The Smyrnaean church had drifted far
from the original. It had become a hybrid. It had hybridized itself the way Eve
did. You know that a hybrid is what comes of two species mixing. The result is no longer pure like the original. It is mongrel. Well, when Eve
allowed the beast to mingle his seed with hers she produced a creature called
Cain that wasn't pure human. He was of the WICKED ONE. Notice how different he
was from Abel. Notice how different he was from Seth. He hated God and would
not obey the Word and persecuted and killed the righteous. He set himself up
above the Word of God.

a terrible force all around... It behooves you, my brother, sister, to consider
what you're listening at, and don't you never
underestimate Satan's power for deceiving. Don't you never

communism. No. The antichrist spirit is so close like the real thing till it'll
deceive the very elect if possible. Jesus said so, Matthew 24. It's a religious
spirit. Oh, why, Cain and Abel were brothers. The crow and
the dove set on the same roost. Esau and Jacob were brothers. Judas and Jesus
was in the same church, One the Preacher and the other one the treasurer. See
there, always just the deceiving... The lie that Cain... that Satan told Eve, was ninety percent truth, ninety percent truth. And the lie that you can tell...
How I've heard men bypass pieces in the Scripture, just to keep
from... It hurts their theology. See? But if--if--if this
part's right, that part's right. Let's put it together and make it fit
through the whole Bible. Now, in the beginning when God...

In every age we have exactly the same pattern. That is why the
light comes through some God-given messenger in a certain area, and then from
that messenger there spreads the light through the ministry of others who have
been faithfully taught. But of course all those who go out don't always learn
how necessary it is to speak ONLY what the messenger has spoken. (Remember,
Paul warned the people to say only what he said, I Corinthians 14:37, "If
any man think himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that
the things that I write unto you are the COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD. What? came the Word of God out from you? or
came it unto you only?") They add here, or take away there, and soon the message is no longer pure, and the
revival dies down. How careful we must be to hear ONE voice, for the Spirit has
but one voice which is the voice of God. Paul warned them to say what he said,
even as Peter did likewise. He warned them that EVEN HE (PAUL) could not change
one word of what he had given by revelation. Oh, how important it is to hear
the voice of God by way of His messengers, and then say what has been given
them to say to the churches.

212 Let me just read
this verse and then I'll tell you what Paul, the things that... The very
message I preached tonight, here's what Paul said on predestination, on water
baptism in Jesus' Name, the Holy Ghost baptism, the setting in the church, and so
forth. Here's what he said:
I marvel... (telling
these Galatians)... that you're so soon
moved from him that called you unto... grace of Christ,... (I am so ashamed of you, in other words, that you let
somebody come in and twist you away from that.)... unto another Gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that
trouble you, and would prevent the Gospel of Christ," prevent the real
Gospel of Christ.

Is that right? Now, Christians, look this a-way; I'm going to ask
you something. Who was it that commanded the people that had been baptized
another way besides the Name of Jesus Christ to come and be baptized over
again? [Congregation says, "Paul"--Ed.] He preached the whole
counsel. Is that right? Well? And what did Paul say in, I believe it was the...
I'm not sure now whether it's Thessalonians the 1st chapter and the 8th verse.
"If we or an angel from heaven would preach any other gospel, if a angel
come down from heaven and preached any other gospel than this" (than
commanding men to be baptized again in the Name of Jesus Christ, and the Gospel
that Paul preached)... If any angel from heaven (Not a... let alone a bishop,
or a cardinal, or a general overseer, or a pastor, or--or something)... If a angel come down from heaven
and preached another gospel besides this, let him be cursed." That's
right. Is that right? What he said, that's Galatians 1:8. I just happened to
think of it. All right, Galatians 1:8, if you want to put that down, see what
Paul said.

1:8. Then he repeated it again, said, "As I have said, so say I again,
though an angel (let alone a minister, bishop, pope, or whatever it might be)--if a angel come down from heaven, a cherubim, out of the
heavens and preached another Gospel than that, let him be cursed."
Then I command you, if you've never been baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ,
while the water is in the pool, and the robes are waiting, come and be
baptized, calling upon the Name of the Lord; and you shall receive the gift of
the Holy Ghost; for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to them
that's far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

And Who is the Truth? Jesus is the Truth,
the Truth of the Gospel. Now, what Gospel? There's only one Gospel.
Galatians 1 said, "Though an Angel preach any
other Gospel, let him be accursed." This is the Gospel, the Gospel of your
salvation, not another; there is not another--not--not
another Name given under heaven whereby you must be saved." But in the Name of what? [Congregation says, "The Lord
Jesus Christ"--Ed.] Oh, me.

Oh, "After you believed.." How
can we just run over that, brethren? Let's just leave it for tonight, what do
you say? Oh, my. I--I just can't go any--any farther than that. Let's leave it
for tonight. I just can't leave that word "sealed," how you get in
that. See?

"Preach this Gospel to every creature." Now, remember, He's taking in
both, all four guards Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John (See?), "Preach the
Gospel to every creature."

43 Now, taking this subject of demonology and
speaking about demons. Now, people, when you say "demon," right quick
they begin to think, "Oh, some fanaticism or something." But demons is just as real as Angels; they're just as real.
And the Devil is just as real a devil, as Jesus Christ is the Son
of God. He's a devil. Heaven is just as real. And if there is no such a thing
as hell, there's no such a thing as heaven. And if there isn't an eternal
blessed--eternal punishment, rather, there's no eternal blessed. If there's no
day, there's no night. See? But as sure as there's
day, there's night. As--as soon... As sure as there's
a Christian, there's bound to be a hypocrite. As sure as there's
somebody that's genuine from God, there's somebody to impersonate that. See?
It's just exactly pro and con, black and white, right on down through life on
everything, true and false everywhere. And there is a false Gospel;
there's a true Gospel. There's a true Baptism; there's a false baptism. There's
a make-belief, and there's a real. There's a true American
dollar; there's a false American dollar. There's a genuine Christian, there's a
genuine hypocrite (See?), that's just impersonating. So you find that, so it
all goes together. Now, we can't separate it; God lets the rain fall.

as Paul spoke to one of the groups, "I am so surprised that you turned to
another gospel (which there is no other but a make-believe gospel),

works that I do will identify Myself in you.'" Oh, what a Message. No
wonder we've had a dark world of theology. But in the evening time there shall
come Light again. There will be a resurrection in the evening time. It shall be
Light at the evening time.

gospel of Christ.

angel from heaven,... (That would be
priest, pope, preacher, whatever it might be.)... though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any
other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be
accursed.
And as... And we said before, so now I say again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that which
you have received, let him be accursed.
"If we shall take one Word away from the Bible,"
Revelation 21 or 22, and, "or add one thing to It, knowingly, the same will
be taken out of the Book of Life, for us."

Where, oh where, are we spiritually? We are in a wilderness of
darkness. How far we have wandered from the first church.
Pentecost is nowhere in view and the Word cannot be found. Apostolic
succession, which today abounds, is not found in the Word. It is a man-made
device. It supersedes illegally the truth that GOD, NOT MAN, has set His
leaders in the church. Peter was not even in
