandonment. The sight is
now a heap of ruins that is called ESKI HISAR or “old castle”. This age will end in God shaking the
whole world to destruction. NOTE: Look at all the thing that characterized
the city of Laodicea and the actual age we are living.
The Messenger –

10-11.

Fathers – Malachi 4: 5-6

Jesus Christ.
- Will be mistaken for the Lord Jesus
Christ.
- Will be rejected by the church world.

- Will be a lover of the wilderness.
- Will hate worldly women.
- Will be a moody, nervous fellow.
The Salutation
- Rev 3: 14.
- Sayeth the Amen, the faithful and
true witness, the beginning of creation of God.
- Amen means “last” the day of grace is winding down. Jesus is the Amen
of God. This is the end time Revelation of Himself.
- Faithful and True Witness
- Faithful – stays the same, never changes
His mind about His Word.
- “True” not compared to “false” but
perfect realization in contrast to partial realization. We will be like Him in this final
age. We will be Him in this
age.
- Beginning of the Creation of God.
- Not meaning God created Jesus, and then
Jesus created everything else. NO!
John 1: 1-3 proves this wrong.
Jesus is very Creator God.
No less. No more.
- This is another creation – God cannot create God. The heavenly bridegroom created Himself
a Bride. Starting with the
creation of egg and sperm and placing in the womb of Mary, God began
creating and bringing forth like it should have been had there not been a
fall. II Corinthians 5:17, new
creature or creation.
- Spiritual Multiplication as in Genesis
1: 26-27.
- The old order was of man, like we know
it now, but this new order or creation is of God “Last Adam”.
- So truly Jesus, in the way He came, was
the beginning of the creation that God wanted along.
- Rev 3: 15-19 – NOTE – as we read
notice that the spirit doesn’t say one good thing about this church.
- Neither cold or hot, wishy –washy people.
- Lukewarm – sickening church.
- Will spew out of my mouth, mouth =
word. God will throw this age,
because of its lukewarm condition, out of or by the fully restored word.
- This age will get completely away from
the word of God.
- The church is no longer the “mouthpiece
of God”.
- Verse 17, thou sayest – they are
speaking as the mouthpiece of God, but God does not recognize it, increased
in goods – means, We have Spiritual riches. We have need of nothing, the church is
complacent. We have all that we
need, we are full.
