God came down in a blood cell, not through a man, but by
the Holy Ghost, and in that virgin womb a tabernacle for the purpose of death
was built. The Seed of the woman came in order that He be
bruised to bring us our salvation. When the Holy Ghost came upon Mary, He
created within her womb the cell that would multiply and become the body of our
Lord. That cell was created. It was the Beginning of the Creation of God. That
is Who Jesus is. And that Holy One was filled with Holy blood, even the blood
of God. That tabernacle came to birth. He grew to be a man. He went to

but a sinner's death. Our sins was upon Him, and He'd

E-57 Here some time ago I was preaching,
exalting... And a woman, belongs to another church. I
don't like to call churches, denominational names; but this woman,
she belonged to a church that believed in mental healing. They believe that
the--that the devil is a thought, and God's a thought, and your--your thoughts
is whatever it is. They deny the Deity of Jesus Christ in this day that when
people try to make Jesus just a man.
Why, He was more than a man. If He was just a man, we're all
lost. He was God, nothing less of God. He was God manifest in the flesh:
Jehovah, the Father, dwelling in His Son, reconciling the world to Himself.
That's the reason we was commissioned by Saint Matthew there,
"baptize them in the Name of the Father, Son, Holy
Ghost." Watch. Not three Gods, three manifestations of the same God. God
the Father was a Pillar of Fire. It was made flesh and dwelled among us: God
the Son. God above us, God with us, now, the same God, the Holy Ghost in us.
Three office: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. It's the
same God, not three Gods; the one God made Hisself
three offices, three manifestations. Amen.
Oh, what a world we're living in. Notice,
perfect. Now, when He was here on earth...

Satan said, "All right, death, now you know I have you in my command. And
there he is. We've finally wore him out. It's got to a place to where
he's--he's at the end of his wits. He doesn't know what to do anymore. He's
become a reproach amongst the people. His message fell to the air. And now, the
government has caught him and he is defeated. He's not God. Go down there and

He had to be more than a man. If He'd have been a man, or just a prophet,
or anything less than God, if He'd have been that, death would've stung Him and
He'd have laid in the grave. But the bee of death is like any other insect
with a stinger. If it ever gets its stinger caught deep, its stinging days are
over. It pulls its stinger out.
Well, as long as human flesh was in the--the form of sin, sexually
born under the curse, then when death stung that flesh, the stinger could come
back and sting another. But when he stung that flesh, it pulled his stinger
out. He has no more stinger. He was God in flesh, tabernacling among men. His stinging days were over.

27 Let us turn in the Old Testament now, to
the Book of the Proverbs, written by Solomon, one of the wisest men in the
world, outside of our Lord Jesus. But He wasn't exactly like Solomon, insomuch
that Solomon was a man borned of a woman and was begotten
by an earthly father, David. But Jesus was a virgin-born Son,
and was not altogether a man; but He was God, the God-Man, and He was more than
a man; He was a man plus. See? But Solomon was just a man like you and I, and
he asked God for wisdom to run his kingdom. And he had a gift of
wisdom, the smartest man that we've ever known of outside of our Lord. He wrote
the Proverbs, and I think they're very good.

And he said, "Oh, He was a good Man; He was a philosopher.
But He couldn't be God; He wasn't Divine."
I said, "He was Divine. He had to be Divine. If He was a man,
He was born sexual birth; but He was born a virgin birth, so He was God's Blood.
The Bible said we're saved by the Blood of God."
She said, "I'll prove it to you, He wasn't no more than

I said, "If you can prove it by the Bible."
She said, "I'll do it."
I said, "Let's hear your Scripture."
She said, "In St. John the 11th chapter, when Jesus went down

I said, "I remember it."
Said, "He cried. The Bible said He wept."
I said, "That's true." I said, "What's that got to

She said, "That proves He wasn't Divine, because He could not

E-18 Most wonderful life that was ever lived on
earth had to die when He was yet in His youth. For God had spoke; and His--His
judgments had--had to have justice. For it is written, "The day you eat
thereof that day you die." God's justice required death.
And there was no one of us could die for one another. No man could
do that. He was the only Man could die that kind of a
death. For we were all borned in sin, shaped in
iniquity, come to the world speaking lies. We were guilty from the beginning.
So how could a good man die for another man when he was guilty himself? There
could not be any of us take that kind of a position.
So it had to take His death.
And God came down and was manifested in the flesh in order to die
a death. God could not die in Spirit, because God is eternal, His Spirit
doesn't die. But He was God. And He had to unfold Himself, and--and come from
glory to a manger, and take on the form of sinful flesh in order to die to secure
His Church, or to redeem His Church, to reconcile them back to Himself.
Oh, brother, sister, there's nobody could explain that, what God
did when He died for us; His flesh was put to death.

That's the reason I believe that in this day when we're living,
when they try to make Jesus just a prophet, He was more than a prophet; He was God manifested in the flesh, the Divine Son of the
living God. He was more than just a seer or a good man; He was God manifested

E-19 It was an important conference, and in this
day when theologians are preaching, and people are
saying that Jesus was just a man, that Jesus was just a--an ordinary prophet,
that He wasn't Divine... Why it would break the whole picture. He was more than
a prophet. He was God came down in flesh to give conference and reconciliation.
It wasn't just an ordinary man or a prophet. He was a God of the prophets.
And He came down in flesh and when... It sure, certainly shows
that in the beginning the first conference that God had with man He came
Himself. He didn't trust it to someone else. When God came down to redeem man, He never
trusted to a prophet. He came Himself, for He was the only One that could do
it.

subject for a minute. When the first news come to
glory that the son had been lost, Adam, did God send an Angel? Did He send a

Who called you? Some people said, "I just sought God and
sought God." You never did. No one else ever did. It's God seeking man,
not man seeking God. No man seeks God. God seeks man, proved that in the garden of Eden, instead of confessing he was hiding. God was
seeking him.
And another thing, did you notice, God never sent an Angel down to
hunt up His lost child. He came Himself. That's the reason that Jesus was made, God
flesh among us. God came Hisself
to redeem His child. It was a man made--man size job, nobody could do it but

was the prophets. He was the kings. He was the history. He was
He that was to come: He that was, He that is, and He that's to be in this day,
the same yesterday, today, and forever. He was manifested for that purpose. And
through that purpose He achieved a Church, that He,
the Fullness of God might bring to pass every promised Word of God in these last
days when He gets the preeminence, preeminence in the Church, the position, His
place in the Church. Jesus said, "He that believeth on Me,
the works that I do shall he also, even more than this shall he do, for I go to

it work. See? So you got your own resurrection inside of you.
Your resurrection lays inside of you, in
your spirit. Now you know, when Jesus died on the cross, His soul descended
into hell and preached to the souls that were in prison, that
repented not in long suffering in the days of Noah. His body went into the grave.
But before He died, He committed His Spirit into the hands of God: "Into
the hands... Into Thy hands commend My Spirit." So you see,
His Spirit went to God; His Soul went to hell; His body went to the grave. Now,
that Spirit that was in Him was the Spirit of God. And that Spirit in sundry
times and divers manners anointed the prophets to
bring the message to the people. In the last days through Christ, and now in
these days here through the Gospel...
