of things hoped for, the evidence of things you do not see, taste, feel, smell,
or hear. You believe it. Your body has five senses; none of
them senses contact God. God give you them five senses to contact your earthly
home, here on earth.

14-5 Now, if you'll set down when you get home
and draw three little rings, you'll find out that the outside body has five senses it's contacted by, and that is see,
taste, feel, smell, hear; that's the five senses that control the human body.
Inside of the body is a soul, and that soul is controlled by imaginations,
conscience, memory, reasons, and affections; that's the thing that controls the
soul. But the spirit, its only has one sense--the spirit. Oh, let's get it! The
spirit has one sense, and that sense is--either dominates it, is faith or
doubt. That's exactly. And there's only one avenue to it, that's free moral
agency. You can accept doubt or you can accept faith, either one you want to
work on.
Therefore, Satan begin at the principal part to cause the spirit
of man to doubt God's Word. God begin at the principal part to lay His Word in
that spirit. There you are, that's what does it.

204 Now, remember, you're in a cycle of three,
but you're one person. Like Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, cycle of three, but
one Person, three attributes of the same God: fatherhood... Three offices like:
fatherhood, sonship, and Holy Ghost. And you are body, spirit, and soul.
Now, the outside body has five inlets to it to contact your
earthly home: see, taste, feel, smell, and hear. The inside, which is a spirit,
it has five senses: conscience, and love, and so forth. But the inside of that,
the soul, has one thing. That's where you live.

E-19 Did you ever see people you love to be
around, just love to be around them? Because they create an atmosphere, a
heavenly, and you like to be around them. Others seem to be good people, but
you just--I have to get away once in a while, that... You know what I mean. And
yet they seem to be good people. It's not creative.
And man was made to be a god; we know that. Genesis 1:26, he had
domain over the whole earth, and he was made to be an amateur god. And now,
when he receives God, he becomes a son of God again. He was made in the image
of God. God had hands; God had feet; and so therefore a man was made like Him.
So he is an amateur god. But sin has blinded every fiber in his body, in his
mind, in his heart. But now, don't never try to study it out. You cannot figure
it out.

13-4 And in this, there's a--a mutual ground,
"no-man's-land," and they fight here at this place. They just don't
one fight over here, and one down here, and one right over here; there's a
battle front where they meet and test their powers, where each army tests its
strength against the other army--a mutual meeting place.
Now, don't get--miss this. When this great battle started on
earth, there had to be a mutual meeting place; there had to be a place selected
for the battle to begin, and for the battle to rage; and that battlegrounds
begin in the human mind. There's where the battle starts.
The human mind was chosen for the place of the battle, where it was to begin;
and that is, because that decisions are made from the mind, the head.
Now, they never started it from some organization; they never
started it from some mechanical affair; the grounds never started there;
therefore, that organization can never, never do the work of God, because the
battlegrounds, where you've got to meet your enemy, is in the mind. You've got
to make your choice. It meets you.

14-2 Decisions are made in the mind,
the head. There's where Satan meets you. And the decisions are, because that
God made a man that way. Now, I have... If you was looking on my note here, a
little map drawed out. I had it here not long ago on--used on the board.
The human being is made up just like a grain of wheat. It's a
seed, and the human being is a seed. Physically you're the seed of your father
and mother, and the life come from the father, the pulp come from the mother.
So the two together, the egg and the--the blood comes together, and in the
blood cell is life, and in there it begins to develop making the--the child.

E-11 Now, the thing of it is, since He has
restored man back to this place, man in the fall has lost his conscious of what
Father put him here on earth to do. In other words, all of the plumbing, as it
was, in our brain, and the outlets, the faith, has been
clogged up with business affair, with home life, domestic things. It's all
become so clogged--clogged up with that until God can't operate through those
channels that He made a man for.
Now, when God made the human body, every little part had it's
place to play: the teeth, the tongue, the eyes, the nose. God does everything
in there to make it perfect in operation to make the man to live. And if God so
patterned the man, the body of a man, how much more has He patterned and set in
order the Body of Christ, the Church?

"Perishing with their brain, the mind?" Yes,
sir. Yes, sir. Your mind will perish with your death.
I will prove it to you. The lie detector don't take your
mind; it takes your soul. The vibration of your nerves don't run on
your mind; it runs on your soul. Amen. So your intellects will die when your
brain ceases to function. When the blood fails to pour through the brain, and
the nerves cease, then your mind goes away and your soul catches up with you.

12-4 Now, you truly have two different mental
faculties. You have one of them that's in your head by your brain, and
the other is operated in your heart, which is called your soul: your spirit and
your soul. Now, they are very
much in disagreement many times. When the head seems to say something, the soul
wonders at it if it's not right. But when it comes into the soul, the head
seems to step back.
There's been things that's happened to you that you knew was going
to be, yet, you could not explain why. And there's no reason; you couldn't
explain it out; but yet, you just accepted it, and it happened just that way.
That's when something happens down here.

676-160 Your brain is not your intelligence; it's your spirit that's
in you is your intelligence. See? Your brain is a bunch of matter and cells and
so forth; it has no intelligence in itself. If it did, then as
long as it laid there, whether you was dead or alive, it would still operate.
See? But it's not--it's not your brain; it is your spirit inside of you. And your soul
is the nature of that spirit. That's the soul of the spirit that controls--the
spirit that controls the body. See? There you are.
Now, I got to hurry, 'cause we're just getting a little bit late.

E-17 A little girl, she looks like, she was an
alcoholic. And she was in one of the greatest Protestant churches in the states
the other day giving a testimony. And the people wept when she told them how
that she'd been brought from a drunkard's grave, where five of the best doctors
in the nation said, "She's hopeless." The A. A., Alcoholics Anonymous
give her up as a hopeless case.
And when she come to the platform, the Holy Spirit said, "Rosella
Griffith, you are an alcoholic and so-and-so and such a things has happened.
But THUS SAITH THE LORD..." And she was delivered. She gave her testimony.
The people wept. And after while somebody said, "Oh, she was a darling
child, but she's Pentecostal."
Don't you see that old manmade green-eyed devil? Oh, you can't
polish it up. It's still sin and unbelief. I don't care if it was a Jehovah
Witness, or any other kind of a witness, as long as God's there I'll be with
it. Correct. When God moves in the Spirit, His children moves with It.
Someone's recorder... I'm sorry. I'm not excited, but I feel real
religious. Oh, there's just something about it gets all over you. The Word...
Not all over you, but all in you, It moves every little fiber inside of you.
Man works by his head and looks by his eye. See the Devil said to
the woman, "Oh, the tree is pleasant."
She said, "It's good to look at." See that same
Devil, if he can get you to stop just for a minute, he can make you reason it
out. He can make you think with your mind. But God doesn't use a man's head.
God uses his heart. God works on his heart while the Devil works on his head.
God chose the heart. The Bible says, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so
is he."
