LAMB.AND.THE.DOVE_  OAKLAND.CA  MONDAY_  57-0325

E-23    Now, Abel saw it and sacrificed a lamb. It was a revelation. All down through the age it's been revelation, revelation; and tonight it's revelation, not an outward form, not a declaration of creeds, not a group of prayers, not a string of beads; but a direct revelation that God has revealed to you that Christ is your Passover Lamb, that He bore your sins, and you've accepted Him as the sin offering in your stead. "Upon this rock I'll build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." You see it? It's a revelation.

HAVE.FAITH.IN.GOD_  PITTSFIELD.MA  SATURDAY_  58-0510

E-15    Faith, why, it's the most common thing there is. You can't even get a drink of water without faith. You couldn't come to this meeting without faith. You cannot move your finger without faith. It's said in the Scripture that when they put the Blood on the lintel of the door, for the passover in Egypt, it was put on the hyssop. Do you know what hyssop is? Hyssop is common weed. You can just find it anywhere. And that's the way the Blood is to be applied to the heart's door, tonight, is by something common, faith.

We try to press it out, and make it something, that no one can take a hold of. It's so simple, that you go over the top of it, trying to find it. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen," said the writer of Hebrews the 11th chapter, 1st verse.

WHO.IS.THIS_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  59-0510E

E-22    And the preachers of that day had to give an account for this stir, because it was at the feast of the Passover. And they screamed out, "Who is This?" When the air charged, and the coming of the Lord Jesus to Jerusalem had charged the air with expectations, it looks like that the teachers ought to know what was going to take place. It looked like that the high priest would've knowed it. It looked like that all of the other priests would've known it.

And it isn't changed any today, because the Holy Spirit is forerunning the coming of the Lord Jesus. And as the Holy Spirit begins to stretch out across the earth, revival fires are broken out everywhere, great signs and wonders has been done, healings has took place, prophesies has went forth. All the gathering of the apostolic blessings has come back to the church again. So as it was then, so is it now. The spirit of the unbeliever still cries out, "Who is this?"

TURNING.NORTHWARD_  PHOENIX.AZ  SUNDAY_  61-0129

E-5    Grace had provided them a great thing. Grace had provided them a Passover lamb. Grace had provided them a prophet. And grace had provided them an Angel. The Passover lamb was for their sins. Their prophet was their instructor. The Angel was their guide. Grace had provided everything for them. But in spite of all of that, they wanted a law.

And this grace had provided them an escape out of Egypt before they had any law. Then grace had provided them one of the greatest revivals that they'd ever had. In this revival they had seen great powers of God. In this revival they had seen sunshine while the rest of the world was in darkness. In this revival they'd seen the mighty hand of God deliver the innocent people, bringing them from bondage in deliverance. And in this revival, after they'd crossed over the Red Sea, they found all their enemies dead in the Red Sea behind them. Why would they want to add anything to that?

LETTING.OFF.THE.PRESSURE_  GREEN.LAKE.WI  FRIDAY_  62-0518

E-51    Now, there is a refuge in time of death. You believe that? Let's look down in Egypt the night of the Passover. There it was down in Egypt, to these slaves. And there was a time come when God got sick and tired of the way people were treating His people. And so what did He do? He required a--an atonement to protect His people. He always makes a way to protect His people, if the people will just receive it.

And now let's just take a case down in Egypt. It's nighttime, and I notice. And here comes... The night comes. There never was a night like it since they'd been down there. Oh, it was a horrible night. Everything was black and dark. The moon didn't shine. The stars didn't come out. Oh, what a horrible night. Everything was weary.

JEHOVAH.JIREH.PART.3_  GRASS.VALLEY.CA  JJ 107-140  SATURDAY_  62-0707

89    Now, the Jew, the Yom Kippur, when they take the communion, or the Passover, anyone knows that's a Jew, and knows that under the lid is a broken piece of kosher. And there's not a Jew that I know of, that I ever talked to, can explain why that broken piece of kosher. Why, here it is in the confirmation of the covenant, the broken body of Christ, when He broke God from man; He was both God and man. And when He took the Spirit up... And Jesus said, listen, "At that day you will know that I am in the Father, the Father in Me; I in you, and you in Me." It's God in His people, the same God.

He represented there, where we talked on last night. God came down, capital L-o-r-d, Jehovah-jireh, Jehovah-Rapha, Jehovah-Manasseh, Elohim, the All-sufficient One, the Strong One, the Breasted-One, all of His titles and everything, manifested in a human body that eat human food, and vanished out of their sight: God.

JEHOVAH.JIREH.PART.3_  GRASS.VALLEY.CA  JJ 107-140  SATURDAY_  62-0707

91    And Jesus, when He come, He said, "As it was in that day, so will it be." God...

That's the broken kosher underneath the cover, the broken piece; not what they take, but What's broke. Why don't they understand it?

The same way when Jesus picked up the--the parchments and begin to read. He read part of the verse, and left it off, the rest of it, because it was just for Him for that day. The rest of the verse pertained to His second coming.

That's the reason the Jews don't understand that, because they had to be blinded. They didn't see their Messiah, and yet He was there. And each time they take their--their Passover, there's the broken kosher again, and not knowing it.

I asked a rabbi. He said, "We're taught to do that."

I said, "Why do you do it?"

He said, "I don't know. Nobody else knows."

See, a woman veils her face, yet she don't realize. Instead of coming in and let her husband be her head, she's head of the husband. That's perversion. Now, that's the American attitude.

But that's it, broken kosher. Then again we notice, again I want you to note, you--in back-grounding now before we get down to the real part that we want to speak on tonight.

DESPERATION_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-1  SUNDAY_  63-0901E

47    Now, we notice tonight that we're taking the symbols of the Passover. And the Passover was taking in emergency in times of desperation. You notice in--in Exodus the 12th chapter and the 11th verse of the 12th chapter I believe it is, it says, "Eat this Passover with the shoes on your feet, with your loins girded up, and with the staff in your hand." See, you're eating it in desperation.

TOKEN.THE_  SHREVEPORT.LA  V-17 N-6  THURSDAY_  63-1128E

28    Now, I want you to notice tonight, what we're going to speak on is: "The Token," A token.

Now, now, the first, I want you to notice what a--what the order of this is, the order of the passover. The... It must be a male sheep, and it must be tested for fourteen days.

What a perfect type it is of Christ, the Antetype, a Male, a Lamb, and He was tested for three and a half years of His ministry, through critics and everything, the clergy of that day, but was proved to hold fast to the Father's Word. Even in the presence of Satan, He said, "It is written. It is written." Constantly He defeated the enemy on the Word, a perfect example for us today: always defeat the enemy with the Word of God that's written for the day.

And He said to them, "Search the Scriptures, for in Them you think you have Eternal Life, and They are They that testify of Me." In other words, "If I don't do what the Scripture says is supposed to be done in this day, then I'm an unbeliever. But then who can accuse Me of sin?" Sin is unbelief. He manifested every promise that God made for that day. He fulfilled it. He met the day because He was the Messiah, and that was the day of the Messiah.

TOKEN.THE_  SHREVEPORT.LA  V-17 N-6  THURSDAY_  63-1128E

73    Now, remember, a Jew could've come up and said, "I'll take you men aside. I believe that to be the truth. I believe Moses, the prophet. I believe that Pillar of Fire that's guiding him. I believe that's Jehovah," witness all of it, believe all the Word, all the message, but yet say, "Now, I'm just as well off as you, because I am a circumcised Jew." If he didn't have that blood in the night of the passover, he died just the same.

And today, every church, every individual, that isn't and cannot display that Token of the Holy Ghost is spiritually dying and will die. No matter how much you believe in the death, burial, and resurrection; no matter how much you can repeat the Apostles' Creed, repeat it, or whatever you might do; no matter how well you're educated, and what a theological experience you've had; you might have doctor's degrees, and Bachelor of Art, and whatevermore, a DD, LD, Doctor of Latin, or whatever you might be, or literature, but that won't do it. There must be the Token displayed.

HARVEST.TIME_  PHOENIX.AZ  V-18 N-6  SATURDAY_  64-1212

55    I want to back up just a little bit, to the 4th verse again.

But he answered and said unto him, It is written,

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Now, for a subject, I would like to take that: "every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Now, hold that in thought while we speak.

Jesus once said in Saint John 6:48, I believe that's right, as I jotted it down this morning, "I am the Bread of Life." This was at the feast of the Passover, when the Jews were--were eating their kosher in commemoration of the manna that fell in the wilderness, and--and they were drinking from a fountain there representing the Rock that was in the wilderness, and they were having a great time. And Jesus cried right out in the midst; He said, "I am the Bread of Life. Your fathers eat manna in the wilderness for the space of forty years, and they're every one, dead. But I'm that Bread that come from God out of heaven. If a man eat thereof, he'll not die." And for the rock, He said, "I am that Rock that was in the wilderness. I am that Rock that your fathers drank from."

"How?" They said, "You're a man not more than fifty years old, and say that you seen Abraham? Now, we know that thou has a devil and are mad."

And Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I AM." See? "I AM" was the Pillar of Fire that was in the bush that talked to Moses. And if you'd fix that out in its nouns and pronouns, not "I was, I will be." "I AM" is present tense all the time. Ahh...
