141 It'll be a secret coming; no one will know
when it's going to happen. We're commanded to be ready and watching. We don't
know what hour. But whatever it is, we'll not prevent any of these back in
here; for just as soon as Jesus appears, the whole watch rises. Dead or alive, doesn't matter.
We don't--we don't meet Him first; we meet one another first. The
Bible said, Ephesians 5th chapter, It said, "For
we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord (down here) shall not
prevent or hinder those which are asleep." Them
precious ones that sealed their blood--sealed their testimony with their blood.
"Not
prevent (or hinder) those that are asleep, for the trumpet will sound."
Something'll take place, "the Gospel something will sound," the
announcing of His coming. "And the dead in Christ shall rise
first. And we which are alive and remain shall be changed." Standing, and
feel a change come on, the gray hair go out, the wrinkles fall away, be changed
in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. And we shall meet our loved ones first:
"There's mama, papa; there's my buddy. Oh, hallelujah, we're ready."
And then, together with them that were dead," says the Scripture,
"we'll be caught up in the air to meet the Lord." The order of the
coming...

believeth on Me, though he were dead, yet shall he
live. Whosoever liveth and believeth on Me shall never die. He that eats My
flesh and drinks My Blood has Everlasting Life, and I'll raise him up at the
last day."
No matter if he falls asleep in the first watch, second, third,
fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh, wherever he falls asleep... What'll happen? The trumpet
of God shall sound, that last trump will blast forth the same time that the
last angel's giving his message and the last Seal is opened, that last trumpet
will sound, and the Redeemer comes forth to take His redeemed possessions: His
church, blood-washed.

E-60 Why, it would make us go to shouting. Think
of it. And people tell me they got faith and say they can't believe in Divine healing? Friends, if you don't believe in Divine
healings, you're lost. That's right. How you going to, if you can't have faith
enough for God to patch up this body to glorify Him in, how much more
you going to have faith to believe that God will take this old mortal and make
immortality out of it to take it up. That's a direct Divine healing. Oh, my, there's going to be some awful
disappointments at the day of judgment, at the
resurrection. That's right.

Name of our Lord, please get me right now. What am I trying to say to you? That God Who came out in the old days, and led the Church
of God out of the--Egypt, the bondage into freedom, has come down again in the
same manner to lead His Church spiritual out of bondage of sin first, by the
Holy Spirit, sickness next, and the third step is to go into glory: take this
mortal and make it immortality, the transfiguration of the human bodies, to
transform them into the perfect image of the Son of God.
Please, believe with all your heart. I can't make no one believe. I--I can only... I can only speak what I--my
convictions is to be truth. And if I speak the truth, surely God will confirm
the truth and will heal the sick and the needy.

all that You have done for us. We love You with true love in our hearts. And now, I'm
thinking of the great morning of the resurrection after He went from mortal to
immortality. He rose up from the grave. His poor little old disciples scattered
about like sheep without a shepherd... Standing by the tomb, stood His dear
mother, weeping. Daylight was breaking; doves was
flying around, cooing. He said, "Mary." She recognized Him.
And Father, You raised a resurrected Lord among us tonight. May
the signs and wonders that You promised be committed
tonight. And please, dear Father, hide Thy poor humble servant away just now.
And if there be someone here just a little critical, as I feel that there is, I
pray You forgive that person, Lord. May something be
done that'll cause them to surrender to Thee just now, in the Name of Thy Son
Jesus Christ. Amen.

down through that aisle. And just then out come a great, big magnet, and went
down. And it was hanging about that high over those shavings. And they just
jumped right up against the shavings, and on they went, over into the cupola
where they was demagnetized, and they was dropped off into the cupola again to
be melted and made over. He said, "You see how we do it?"
I said, "Praise the Lord."
He said, "Say, what's the matter with you, brother?"
I said, "Something happened."
He said, "It must."
I said, "It did." I said, "I'm thinking today, as I
stand here, of a great magnet yonder in the heavens." That's right. Oh,
my. I said, "What makes some of them shavings go and the others
didn't?"
He said, "Some of them are aluminum. They're not
magnetized."
I said, "Hallelujah." I said, "What's the matter
with that piece of iron didn't go?"
He said, "You notice, it's bolted down."
I said, "Hallelujah."
He said, "What's the matter with you?"
I said, "Just those who are magnetized by His birth and power
of His resurrection, will go to meet Him in the air. And some of
these days be magnetized as His witnesses of the power of the resurrection,
when these old, mortal bodies will be taken into the cupola of God's Word and
molded from mortal to immortality, then we'll have a body like His own glorious
body and shall see Him as He is. Why? As a witness magnetized
with the resurrection. When Jesus Christ, the resurrected Son of God
puts resurrection Life in a man, he's a witness of the resurrection. Shall we pray.

E-17 So, God is just getting ready to do
something here, in our text. He's fixing to declare to a world a picture that I
think that the whole world ought to know. And God, before He does anything, He
always bears witness of what He does, puts it down and makes a memorial, or a
witness of what He is going to do.
And we find Him here, taking Peter, James, and John, taking them
aside and going up into a high mountain, apart.
Now, it is written in the Old Testament that three is a
confirmation. And God is trying to do something here, or going to do something,
rather; and when He does, He wants it confirmed. God doesn't do things just at
leisure or just haphazardly. He means it for a purpose. The Bible wasn't put
here just for man to just look at it, argue, and fuss about. The Bible was
put here for correction. It's a life that's to be led. And it's a road map from
mortal to immortality.

387-2 {450} And then, the Bible teaches that we are now
begotten of God. We're begotten of the Holy Spirit that in us is Christ, a son
of God being formed in us. And when this earthly body be dissolved, this spiritual body
comes from the bowels of the earth, there is another body waiting to receive
it. If this earthly tabernacle is dropped, there is another body to receive it.
This mortal body puts on immortality. This terrestrial puts on celestial. This... See what I
mean? There is a natural body that's sinful; but in it's making just like it is
another body that we go to. And I am so grateful to God that I can say as your
pastor and brother, I seen those people, so help me, in that body and handled
them with my hands. That's right.

he that knoweth his place in this hour... "He
that heareth My Word and believeth on Him that sent Me hath (present tense) Eternal Life, shall not come into
the judgment, but's already passed from death unto
Life."
Then when this new Eternal Life dwells in you, it is the
potential or the earnest of you being quickened from mortal to immortality. Let me say that
again. When this Spirit has found you, the individual, and has come upon you,
it is the potential of your eternal inheritance that God thought of you and
made for you before the foundation of the world. That is your potential.
Like if you ask me for an oak tree, and I gave you an acorn. Now,
the--the--the life for the oak tree is in the acorn. Now, but you have to wait
till it grows up.

27-3 You know, our good Baptist friends tell us
when we believe, we've got It. But they didn't have It, yet they'd believed. Acts 19, they'd believed, but they
didn't have. "Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?"
See? They had the mechanics all right, because the apostles were--I mean Apollos was teaching to them and proving by the Bible the mechanics, that Jesus was the Christ, but they didn't have
the Dynamics yet. See? That's it. All right. When... [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.]...?...
You potentially have the Earnest, the waiting. Now, when
you get the Dynamics, you have been quickened from mortal to immortality. It
makes the whole body come subject to the Word. It'll make you act different,
look different, live different; It'll just make you
different.

across the nation, if you've separated yourself from denomination and all the
filth and things of this world, and all those things that keeps you in manmade
creeds, and orders, and things like that, you separated yourself, look up. Get
ready. The fire's going to fall one of these days. God's going to let Him come,
in a sight to behold. Would you be ready when He comes? Would you be ready to
go up with Him when He comes? The secret rapture of the supernatural Bride... She'll be made from mortal to immortality; be changed in
a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. We which are alive and remain shall not
prevent them which are asleep.

has to die so you can live? Now, to you Seventh-day Adventists that's in our
midst, many people say, "I wouldn't shoot a squirrel, Brother Branham. I
wouldn't kill a deer, or a rabbit, fish, 'cause I don't believe that we should
kill things." My brother, did you know that the vegetables and things that
you eat is life also? You have to kill it. And the only way that you can exist
in this life, something has to die so you can live by its dead life. Now, if
something has to die so you can live by its mortal life here on earth to live
mortally, did not Something have to die so that by Its
life you could live eternally? Just ask yourself that question. And that One was Christ, 'cause no other one has
immortality. The Son only has immortality. And He gives Himself to you by just
accepting Him.

188 Lord Jesus, we are a people who are--are
trying our best, with all that's in us to walk in the Light of the Gospel of
Your great Gospel that You died to make right. We are so thankful to see in this evil dark days that we're living now in this hour, that
we see the signs appearing. O God, as it is the handwriting on the wall, we
thank Thee, Lord, that we can see it and know that deliverance is close at
hand. We preach; we cross the country; we see You work
great signs, show Yourself daily, every year. There's not a year passes but
what (great) His Supernatural sign is striking the earth. And we see it,
knowing that the great army of God marches on.
Oh, not many in number, but what a powerful group that's got
Eternal Life. Said, "They shall run through a
troop and leap over a wall." Yes, the troop of death will have no holders
to it, She'll run right through it, leap over the wall
between natural and supernatural, and go into the arms of God, into that great
eternity. Lord God, we thank You for this. We know the
time is approaching at hand.
