I THESSALONIANS 4:13

13       But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

I THESSALONIANS 4:14

14    For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

I THESSALONIANS 4:15

15    For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

I THESSALONIANS 4:16

16    For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

I THESSALONIANS 4:17

17    Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

I THESSALONIANS 4:18

18    Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I CORINTHIANS 15:52

52    In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

RAPTURE.THE_  YUMA.AZ  V-5 N-14  SATURDAY_  65-1204

141    He ordained these things to be, and He must send this. The first thing come when He starts descending from the heaven, there's a shout. What is it? It's a Message to get the people together. A Message comes forth first. Now, "Lamp trimming time. Rise and trim your lamps." What watch was that? The seventh, not the sixth, the seventh. "Behold the Bridegroom cometh. Rise and trim your lamps." And they did. Some of them found they didn't even have any oil in their lamp. See? But it's lamp trimming time. It's Malachi 4 time when you come... It's Luke 17. It's--it's Isaiah... All those prophecies that it can--perfectly set in order for this day in the Scriptures, we see it living right there. There's no...?...

RAPTURE.THE_  YUMA.AZ  V-5 N-14  SATURDAY_  65-1204

152    No, it's... The first thing is the sounding--or the first thing is the trumpet and a--or a voice--a shout, and then a voice, and then a trumpet. Shout, a messenger getting the people ready... The second is a voice of the resurrection. The same voice that, a loud voice in St. John 11:38 and 44 that called Lazarus from the grave. Getting the Bride together, and then the resurrection of the dead (See?), to be caught up with it. Now, watch the three things take place.

RAPTURE.THE_  YUMA.AZ  V-5 N-14  SATURDAY_  65-1204

153    The next is what? was a trumpet. A voice--a shout, a voice, a trumpet. Now, the third thing is a trumpet, which always at the Feast of Trumpets is calling the people to the feast; and that'll be the Bride's supper, the Lamb's supper with the Bride in the sky.

See, the first things comes forth is His Message calling the Bride together. The next thing is a resurrection of the sleeping Bride, the--the one that's died back in the other ages. They're caught together, and the trumpet, the feast in the heavens--in the sky. Why, it's--that's the thing that takes place, friends.

We're right there ready now. The only thing, the church coming out has got to lay before the sun to ripen. The great combine will come by after while. The wheat will be burned, the stalks, but the grain will be gathered into it's garner. See?

RAPTURE.THE_  YUMA.AZ  V-5 N-14  SATURDAY_  65-1204

164    Therefore, the Message calls the Bride together. See? The shout and the trumpet, the same morning with a loud voice He screamed out with that shout, and--and voice and woke Lazarus. With a loud voice He cried, "Lazarus, come forth." See? And the voice wakes up--wakes up the sleeping Bride, the sleeping dead.

And the trumpet, with the sound of the trumpet, and when it does, it calls... Always a trumpet called Israel to the Feast of the Trumpets (See?), which was the Pentecostal feast, the great feast in the sky and the Feast of the Trumpets... And now, a trumpet denounced a calling together, calling to the feast. And now that is the--the Lamb's supper in the sky (Now, watch.,)--the assembling together in the Bride, the Feast of the Trumpets, the Wedding Supper.

We have seen it in types. Now, watch just a moment before we close.

RAPTURE.THE_  YUMA.AZ  V-5 N-14  SATURDAY_  65-1204

129    Now, I want you to notice a great thing taken place here now. Don't miss this. See? Now, notice, the Word says here in II Thessalonians that there's three things... Notice, from the 13th to the 16th verse there's three things that has to happen before the Lord Himself appears. (Quickly now so we can close. See?) The first thing happened, notice: a shout, a voice, a trumpet. Let's read it now and see if that's right. See?

For the Lord himself... (16th verse)... shall descend from heaven with a shout, and with a voice of the archangel, and... the trump of God:...

REVELATION.CHAP.FOUR.PT.1_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 551-584  SATURDAY_  60-1231

159    It's the same thing tonight, when a clear sounding voice says, "Sinner, repent, I'll give you Eternal Life." Repent, every one of you, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. That's the summons. Nothing uncertain about it.

I'm a witness that it's true. There's other witnesses, millions of them throughout the world today, that's a witness that it's the truth. When the Bible comes, the Words of God, every Word of God is a trumpet. Every sound of the Word is a trumpet, the Gospel trumpet. And when It sounds, it's the truth. When it said, "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever," nothing uncertain about that. He's the same. Yes, sir.

UNCERTAIN.SOUND_  SPOKANE.WA  SATURDAY_  62-0714

E-50    Paul, here, was talking in Corinthians 14:8, of training a soldier. He's trained to a sound. That soldier, if he's a trained soldier, he knows every sound of that trumpet just exactly what to do. He's trained to that trumpet. When that trumpet sounds...

He said, "If a trumpet gives an uncertain sound," then the soldier don't know what to do, because he's only trained to the sound of the trumpet. He knows exactly what to do, because the trumpet sounding tells him what to do.

He said, "Now, if the trumpet gives a uncertain sound, then he don't know what to do." Now, that was training in natural soldier. And the Christian soldier is trained to a trumpet, a sound of a trumpet. And that's the Gospel trumpet, the Gospel, the sound of the Word of God, the Gospel trumpet. And if one never knew the sound of the Gospel trumpet, he'd be a bit confused. If he didn't know what the Word said, and what the Word taught, just what the church said, he'd be a bit confused when he heard the sound of the trumpet. He wouldn't know how to prepare himself.

TEN.VIRGINS_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 425-492  SUNDAY_  60-1211M

141    It'll be a secret coming; no one will know when it's going to happen. We're commanded to be ready and watching. We don't know what hour. But whatever it is, we'll not prevent any of these back in here; for just as soon as Jesus appears, the whole watch rises. Dead or alive, doesn't matter.

We don't--we don't meet Him first; we meet one another first. The Bible said, Ephesians 5th chapter, It said, "For we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord (down here) shall not prevent or hinder those which are asleep." Them precious ones that sealed their blood--sealed their testimony with their blood. "Not prevent (or hinder) those that are asleep, for the trumpet will sound." Something'll take place, "the Gospel something will sound," the announcing of His coming. "And the dead in Christ shall rise first. And we which are alive and remain shall be changed." Standing, and feel a change come on, the gray hair go out, the wrinkles fall away, be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. And we shall meet our loved ones first: "There's mama, papa; there's my buddy. Oh, hallelujah, we're ready." And then, together with them that were dead," says the Scripture, "we'll be caught up in the air to meet the Lord." The order of the coming...

WHAT.HOLY.GHOST.WAS.GIVEN.FOR_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-3  THURSDAY_  59-1217

51    We're in a day now... Back there, they wasn't half as smart as today. They couldn't make an atomic bomb or an automobile. They didn't have science and things as we have now, but--and things of mysterious things. To try to say man blowed together by some dust and so forth, and take some analysis, and try to prove it to make infidels out of people... But now, when we need it, the Spirit of God raises a standard. What is it? He's pouring in His Spirit. Then those who are resting out yonder in the grave, or under the altar of God as the Scripture says, are crying, "How long, Lord? How long? How much longer?" God's waiting on me and you. The church is waiting on me and you: adoption time, when God can pour into us His Fullness, His power, His Resurrection, that when the church and Christ become so close together till Christ becomes visible among us, and raises the dead, and we go into the rapture.

Now, we're going to say--show after while that just those who are filled with the Holy Ghost goes in that rapture, "For the rest of the dead live not for the space of a thousand years." That's right. Just Holy Spirit filled people was all that went in the rapture.

48-2 PATMOS.VISION  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.2

THE VOICE LIKE A TRUMPET

Revelation 1:10, "... And heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet." John was in the Spirit, and when he was, he saw the great and wonderful day of the Lord Jesus and all His holy power. The future was about to unfold for God was about to teach him. John did not say it was a trumpet. It was like a trumpet. Now when a trumpet is blown it has an urgency about it. It is like the herald, the king's messenger, coming to the people. He blows on a trumpet. It is an urgent call. The people gather to listen. (Israel was always assembled by the sounding of a trumpet.) Something important is at hand. "Listen to it." So this voice had the same urgency of appeal as did the trumpet. Clear and strong it was, startling and awakening. Oh, that we might hear the voice of God as a trumpet this day, for it is the 'Gospel Trumpet' sounding forth the 'Word of Prophecy' to make us aware of, and prepared for, what is coming upon the earth.

340-1 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9

A momentary consideration of church history will prove how accurate this thought is. In the Dark Ages the Word was almost entirely lost to the people. But God sent Luther with the WORD. The Lutherans spoke for God at that time. But they organized, and again the pure Word was lost for organization tends toward dogma and creeds, and not simple Word. They could no longer speak for God. Then God sent Wesley, and he was the voice with the Word in his day. The people who took his revelation from God became the living epistles read and known of all men for their generation. When the Methodists failed, God raised up others and so it has gone on through the years until in this last day there is again another people in the land, who under their messenger will be the final voice to the final age.

SPIRITUAL.FOOD.IN.DUE.SEASON_  JEFF.IN  V-8 N-7  SUNDAY_  65-0718E

127    You remember when Elisha, later on, had called down... After that meal-offering that he had, Christ, and sustained the widow's house with it, notice later on when he called fire down out of the heavens, and so forth, and proved his sending of God, the prophet's Spirit...

Notice, in the wilderness, when he was laying down there under the juniper tree, a Angel come down with that same kind of meal, and baked some cakes and fed him. And a little later on He put him to sleep again, and woke him up, and he had some more meal cakes baked there for him. And he went in the strength of those cakes for forty days. Glory to God. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Oh, how we love Him, spiritual Food in its season.

RAPTURE.THE_  YUMA.AZ  V-5 N-14  SATURDAY_  65-1204

130    Three things happen, a voice--a shout, a voice, a trumpet, has to happen before Jesus appears. Now, a shout. Jesus does all three of them when He's--He's--He's descending. A "shout," what is a "shout"? It's the Message going forth first, the living Bread of Life bringing forth the Bride.

Now, God has a way of doing things, and He never changes His policy. He never changes His... He's the unchanging God. In Amos 3:7 He said He would do nothing on the earth until first He revealed it to His servants the prophets. And just as certain as He promised it, He'll do it.

BREACH.THE_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  63-0317E

104-2  {247}    They died... Jesus said, "He that believeth on Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. Whosoever liveth and believeth on Me shall never die. He that eats My flesh and drinks My Blood has Everlasting Life, and I'll raise him up at the last day."

No matter if he falls asleep in the first watch, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh, wherever he falls asleep... What'll happen? The trumpet of God shall sound, that last trump will blast forth the same time that the last angel's giving his message and the last Seal is opened, that last trumpet will sound, and the Redeemer comes forth to take His redeemed possessions: His church, blood-washed.
