116 People of today take all kinds of spirits.
They go up and take a church spirit; they even take spirits that call
themselves God's spirits, born again, and deny the Word of God being
true. Could you imagine the Spirit of God denying His Own Word?
To you Catholic people, Roman Catholic, I mean, could you actually say that you
are borned of the Spirit of God, and take those
dogmas which is contrary to the Bible, and deny the Word of God, and say that
you are--the Spirit of God's in you, the Spirit that wrote
this Bible would deny It? That would be me telling something and standing up
and lying against it: God saying something, then turn around and lie about it,
when the Bible said, "It's impossible for God to lie, 'cause He's the very
Fountain of all Truth."

cocklebur. That's right. It'll express it.
That's the reason that a dual is a hypocrite. That's a hybrid. A man that claims to be a man of God and deny the Word,
he's a hypocrite. A mule that claims to be the horse, he's not a
horse. He said, "I'm a donkey," and neither one; you're a hypocrite,
bastard born, just exactly. That's flat, but that's what it is. He didn't aim
to do that. Man done that with his wisdom. That's where he gets. That's where
all man's wisdom winds up: to be bastard borned. All right.

presuming, say we have it. "Yeah, sure. I did
this. I--I shook all night. You know what? I got blood in my hands. That shows
I got it."
You got blood in your hand? You might have that, and then
turn around, and deny the Word of God, and say you got the Holy Ghost? The Holy
Ghost will say "Amen" to every Word, 'cause It
wrote the Word. It is the Word. Sure. Stop presuming. Wait till all that
temper, sin, and things is gone away from you, so God can fill you up.

that way? What did they do it? How did they do it? They denied the
Word. And when you deny the Word, there's only one thing to build upon, and
that's the educational system. When the truth is denied, education is accepted.
That's exactly right. They took education.
Same thing today. Look at our Pentecostal churches,
brethren. Now, we might as well open our eyes and say it's the truth. Our churches is not what they used to be. Now, your churches are
my brethren. They're fine. I love them. That's the reason I'm with them. If I
didn't believe in them, I sure wouldn't be around here saying what I'm saying.
I love them. But what's happened?
Instead of them experiences we used to have with God, we send our
children over here to school somewhere, and get a Ph.D. and a LL.D., and bring
him home. And he knows no more about God than a Hottentot
knows about Egyptian knight. Right. We take our children
to--in the Sunday schools. God don't have any grandchildren. God has sons.
That's right. But we take them in, say, "Well, they're Pentecostal 'cause
their mother was Pentecost and raised them up Pentecostal." That don't make them Pentecostals.

that He had in order to live His Life. And when you see His Life, then you will
know His Word. That's right. "When He," personal pronoun, not a

and will show you things that is to come." That's the birth. That's the vindication that
It is Word. And when a man says he's got the Holy

Word? You can't do it. God is the Word. The Word's in you. You and the Word are
the same. All the Word is, you are. Amen. If I'm
living in this generation, what this portion of Word promised to this
generation I've got to be that. If I'm going to be a Christian, I've got to be
identified with all that the Bible preaches and stands for. Hallelujah.
You're going to call me a holy-roller anyhow, and I feel pretty religious right
now.
Yes, sir. I've got to be identified with everything that that
Bible claims, and give it claims. And if I haven't been stricken with this
modern day spiritual amnesia, I am--will be, and can be identified with it. If
I deny it, then I've got spiritual amnesia. Something has happened. I've
accepted a creed or a doctrine, or some church, or group of men. Now, I can't
do it. When yet the Word comes and identifies itself... That's why Jesus wasn't
recognized.
Oh, they say, "Well, this man's holy, this
our holy priest, our holy this..."
And Jesus said, "You're of your father the devil, and his
works you'll do."

237. Matthew 24:24:
"And there shall rise false prophets--and false christs, and false prophets, and will show great
signs and wonders." How shall we recognize them?
"There shall rise..." In that now
you're coming on down into another age. See? "... raise false christs and false prophets."
A false christ
is a false anointed, because Christ is the Anointed. How many knows that the
"Christ" means "the anointed One"? There will be false
anointed ones, and they'll call themselves prophets. But how will you recognize
them? By the Word; that's how you'll know it: by the Word, whether they are
right. How will we recognize them? Will be by the Word.
If they're... If they say that they have the Word, and
then deny the Word, then there's nothing to it, no matter what they do. They
might heal the sick; they might open the eyes of the blind; and deny the Word,
stay away from it. Don't care what it is, stay with that Word regardless
(See?), because many times I've seen voodoo and all kinds of things take place
under--under healing.

Spirit, and the Holy Spirit wrote the Word, and a man have
the baptism of the Holy Spirit and deny the Word? How can the
Holy Spirit in you deny Its own Word that was set
forth for you? I can't understand it. It's got to agree with the Word, and if
your spirit in you won't punctuate every one of God's promises with
"Amen." there's something wrong.
Brother Fred Sothmann, or somebody here
tonight, quoted, "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and
forever." He's the Word. That's sure. He's always the same (See?), and
your spirit has to punctuate that with a
"Amen."

That's the devil's wisdom. That's what it grows. That's the vitamin that's in

"Why, the most modern people of the town will come to the church."
Sure. It's got... Why? They grow in that modern vitamin, reasoning vitamin. All
right, they grow in that. See? That's what it is, reasoning. But as soon as you
start growing in that, you're dead to the Word. You have to
deny the Word before you can be that. See? The only way you can ever be a
sinner is to deny God's Word. What is sin? Unbelief. Unbelief in what? God's Word. See?
You have to deny the Word first.

E-36 Now, you say, "Some people are just
religious." They just quit stealing, quit lying. That's--that's not a
Christian, that's just people pretending. There's
always three classes of people everywhere: that's believers, make-believers,
and unbelievers. You have them in every group. They're--they're always there.
So people just... But profession: come up and say, "Well, I professed
religion a long time ago." Miserable. See?
The thing you want to do is die to
yourself, and then be buried in Christ, and raised with Him in His
resurrection, and set now in heavenly places. See? Then your unbelief passes
away.
How can the Spirit of God dwell in you, and deny the
Word, when the Spirit of God wrote the Word? See, you can't do it. If you deny
the Word, there's something in you tells you it's not so. Then it's unbelief.
You're still in sin. Look at those priests and Pharisees, how religious they
were. Holy men, as we'd call it today, and Jesus said, "You're of your
father, the devil, and his works you do." What? Doubting
the Word. You've kept your traditions, and made the
commandments of God of none effect. Oh!

74 Now, we all know that sin is unbelief. He
that believeth not's condemned already. Now, sin is the attribute of unbelief.
Smoking cigarettes is not a sin. Stealing is not a sin. Lying is not a sin.
Committing adultery's not a sin.
"What is it then?" you'd say.
It's the attributes of unbelief. If you were a believer, you would
not do those things. The reason you do it, proves that you're an unbeliever.
See? There's only two factions, that's, either you are a believer or not a
believer.
And how, always puzzled me, that a man can claim to have
the Holy Spirit in Him and deny the Word of God being true. When
the Holy Spirit Itself wrote the Word of God. And you know He wouldn't
call Hisself wrong. So He wrote the Scriptures, and
He stands by the Scriptures, and God watches over Them
to confirm Them.

would you make God? That's one thing to know that you're a Christian, when you

enemies.

yourself that you love him, regardless of what they do, you still love them (See?),
then you've begin to find...

What is the Seed of God? The promise, Abraham had the seed to
the... What is the Seed now? Christ. Is Christ the Seed of God? Whose Seed is
He if He isn't? All right, all right. He's the Seed of God.
The Seed of God remaineth in him. The
Holy Ghost comes to abide, not from meeting to meeting, but for eternal. Now,
if you want to put that down your Scripture of this, Ephesians 4:30:
"Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby you're sealed until the day of
your redemption." The Seed of God remains in him,
and he cannot sin, because he's borned of God. He
can't disbelieve God's Word.

own life gives you vindication of it; your own group that you're joined with,

Comes by the Spirit. How can you tell people things of the
Spirit that's not born of the Spirit? You have to be born of the Spirit to
understand the things of the Spirit. The... Jesus
said, "The wind bloweth where it listeth; thou cannot tell which way it comes or where it
goes?" See? So is everyone born of the Spirit; they can't tell you. A man that's born of the Spirit don't take no thought; he lets God do the thinking.
