E-7 And if there is no Divine healing now,
there is no resurrection of the body. Divine healing is the earnest of our
redeemed body. Did you ever think of that? If there's no Divine healing, then
when you go at the grave, that's all of it. You'll be there forever, and your
dust will go away, and there'll be no more of you. See? If
there... We have the earnest of our salvation, and completeness, back
the way we was in the garden of Eden.
And I think that the power of God that would take a cancer-ridden
woman here, that the doctor's has just given a few days, and she's one of the
thousands that's on records, not just the man, the person's testimony, but the
doctors testimony, one of the thousands. And her eaten up (with a few hours to
live), by cancer, and by the earnest of her redeemed body will
put her in the condition it is now, what will it be when she draws the full
value off of the resurrection of Jesus Christ? That's just the
down... You know what the down... the earnest is? The earnest is the down
payment on anything that holds it, a surety, secures it. Now, she's just got
the earnest of it by being healed with a--a hideous cancer, that would've taken
her life, and here she is setting well and normal.

72 Like you women claiming you got Holy Ghost
and going out here and wearing shorts and things, how could you do it? How
could the Spirit of God in you ever let you do such a thing as that? It just
can't be so. Certainly it can't be. He's not a filthy spirit; He's a holy Spirit.
And then when you become subject to that Spirit, it throws your
whole being subject to that Spirit. And that Spirit is nothing in the world but
this Seed Word made manifest, or quickened (Hallelujah.), made alive. And when
the Bible said, "Don't do this," that body quickly turns to it;
there's no question. And what is it? It's the earnest of the resurrection. This body
will be raised up again, because it's already started. It was once subject
to sin, and mire, and corruption, but now it's got the earnest; it's turned
heavenly. Now, that's the earnest that you're going in the rapture. It's the
earnest.
A sick person laying dying, nothing left
but death, that's all can happen. I've seen the shadows of people done eat up
with cancer and tuberculosis, and see them persons a little while after that
perfectly normal and strong. If there is no Divine healing then there's no resurrection, 'cause Divine
healing is the earnest of the resurrection. Amen.
You know what the earnest money is don't
you? It's the down payment. "He was wounded for our transgressions; with
His stripes we're healed."

That sinner will rise in the resurrection to be judged in the body
that he has committed the sin in. See? He'll have to stand the judgment in
resurrection.
Resurrection is not replacement; it's bringing up
that that went down. When Jesus raised from the dead,
He was the same body that went down; He raised in that same kind of a body. We
rise in the same body that we go down in; it's a resurrection, not replacement.
Now, the Bible says that the--that we will be judged according to
the sins done in the body. And when the wicked rises, he will be judged in the
same body that he sinned in, the same thing.

That's our hopes. Now, let's find out why. The Creator has so set it in order,
if we did not even have a Bible, we would still know that Christianity was
right.
Now, resurrection is not replacement. Resurrection is
bringing the same thing up that went down. If I should drop the
Bible from the--the stand on the floor, and catch some--another Bible and
replace it, that's replacement. But resurrection is bring
the same Bible up that went down. And that's what resurrection means: to be--to
be raised up.

But what was God doing in the first place? He was painting a picture. And He

Now, Christianity is based upon resurrection, now, not

Now, if this falls, now to take this and put its place, that's not
resurrection. That's replacement. But resurrection is to bring up the same one
that fell down. The same Jesus that went into
the grave come out of the grave with the scars on His
hand.

people? He dismissed every Gentile from his presence. He certainly did. What
will happen to the remnant of the woman's seed? The dragon spurted water out of
his mouth to make war; Jesus said, "They'll be cast into outer darkness,
and there'll be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth." The great
hours of persecutions and trials will come to the Gentile church.

Now, how could a person on that estate, in that kind of a condition, ever be
sick? Because that your body is not yet redeemed. Your body is not redeemed. No
matter how much, how good you are, and how saintly and how holy, how much Holy
Spirit, that's only your soul. And your soul is not completed yet. It's just
got the blessing, the promise of God, which is the earnest of our salvation. But now, if we have no earnest of our resurrection, no Divine healing, then I'll have no assurance or nothing to
prove to me that there is a resurrection.

God was operating through one human being, Jesus. And when He
returned to God, He operates universally in every believer's heart around the

basis as salvation. Divine healing was included in the Atonement, truly. The
old atonement had Divine healing, and the new one is a much better than the old
one. So if it's better, it's got to be better in every way,
but Divine healing... Salvation of the soul and you
become a new creature--Eternal Life. You don't have eternal health by healing,
but it's an attribute. It's--it's the earnest of your resurrection. If there's
no Divine healing, then there is no resurrection. See?
But now, what is it? It's your own personal faith in a finished work of Christ

So Divine healing has already been

healing; it's one of the great doctrines of the Bible. But Divine
healing has more to it than just Divine healing. Divine healing only says that
there is a God Who's coming again. What does Divine
healing speak of? It's the earnest of our resurrection. If there's no Divine healing then there is no resurrection. See? And if
there is no Holy Spirit now to baptize us, there is no Eternal Life in the
world to come.
The Bible said, "This is the earnest of our salvation."
And you know what the earnest is? Is the down payment.
See? If you go down and pay each... Say you bought a
farm; they wanted ten thousand dollars for it, and you paid two thousand,
that's your "earnest money," they call it the earnest of it. Now, if
this baptism of the Holy Spirit is just the earnest on what's coming, oh, what
will it be when we--when we get the full price? It'll be glorious.
