- Predestination (The Mystery) - Samuel Dale
REVELATION 10:7
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
HEBREWS 7:4-10
4 Now consider how great this man [was], unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
HEBREWS 7:5
5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
HEBREWS 7:6
6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
HEBREWS 7:7
7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
HEBREWS 7:8
8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he [receiveth them], of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
HEBREWS 7:9
9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
HEBREWS 7:10
10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
HEBREWS.CHAPTER.7.PT.1_ JEFF.IN HEB SUNDAY_ 57-0915E
309-120 Now, watch this if you want to see something.
But he whose descent is not continued for... from them receiveth tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promise.
Abraham had the promise, and this Man blessed Abraham who had the promise. Who was this? The sons of Levi paid tithes to their brethren, or their brethren paid tithes to them. They had a commandment of the Lord to take a tenth of what their brothers made, for their living, because they were the priesthood. Now, that lets out the Melchisedec priesthood, as you talk about, right there. That's right. But this Man... Even the one who had the promise, the greatest man on earth, Abraham, met this Man and paid tithes to Him; He had to be greater.
HEBREWS.CHAPTER.7.PT.1_ JEFF.IN HEB SUNDAY_ 57-0915E
310-124 Now.
And as I may so say, Levi also, who received tithe, payed tithes in Abraham.
Now, oh, here's something.
For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
What? Levi... Abraham was Levi's great-great-grandpa. And the Bible said here, that Levi paid tithes when he was in the loins of Abraham. Four generations before he ever come to earth, he was paying tithes to Melchisedec. And blessed be the Name of the Lord.
Then you that can't believe in predestination before ordination, and here four generations before Levi would ever come out of the loins of Abraham, was paying tithes to Melchisedec. Wish we had time to run this through the Scripture.

11-4 Now, how did it start? (We'll get straight to it just as quick as we can, so I won't keep you all night.) Now, there's got to be a beginning of all things. I want to ask you something. Now, this may be... You just tuck this over in your vest pocket. You don't have to put this over with the regular dish. But listen to this. If you are an eternal creature, then you never had a beginning or never can have an end. For "eternal" comes from the Word which has no beginning or no end. Don't you remember, I said this morning that how that Melchisedec, when He met Abraham coming from the slaughter of the kings, and the Bible said in Hebrews 7 that--that Levi paid tithes to Melchisedec when he was in the loins of his father Abraham. Abraham begot Isaac; Isaac begot Jacob; Jacob begot Levi. That was father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. And while Levi was in the loins of his great-grandfather, the Bible gives him credit for paying tithes to Melchisedec. Talk about eternal... My, my.
SERPENT'S.SEED_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-4 SUNDAY_ 58-0928E
11-5 He never said he done it in the shadow, he potentially done it, the Bible said he paid tithes. Amen. Then if we come through the right seed, when Paul preached the Gospel I was there and you were there. We're going to get into that just in a minute, plumb up to our ears. Notice, that's what the Scriptures claims to us. It even went way back.
Just think, Levi; then Jacob, his father; then Isaac, his father; then Abraham, his father, his great-grandfather. When Levi was in the loins of his great-grandfather, he paid tithes to Melchisedec.
FAITHFUL.ABRAHAM_ LA.CA WEDNESDAY_ 59-0415E
E-57 Watch when he come back. They had a great big jubilee, homecoming time. And there was all the kings around thanking Abraham, and then they met another King, Melchisedec. He was the King of Salem which was Jerusalem: the King of peace, the King of righteousness.
Who was this great King? I want to ask you something. Who was this great King? He did not have any father. He never had a mother. He never had a beginning of days or ending of life. Who was that King that met Abraham coming home from the slaughter of the kings?
And to you people that don't believe in tithe paying, look at this. The Levitical priesthood paid tithes. And the Bible said that Levi paid tithes when he was in the loins of Abraham, and that was his great, great grandfather. And when Levi was in the loins of Abraham, when Abraham paid tithes to Melchisedec, the Bible reckoned Levi paying tithes. How ought you people to live. If your sins are visited to the children, what about your blessings?
GOD'S.POWER.TO.TRANSFORM_ PHOENIX.AZ V-16 N-5 SATURDAY_ 65-0911
225 Don't stumble at that word, "predestination." I know you do. But, listen, It's not my word. It's one of God's Words. You want to read it, read Ephesians 1:5, which, "He has predestinated us to the adoptions of sons through Jesus Christ." See?
Just let me just break it just a minute, in a--just a minute to break this out of your mind. Look. Just as you were in your father at the beginning, a germ seed... Did you know that, every one of you? You were in your great-great-great-grandfather also, did you know that?
Read the Book of Hebrews, where that we find that Levi paid tithes when he was in the loins of Abraham, four generations behind him. When Abraham paid tithes to Melchisedec, it was accounted to his great-great-grandson down below him, and he was then in the loins of Abraham. There you are. See?
DO.YOU.NOW.BELIEVE?_ BATTLE.CREEK.MI SUNDAY_ 52-0817
E-48 Now, that man can't help because he doesn't dream. Neither can you help because you do dream. Now, look. God made you that way. Is that right? Now, what if I told you, "Dream me a dream." Could you do it? No, sir. Yet, you dream dreams. But I say, "Dream me a dream." You can't do it. The one who puts a dream upon you, has to do it. Is that right? How many understands that far, what I'm talking about? Now, let... That's right.
Now, look. Now, you begin to be germitized, as your body, in your great-grandfather, the germ begin to begin to become active. Did you know that? Why here, Levi, paid tithes when he was in the loins of Abraham, his grandfather. Is that right? See? Now, if you germitized in your great-grandfather, come out through your grandfather, down to your father, then in, and that's how you become germitized for your body.
But your spirit, your soul was made up before the foundation of the world, when God made man in His image. Now, a person that cannot dream, his subconscious is there, that's God's way of doing it. The man that does dream, his subconscious is here, he can't help it. But a seer, that's borned a seer, His subconscious is neither back there, nor here. It's right here with him. You don't go asleep. You're wide awake and see it. Now, who understands what I mean? See? It's not laying on of hands. It's not in imparting spiritual gift, as the error is going across the country today. That's wrong. If you believe me to be a prophet sent from God, hear my word: That's an error, no such a thing. Gifts and callings are without repentance. God ordains them; God has set in the Church. See? All right.

25 God calls. No man can come to God except God called him. Jesus said, "No man can come to Me except My Father calls him--draws him." Is that right? So it's God in all. Maybe tomorrow afternoon we'll get a little bit more on that, 'cause I want to get this thing of disease to you so that you'll see that...
There was a time when we become germitized in our great-grandfather. You know that. Doctor knows that. Well, you do too, you Bible readers. You know the germ of life started in your great-grandfather to becoming a germ, and come out through your grandfather, and then into your father, then to your mother and where you are now. That's right. Scripture even teaches that. Here's the Scripture for you if you want. I believe it said that Levi paid tithes when he was in the loins of Abraham, which was his great-grandfather. Is that right? So, see, the germ become back there.
DEMONOLOGY.1.PHYSICAL_ CONNERSVILLE.IN DE 21-40 MONDAY_ 53-0608A
27 But your souls were made up before the foundation of the world when God created man in His Own image: spirit of man; not a man in His Own image, but man in His Own image. See? And then He made them male and female before He ever had a man in the dust of the earth. Wish we had a chance this afternoon to take our time and go back into that, just see how God...
Now, it's between the line, but when you see, it comes right up with the line. See? How that God back in the beginning, what He did there, and how He moved down into the earth and how that He made man in His image, and then God turned around and was made in the image of man to redeem man.
GOD.PERFECTING.HIS.CHURCH_ BINGHAMTON.NY SATURDAY_ 54-1204
E-14 And how that we'd taken that God manifested Himself. And how that Jesus was not neither Jew nor Gentile. The Blood that was in the Lord Jesus Christ was deity's Blood itself, a creative Blood. See, the blood cell... How that God... The life lays in the blood.
The Bible said, "The flesh thereof, you may eat it. But the blood thereof (which is the life) pour it upon the ground. Don't eat the blood." 'Cause in the blood lays the life. And the life is wrapped up in the blood cell. And the blood cell comes from the male sex, the man. The...
And remember, that Levi paid tithes when he was in the loins of his grandfather, which was Abraham. When he was in the loins, not of Sarah, but of Abraham. The life begin in there, through his--it was his grandfather.
GIFTS_ BROOKLYN.NY FRIDAY_ 56-1207
E-15 Now, we're going to speak about gifts tonight and that's the reason I took tonight and to--for this purpose, that we could kindy explain and take my time, watching the clock and take my time, and explain to you what I think gifts are.
Now, the first place, the Bible said that "Gifts and callings are without repentance." It's something that God by sovereign grace put into the church. See? God does that Himself. It's a work and a act of God, and by foreknowledge He predestinates these things to happen.
Now, as I say, "God is not willing that anyone should perish." But in the very beginning God knew who would be saved and who would perish. Foreknowledge let Him know that if He's the infinite God. Why, He--He certainly cannot... He--He's not willing that any should perish, but He knew from the beginning. He knew every fly, every flea, every person that would ever be on the earth, He knew them before the foundation of the world, 'cause He's infinite.
PROVING.HIS.WORD_ JEFF.IN V-9 N-6 SUNDAY_ 64-0816
122 Now, I want you to notice; He does it that way in every age. He does it every time by the same method. He has to take believers. And then, in order to have believers to meet that Word, He's got to predestinate it to that age. You see it? He's got to predestinate this thing to be there to meet the challenge of the age. Did it get you? Did you feel it? Did you see it? Do you understand it? That's what's happening today. He predestinated it to this by His foreknowledge. When He predestinated in Malachi 4, it's got to happen. When He come over and predestinates anything to happen in His Word, He had to prove His Word to be so. When He predestinates anything to happen and says it will happen, He knows that seed will be there just at that time. He predestinated a Bride; She's going to be there. Going to be a rapture, She's going to be there. He predestinates it by His foreknowledge. See, there's nothing going to stop it.
HARVEST.TIME_ PHOENIX.AZ V-18 N-6 SATURDAY_ 64-1212
122 Now, we're just looking for what day we're living in, the harvest time.
Then God, after Adam had fell (tried by the Word, and fell), God continued in His creation to try to find a man who would live every Word. Now, look. He tried to find that, that is, live the Word for his age. Now, you see, God scattered His Word out, 'cause He could...
He's--He's infinite, and He's--He's omnipresent, omniscient, therefore He knows all things. He can't be present everywhere. By being omniscient, knowing all things, then He can be present everywhere. Because that's the way He predestinates us by foreknowledge, not because He desired that this person should be saved and this one lost. But He knew who would be lost and who would be saved. See? Therefore, by His foreknowledge He can predestinate. And He makes everything work to His glory. That's what His attributes are doing, displaying to His glory. One vessel of honor and one of dishonor, but it's God that maketh it. "Not him that willeth or him that runneth, but God that showeth mercy." See?
