II TIMOTHY 1:9

9    Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

II TIMOTHY 1:10

10    But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

EPHESIANS 2:1

  1       And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins;

EPHESIANS 2:2

2    Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

EPHESIANS 2:3

3    Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

EPHESIANS 2:4

4       But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

EPHESIANS 2:5

5    Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

EPHESIANS 2:6

6    And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:

EPHESIANS 2:7

7    That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

QUEEN.OF.THE.SOUTH_  DALLAS.TX  FRIDAY_  58-0613

E-11    And it's strange that people, speaking on Divine healing, that they will not accept it. And they'll accept... How could you preach salvation for the soul without including Divine healing, for sickness is an attribute of sin? Before we had any sickness, we had no sin. Sickness came as the result of sin.

Now, if a big animal had his paw in my side--call it sickness--and was scratching my side and tearing me to pieces, it isn't necessary just to cut the animal's paw off. Just knock him in the head. That kills paw and all.

So then, when you kill sin, you kill every attribute of it. See? So, you... sickness is the result or an attribute of sin, maybe not your sin, but something you've inherited. And so, when you preach salvation for the soul, it has to be for the body too. Now, it's the earnest of our resurrection. If there is no Divine healing, there is no resurrection, for it's just like the earnest, the same as the joy of the Lord and the Holy Spirit, is the earnest of our salvation.

QUEEN.OF.SHEBA_  HARTFORD.CT  SATURDAY_  58-0503

E-44    Jesus said that about her in that generation, how much more today will that queen rise in the generation that we're living in, and condemn this church-going bunch of people, who would laugh and call the Spirit of God a mental telepathy or something? Oh, how critical hours we're living in.

And now, I want you to remember, Jesus promised that the weak and adulternous generation would receive one sign, and that would be the sign of the resurrection. The Bible says that. And what is the resurrection? Jesus Christ, to declare Him to be the same yesterday, today, and forever, to do the same thing that He did, or to be called the same thing that He was, the Spirit of God being a unclean thing, which would condemn the generation of unbelievers, and save the generation that believed.

SCRIPTURAL.SIGNS.OF.THE.TIME_  BIRMINGHAM.AL  FRIDAY_  64-0410

E-28    Remember, all prophecy has a compound meaning. Get in Matthew there, the 3rd chapter, where it said, "Out of Egypt I've called My son." Run the reference back to it, you find out He was talking about Jacob, His son. But also, His greater Son, Jesus, He called out of Egypt.

Now, we find that in there a wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and they'll get it. For the wicked and adulterous generation will see the sign of the resurrection. "As Jonas was in the--the whale's belly for three days and nights, so must the Son of man be in the heart of the earth." Then He'll raise up. Been two thousand years, and we've got another wicked and adulterous generation. And they're receiving a sign of the resurrected Christ alive among us, after nineteen hundred years. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

PRESENCE.OF.GOD.UNRECOGNIZED_  TOPEKA.KS  V-20 N-2  THURSDAY_  64-0618

138    "A wicked and an adulterous generation will seek after a sign, notice, and they will receive a sign." What? This generation. "For as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and nights, the Son of man must be in the heart of the earth three days and nights." What sign will that wicked and adulterous generation receive? The sign of the resurrection.

And today, after two thousand years, we still see Jesus Christ in the power of His resurrection, standing among us, doing the things that He did then and promised to do. "A wicked and an adulterous generation will seek after a sign, always wanting to 'show me this, and if you can do this and do this.' They'll get it, the sign of the resurrection." He's the same yesterday, today, and forever, the Word made manifest dwelling among us. How we should thank God for His great sign.

UNCERTAIN.SOUND_  MIDDLETOWN.OH  WEDNESDAY_  61-0315

E-90    "I am the Resurrection and Life," and I'm in Him. God proved by raising Him up, He will raise me too. I'm already setting in heavenly places, resurrected. It's true as far as God's concerned. "Those who He foreknew, He called. Those who He called, He justified. Those who He has justified, He hath glorified." Amen. Right now, in a--in a stage of glorification, setting in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, in a glorified state, with a power of the resurrection in us has changed us from a sinner to a Christian. Whew. Nothing uncertain about that, no uncertainty.

"How do you know?" It's living in me. How do you know? It's in you. Amen. That's the reason these things are taking place. Nothing uncertain about it: we've passed from death unto Life because we're alive. "He that was dead, though he believeth in Me, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die." All that believes in Him and comes to Him, "I'll give him Eternal Life." Right now, we have Eternal Life and will be raised up at the last days. Whew. My, that's it. Nothing uncertain about that. No, it's already done.

TRUE.EASTER.SEAL_  JEFF.IN  V-14 N-3  SUNDAY_  61-0402

126    Now, we are resurrected today. Why can we have such a time over the things of God? Because we're resurrected. "Those who He foreknew, He called; those who He called, He justified; those who He justified, He has glorified." Then we are now resurrected. We are resurrected from the inside out, not from the outside in. Oh, do you notice, not sealed out this way, but sealed in. Oh, my, if the church could just see it. See, we're not sealed out; we're sealed in. Them days, when sin was--was abomination before God, and there was no appropriation to take it away, we were sealed away from it. Now, when that ripped in two, and that seal was broke by a sin-offering being made from us, now we're baptized inside and sealed inside. We are resurrected. We are now resurrected, already resurrected. How do you know? The Bible said so. Amen. We are now resurrected. We are now raised with Him in spiritual resurrection. What does the word "quickened" mean? "Quickened" means "resurrection." That's right. We're already resurrected right now, setting together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, enjoying the Easter Seal. Amen. That's God's true Easter Seal. How are we? By one Spirit baptized into the Body, and sealed eternally. We are now raised spiritually. What did we raise from? From a life of sin; we were once sinners and loved the things of the world.

LETTING.OFF.THE.PRESSURE_  GREEN.LAKE.WI  FRIDAY_  62-0518

E-57    Now, today, that's the refuge that we have. Look what happens. When we are recognized... He was our substitutionary death. When we realize it's not our righteousness but His, and when we accept Him as a personal Saviour, then we go to the grave with Him in baptism, and we die with Him. If you don't, you shouldn't be buried.

So when you're dead to the--and confess your sins, and call yourself a sinner, and ask for mercy, and are buried with Christ in baptism, we are also risen with Him in the resurrection.

And now being raised from sin (Hallelujah. Now, I feel religious, brother.), being raised from the dead in the likeness of his resurrection, we are raised up from the life of sin, and setting with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of Eternal Life that we are already raised up from the dead. Our souls are alive tonight with Christ, because sin is beneath us and we've raised from there, which is the earnest of our resurrection. Amen.

SEEING.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  SATURDAY_  62-0609M

E-5    And so... But in a group like this it's the closest place to heaven that there is on earth. When here we are setting together this morning, we are already dead; that job's done over. And we are--we are buried. That's right, all buried. And then we are... not only that, but we are risen again. We're raised and in Christ in His resurrection. We're part of it. And now we're assembling together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. See? We are in Him by baptism. See? By one Spirit all baptized in one body, and here we are now assembled, the body of the Lord Jesus.

JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME_  SALEM.OR  WEDNESDAY_  62-0718

E-35    Then we have an earnest of our inheritance. He's told the church, "Go up there to Pentecost, up to the--to the--ten days up at Jerusalem, and wait up there so long. I'm going to send you the earnest of this great land." And we confess our sins, and we die to ourselves, and we rise with Him, and we got the evidence.

Look where we were. Look where we are. Amen. See, we were once down there. Now, we're up here, already holding the evidence that we are dead and buried in Christ, and raised again in the resurrection, and setting tonight with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Oh, my. Every devil, every sickness, every disease, everything is conquered by Him. He's that mighty conqueror. You don't have to conquer anymore. It's already conquered. We're already dead. We're already risen (Amen.), already raised from the dead.

How many in here feels that way tonight? Just look here. Already raised from the dead, you once were dead in doubt, trespasses, doubted the Word of God, doubted It to be true.

REMEMBERING.THE.LORD_  PHOENIX.AZ  TUESDAY_  63-0122

E-68    Oh, we can remember Jesus in His grace, that He lifted us up and promised it, that even now, right now... We don't have to be earthbound. See, we're not earthbound now; we're heaven-bound. We're already dead. Our lives are hid in Him, through Christ, and we're raised with Him, not... We're not--we're not dead with Him; we're raised with Him, and we're setting in heavenly places, remembering Him: setting in heavenly places.

"When, Brother Branham?" Right now. Yes. We won't be raised with Him--we're already raised with Him. This is the firstfruits of our resurrection, passed from death unto Life and alive forevermore, setting in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, already raised with Him from the dead. Yes. What a glorious thing it is to be setting in heavenly places with--with Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Yes, sir.

We can remember Him now, and all of His promises that He made us while we're setting right here now.

GREATER.THAN.SOLOMON.IS.HERE_  SANTA.MARIA.CA  THURSDAY_  62-0628

E-40    And now today after two thousand years, we still stand with the earnest of our salvation, the evidence, to look down and see where we were once unbelievers, where we were once dead in sin and trespasses, and now we've raised with Him in the resurrection. We died with Him; we raised with Him; and we are setting tonight in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, already raised with Him in the resurrection (Amen.), with everything under our feet (Amen.): sickness, death, hell, all done destroyed by our great Warrior, at Whose right hand we stand by. Amen.

What's the scare? No wonder one of them come and said, "Death, where is your sting? Grave, where is your victory? Thanks be to God Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I've fought a good fight. I've finished the course. I've kept the faith. And there's a crown laid up for me that the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me at that day: not only me, but all those who love His appearing." Amen. What if He'd have lived in this day? I can't stay with my text tonight somehow.

FROM.THAT.TIME_  SPOKANE.WA  FRIDAY_  62-0713

E-26    Now, even to this day, that same Holy Spirit that has lifted us up from a life of sin where we once live... And we've already dead in Christ, buried, and raised with Him in His resurrection, and setting now in heavenly places with Him (Amen.), watching Him work among us. Why? Why ain't I out yonder amongst the denominations? Because it's those that are dead and buried in Him, and raised with Him in His resurrection... And now, not we will be, we are now in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, looking back to where we once come from: a direct evidence that we received part of it because we are dead, and our life is hid in God through Christ, and already raised again in the resurrection with Him. Amen. Oh, my.

Like an old colored sister said... Excuse me, my colored friend. I'm going to put it the way she did. She was very southern. She said, "Wells, I wants to make a testimony tonight, doctor."

"All right. Go ahead, sister."

She said, "I want to say this. I hain't what I ought to be," and she said, "I hain't what I want to be. But there's one thing sure. I ain't what I used to be." Yes, sir. She knowed that she had raised up somewhere. Amen.

TRUE.EASTER.SEAL_  JEFF.IN  V-14 N-3  SUNDAY_  61-0402

126    Now, we are resurrected today. Why can we have such a time over the things of God? Because we're resurrected. WHO.IS.THIS.MELCHISEDEC_  JEFF.IN  V-5 N-10  SUNDAY_  65-0221E

70    Before the foundation of the world his Name's put on the Lamb's Book of Life. Then from that He become the Word, the theophany, that could appear, disappear; and then He become flesh and returned back again, resurrected that same body in a glorified condition. But you bypassed the theophany and become flesh-man to be tempted by sin. And then "if this earthly tabernacle is dissolved, we have one already waiting." We have not yet the bodies. But look, when this body receives the Spirit of God, the Immortal Life inside of you, it throws this body in subjection to God. Hallelujah.

"He that's born of God doth not commit sin; he cannot sin." Romans 8:1. "There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus; they walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." There you are. See, that throws your body subject. You don't have to say, "Oh, if I could just quit drinking, if I could just..." Just get in Christ; it's all gone. See, see? Because your body is subject to the Spirit, it's no more subject to the things of the world; they're dead. They are dead; your sins are buried in baptism; and you are a new creation in Christ. And your body becoming subject to the Spirit, try to live a right kind of life...

FAITH_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  61-0813

E-1    When you've got to use faith in God to make it work. See? So you got your own resurrection inside of you.

Your resurrection lays inside of you, in your spirit. Now you know, when Jesus died on the cross, His soul descended into hell and preached to the souls that were in prison, that repented not in long suffering in the days of Noah. His body went into the grave. But before He died, He committed His Spirit into the hands of God: "Into the hands... Into Thy hands commend My Spirit." So you see, His Spirit went to God; His Soul went to hell; His body went to the grave. Now, that Spirit that was in Him was the Spirit of God. And that Spirit in sundry times and divers manners anointed the prophets to bring the message to the people. In the last days through Christ, and now in these days here through the Gospel...
