II TIMOTHY 1:9

9    Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

II TIMOTHY 1:10

10    But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

PHILIPPIANS 3:21

21    Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

I JOHN 3:2

2    Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

FUTURE.HOME_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-5  SUNDAY_  64-0802

49-1    Look, them hands designed this for His Beloved and--Bride: designed in tenderly love for His Bride. Remember that the Holy Ghost descended on Jesus, which Jesus was a part of the earth. Why? The germ of God, the Life of God was designed in the womb of a woman (That right?), which was the earth. All right. And then the Life of God came in, so He was the beginning of the creation of God. See? And then that Blood of God, that was there by that germ, when it was shed at Calvary, dropped back upon the earth. What for? To redeem the earth. Now, it's been justified; it's been sanctified, called and claimed; and now it's to receive its baptism of fire, and be cleansed for Jesus and His Bride. And you are these other parts that's drawed out of this earth--the earth. You are part of the earth, your body. Your soul is part of God, a attribute of God, displayed here on earth in a body. The body's to be redeemed. Now the soul's redeemed, because it was in sin. So God come down by process of justification, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost, and redeemed your soul. And you, being part of the earth, it's redeemed by it. You're in the process now, it's growing on.

GOD.OF.THIS.EVIL.AGE_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-9  SUNDAY_  65-0801M

187    Dear God, laying before me is handkerchiefs. People are sick, and I'm laying my hands upon them, that You'll heal them. And I trust, Lord, tonight that there'll be a great service, that the power of God will be here.

Great signs and wonders as we heard the results from these last couple meetings, how tremendous, see what happened. I pray, dear God, that You'll give us a double portion tonight. I pray it with a sincere heart, Lord, because it's my love for You and Your Word and for these people. Grant it, dear God.

And if out across the land or even in here now, that there's some that's sick and afflicted, and has to be gone for tonight, won't be here, or be out there in the churches or places where they're met, I pray, You heal them. Now, Lord, but for the greatest of all healing, if You heal their physical body from cancer, TB, pneumonia, something, they'll get sick again, no doubt, if they live very long, for their body's still under sin, the curse. But let them get the real Divine healing, the healing of the soul, which makes a new creature, passes from death unto Life, and then waiting in this old tabernacle for the redemption of the body after the soul had been redeemed. Grant it, Lord.

LIFE_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  57-0602

E-23    Then that theophany was made flesh in the Person Christ Jesus. And then all the fullness of the Trinity dwelt in Him, both Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, all in that. And that's the very way we go, plumb back to the original beginning of God. There we are borned again not of flesh, borned again not of blood, but borned again by the Spirit. And in that eternal Spirit of love and honesty comes down to make Its place in us.

And then when we die from this life, we go into the body which... If this earthly tabernacle is dissolved, we have a theophany to go into, a body celestial.

Then at the coming of the Lord Jesus, this body is picked from the earth again and made in a glorified state to live in His Presence forever. Then all the perversion, all the things that was in--in the perversion all goes out of existence. Flesh goes to its punishment. Hell opens up her mouth and swallows in all the evil and the perversion. And God and His beloved Church, His Bride, takes their stand for the eternities to roll on. That's the great hope of the Christian Church.

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS_  JEFF.IN  COD  SUNDAY_  64-0830M

1113-Q-362    362. Please explain the mystery of the translation of the Bride.

Just a change (See?), our bodies now... Let's say our. You know what I mean when I say that? I don't mean to be sacrilegious. I don't mean to say ours; I don't mean to say this church; I mean to say every believer.

Abraham, He was looking for a promised son that was promised him. Is that right? And the church is looking for a promised Son. The Bride (Is that right?), the Bride is looking for the promised Son.

Before the promised son could come to Sarah and Abraham, their bodies had to be changed. Is that right?

She was too old to have a baby. She had no milk veins in her breast; her breast was dried up. Her womb wasn't fertile; she was sterile. She could not have the baby; her heart was too old to stand labor. So what happened? God changed her back to a young woman. And He did Abraham the same thing, 'cause He said his body was as good as dead. See? And He had to change their body in order to receive the promised son.

And we cannot receive the promised Son that's promised us today in these bodies that we live in; these bodies are sin.

1114-247    This first conscience controls this body with see, taste, feel, smell, and hear, and it's just got us all scrupled up; we reason and everything else. But that new body, that comes from this borned again (not this first conscience, it'll pass away)... It's that inside something that lives. Everybody understand it say, "Amen." [Congregation replies, "Amen."--Ed.]

It's not this outside see, taste, feel, smell, and hear. It isn't. It's subject to death and will die, but the inside part of you, down in here, inside, that is the person that cannot die. See? And that's the person that the new life starts from, from this new birth; and it builds another person in the image of this person you are, around that life. You get it?

1114-249    So potentially it's in here, and what is it? The Word promised before the foundation of the world. And around there, this only reflects the negative; that will reflect the positive, the Word. See? And the same thing is--or the translation of the Bride will be the same thing. The Word that's in you, the body will materialize around that Word, and the same thing did by Sarah.

Before... When that old body that she had, that first body, it had to be changed in order to produce a son. You get it? That body could not do it. This body cannot do it, so it'll have to be changed the same way to receive the Son.

WHO.IS.THIS.MELCHISEDEC_  JEFF.IN  V-5 N-10  SUNDAY_  65-0221E

70    Before the foundation of the world his Name's put on the Lamb's Book of Life. Then from that He become the Word, the theophany, that could appear, disappear; and then He become flesh and returned back again, resurrected that same body in a glorified condition. But you bypassed the theophany and become flesh-man to be tempted by sin. And then "if this earthly tabernacle is dissolved, we have one already waiting." We have not yet the bodies. But look, when this body receives the Spirit of God, the Immortal Life inside of you, it throws this body in subjection to God. Hallelujah.

"He that's born of God doth not commit sin; he cannot sin." Romans 8:1. "There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus; they walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." There you are. See, that throws your body subject. You don't have to say, "Oh, if I could just quit drinking, if I could just..." Just get in Christ; it's all gone. See, see? Because your body is subject to the Spirit, it's no more subject to the things of the world; they're dead. They are dead; your sins are buried in baptism; and you are a new creation in Christ. And your body becoming subject to the Spirit, try to live a right kind of life...

FAITH_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  61-0813

E-2    Now, when we receive Christ into our hearts, there's all that we have need of. There's Eternal Life. Now, Christ could not come back until three days was fulfilled, because His Spirit was behind a screen, like a bar, like this, that He could not cross over that bar, because it was a spoken Word of God that He was to lay in the grave for three days and three nights.

Now, He could not come back until that three days and nights was up. Then when three days and nights was up, His Spirit was loosed; It went directly to His Soul, and His Soul came back, and picked up the body, and fulfilled what He said: "I have power to lay my Life down; I have power to take it up again. I have power."

E-3    Now, each one of you have power the same way, because you are sons and daughters of God. And the very Spirit that's in you this morning, the Holy Spirit that's in you this morning, that same Holy Spirit will raise you up. So you have power to raise yourself back up.

When you die, your soul will go into to--the--under the altar of God, not in... right in the presence of God. Now, your spirit will go to God, but you cannot come back. You remember in the Bible it said the spirit--the souls under the altar crying, "Lord, how long, how long?" They could not return until the Scripture's fulfilled. And like Christ could not return till the Scripture's fulfilled.

Then after the--all has been done, all the suffering's over, and the brethren has suffered the same things, where we've suffered like they suffered and so forth... Then on that day you'll know exactly where you're buried. Your spirit will be turned loose from God and will come to the soul.

E-4    Now, the soul is that part of you who knows and understands, your intelligence. You remember the vision I had not long ago, or the little translation and went into that place and saw those people? Now, your spirit will come back to that body, and that--that kind of a body, the soul, which is a body that does not have to eat and so forth. "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting," a celestial body. And with that spirit, and that soul, and celestial body, you'll raise up again this natural body for that great millennium. See?

You have the power in you now to do that. Now, but that power that you have in you now could make a new world. God doesn't have little weak spots and big heavy spots that's powerful. The least little touch of God is omnipotent. See? The least little touch of God... So you know...

So I'm trying to get you in the faith now.

MANIFESTED.SONS.OF.GOD_  JEFF.IN  AD.2  WEDNESDAY_  60-0518

71    "For I say this unto you," Fir... II Thessalonians, the 5th chapter, or I Thessalonians 5th chapter, one or the other, "I say to you; I would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those that are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe Christ died and rose again the third day, even so those that sleep in Christ will God bring with Him. For we say this unto you by the commandments of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent or hinder (the best word) hinder those which are asleep. For the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first." These celestial bodies come down and put on earthly glorified bodies. "And we which are alive and remain shall be changed in a moment in a twinkling of an eye, and shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air."

WHO.IS.THIS.MELCHISEDEC_  JEFF.IN  V-5 N-10  SUNDAY_  65-0221E

109    Notice again, Melchisedec went to meet Abraham before He got back home. What a beautiful type here we have: Melchisedec meeting Abraham before he got back home after the battle. We meet Jesus in the air before we get home. That's right. II Thessalonians tells us that, for we meet Him in the air. A beautiful type of Rebecca meeting Isaac in the field in the cool of the day. We meet Him in the air; II Thessalonians tells us so: "For we which are alive and remain shall not prevent (or hinder) those which are asleep; for the trumpet of God shall sound; the dead in Christ shall rise first; we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air." Perfect, all these types...

Therefore the theophany, if you have died and entered into that theophany, what happens? The theophany comes to the earth to pick up the redeemed body. And if you're here in the air, you take the body to meet the theophany (There you are.), and caught up and go to meet the Lord in the air.

Who is this Melchisedec but God?

HEAR.HIS.VOICE_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  58-1005M

E-12    There's three stages of everything. There's a stage of the mortal body, the immortal body, and then the glorified body. See? Just like, other things, like Father, Son, and Holy Spirit goes in one channel, and the three makes the one. Justification, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost in a channel makes the one. And--and soul, body, and spirit makes the one. And it travels in three's, and three's are one.

And take a--a three cornered piece of glass and lay it in the sun, it'll reflect the colors. Yet seven colors will come down to one. And you take red, and look through red at red, how many knows what color it'll be? White. Uh-huh. Isn't that strange that red through red looks white?

Red is the sign of redemption. And when you... God looks at our red sins through the red blood of His precious Son; they're white. See? So... But He has to look through the Blood. If it doesn't, they are sinful. So we have to be under the Blood.

E-13    And when the soul leaves the body, it takes its journey into a place of rest in a body that's in the form and shape of this body, but it isn't this type of a body.

You'll meet your loved ones; you couldn't shake their hands. You could talk to them; you could look at them. They look just like they do here. 'Cause when Peter, and John, and James saw Moses and Elijah, they recognized them on Mount Transfiguration.

But it's a body. But then when that body, a kind of a celestial body, when it returns back to the earth, it picks up the--the substance that it once lived in and then it becomes a glorified body. And that body is the one that we'll see the Lord Jesus in His resurrected body.

WHAT.IT.TAKES.TO.OVERCOME.ALL.UNBELIEF_  YAKIMA.WA  FRIDAY_  60-0729

E-9    Now, many times, people say, "Brother Branham, you feature Divine healing." No, that is wrong. I feature Jesus Christ. See? Divine healing is a minor, and you can never major with a minor. And Christ is our main subject, then we believe that Christ, Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, and rose again the third day, according to the Scripture, and now sets at the right hand of the majesty of God, being a High Priest, to make intercessions upon our professions.

We--we're waiting, expecting Him to leave glory someday to return to the earth, to resurrect the dead and to translate those that are living into a glorified body to be raptured in the sky, to live with Him for the space of three and a half years, during the time of the tribulation period, and to return back to a purified earth to live a thousand years here on earth with His Church, and forever be with Him, when He sets on the throne of David. Now, we're looking--looking for that great time.
