LUKE 2:25

25       And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name [was] Simeon; and the same man [was] just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

LUKE 2:26

26    And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

LUKE 2:27

27    And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

LUKE 2:28

28    Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

LUKE 2:29

29    Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

LUKE 2:30

30    For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

JOHN 7:37

37       In the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

JOHN 7:38

38    He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

JOHN 7:39

39    (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

 PERFECT.FAITH_  JEFF.IN  V-6 N-11  SUNDAY_  63-0825E

48    Now, other words, I'm venturing out, "Well, I'll go. The Bible said, 'Call the elders, let them anoint with oil, and pray over him.' I know I'll go up." And you say, "Well, I'm going to be healed." See, you're making yourself; if you don't watch now, you're going to make yourself just--just worked up. And then when you pass through, you say, "Oh, I--I still don't see..." Well, see, there you was, you didn't have faith.

Your genuine faith will do it right there. Your--your genuine faith will make it so real to you that... Look at that little woman with the blood issue; she said, "If I can only touch the border of His garment, I'll be made well." And as soon as she did it, she said she felt within herself that her blood issue stopped. She actually believed it.

And when she touched It... To prove that it stopped--it stopped, Jesus turned and said, "Who touched Me?" That perfect faith... And that same perfect faith tonight will touch Jesus Christ just as it did then. The woman come with a perfect faith for that time.

51    Now, now, we see at first the disciples didn't have this perfect faith. They didn't have it, because they'd had Christ, walking with Him; but then afterwards, Christ was in them. And so (You see?), it's hard then to have this perfect faith without the Holy Spirit; It has to bring it; It does. Now, you say, "The disciples didn't have perfect faith?" No; for they had an epileptic child there that they were trying to cast this devil out of him, and they couldn't do it.

And the father seen Jesus coming, and he said, "We have brought my son to--to Your disciples, and they could not cure him." See?

And afterwards, the disciples asked Jesus, saying, "Why could not we cure him?"

And Jesus said, "Because, of the lack of faith, of your unbelief." That's right. "Because of your unbelief that..."

ANOINTED.ONES.AT.END.TIME_  JEFF.IN  V-5 N-3  SUNDAY_  65-0725M

53    You said, "It wasn't a revelation." What is faith? Faith is something that's revealed to you, that is not yet, but you believe it will be. Faith is a revelation of the will of God. So by revelation...

And the churches today don't even believe in spiritual revelation. They believe in a dogmatic teaching of some system. "By revelation Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than that of Cain, which God testified he was righteous." Amen. I hope you see that. See where we're living, see the hour?

INVISIBLE.UNION.OF.THE.BRIDE_  SHP.LA  V-2 N-15  THURSDAY_  65-1125

24-1    What is a--what is a revelation? Jesus said, "Upon this Rock I'll build My church, and the gates of hell can't prevail against it." Faith is a revelation, because faith has been revealed to you. Abel, by faith offered by revelation (faith) offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than that of Cain.

Cain thought they eat apples. They still got that idea, but it wasn't. It was adultery: serpent's seed. And there, when the Seven Seals opened, it declared it and proved it. (My book's just out on it. I think we have got a thousand here now. See?) Notice, that's Scripturally from Genesis to Revelations. At the end-time both trees are coming to the seed and proving themselves.

WORKS.IS.FAITH.EXPRESSED_  SHREVEPORT.LA  V-7 N-1  FRIDAY_  65-1126

105    Now, "faith" is a "revelation from God." Now, "faith" is a "revelation." There's where I want to stay there just a moment. It's a revelation. He has revealed it to you by His grace. It's nothing you did. You didn't work yourself up into faith. You never had faith; it's give to you by the grace of God. And God reveals it to you; therefore, faith is a revelation. And the whole Church of God is built upon the revelation.

RAPTURE.THE_  YUMA.AZ  V-5 N-14  SATURDAY_  65-1204

65    But to the church, the Bride, the rapture is a revelation to her. It's revealed to her, that the revelation, the true Bride of Christ will be waiting for that revelation of the rapture.

Now, it is a revelation, for the revelation is faith. You cannot have a revelation without it being faith. Faith is a revelation, because it's something that's revealed to you. Faith is a revelation. Faith is something that has been revealed to you like it was to Abraham, that could call anything contrary to what had been revealed to him as though it wasn't so. Now, faith... That's what faith is, is the revelation of God. The church is built upon a revelation, the whole entire body.

BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-21  SUNDAY_  62-1104M

22-1    Patience, and so forth, there's a mockery of it, a pretending to be, a nature given faith, a nature given virtue. There's a nature given temperance. And all these things are nature given.

And the biggest part of our faith is mental faith. By hearing the Word it brings us to a mental recognition of God. But if this coming from above, oh, brother, if it ever strikes this, there is a godly, spiritual faith. Then what does that faith do? That faith recognizes only the Word. No matter what anything else says, it only recognizes the Word, because "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (And the Word's still God.) And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us." And when the word Itself is pouring into our faith, our mental faith becomes a spiritual revelation. "And upon this foundation I'll build My Church," (See?), not upon a mental conception of church joining, a mental conception of that, but upon the revelation. When them streams of grace has poured into that mental faith that you've got, then upon this, a spiritual revelation, "I'll build My Church and the gates of hell can't prevail against it." See? That shows they would be against it, but it'll never prevail. Oh, what a glorious thing.

BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-21  SUNDAY_  62-1104M

23-4    And then, that was number one. Number one, coming to you, your mental faith, right here, comes the Holy Spirit, coming down into your mental faith making it a spiritual faith. Then the spiritual faith only recognizes the Word.

Now, and number two--three: Then you'll have spiritual, you'll be--have the Holy Spirit, and will seal all these things into you, as that Holy Spirit covers this. From your faith up to the Holy Spirit seals you in with Christ; then you become one. Amen. (Get this thing out of my way. It's hard on your arms.) You become one. See, you and Christ live together. "At that day you'll know that I'm in the Father, the Father in Me, I in you, and you in Me." See? Then that's a sealed unit of the Lord God. Now, and then they are vindicated and placed. When that time takes place, they become vindicated sons and daughters of God.

WHAT.IT.TAKES.TO.OVERCOME.ALL.UNBELIEF_  YAKIMA.WA  FRIDAY_  60-0729

E-7    Now, we--we reason with our mind, but the heart doesn't reason. The heart just believes. We look with our eyes, but we see with our heart. Do you look... You take something complicated, you say, "I just don't see it." You--You mean you don't understand it. See? Your understanding comes from your heart. You have your understanding.

Now, many times, I know all Christians know this, that people will think, "Well, it just can't happen, but yet, in my heart there's something tells me, that it's going to happen." Did you ever have that experience, you Christians? Sure, you have. That's that inside man thinking. It cast down reasons; it doesn't have anything to do with the reasoning, because with--with God, words should not be reasoned. We cannot reason out God. God is never known by science, never is God known by--by mental powers. God is only known by faith. Knowledge will never get a man to God; knowledge takes him away from God.

AT.THY.WORD_  LA.CA  SUNDAY_  51-0506E

E-14    Now, what if he'd have walked away and say, "I... You know, that's mental telepathy. I've got to study that thing out." You'll never figure God out, so you might as well forget about it now. You've got to believe it. God is not known no other way but by faith. You have to accept it.

Then there was a woman coming out from the well to get some water, about eleven o'clock in the day. Probably she'd been out all night and didn't get up early enough. Or maybe she was so ashamed of herself, she didn't go out with the respectable ladies. But she came to get some water from the well. And when she did, why, there Jesus was setting at the well.

And she came up, and He spoke to her, and said, "Bring Me a drink."

And she said, "It is not customary for You to..."

He talked to her a little while, and He said one word, "Go get your husband."

She said, "I don't have any husband."

Said, "You had five."

She said, "I perceive that You're a prophet."

She went into the city and said, "Come and see a Man that told me all the things I ever done." See?

THREE.WITNESSES_  ERIE.PA  SATURDAY_  51-0728

E-16    In the garden of Eden there were two trees, one of them was the knowledge. And the other one the Tree of Life. And when man left the Tree of Life and took the first bite off the tree of knowledge, he separated himself from God. And now he bit off gunpowder, destroys himself. He bit off an electricity, pulling the coal from the earth, where un--beneath it, is eight thousand miles of burning volcano, and these...

Now, he's bit hisself off automobile, kills more people than all the wars. He's got hisself a hydrogen bomb now; I wonder what he's going to do with that. He's still biting from that tree of knowledge. And every time he bites, he just separates himself away, destroys himself.

And God is not known by knowledge, God's known by faith; by faith, you believe. Not try to figure it out, you just believe. And that's the way God is known. God bless you.

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY_  W.PALM.BEACH.FL  TUESDAY_  53-1201

E-13    Now, in the garden of Eden there were two trees. One of them was the tree of knowledge; one was the Tree of Life. And man can never know God by knowledge. So no matter how well you get educated, how smart your pastor is, how many degrees he's taken, you can't... God is not known by education, neither is He known by scientific research; the only way God is known is by faith. No matter if you don't know the difference between split beans and coffee, if you absolutely by faith accept God and... It's bound to be an act of faith.

And when man was eating on this Tree of Life, he had Eternal Life. But when he left that Tree of Life and went on the tree of knowledge, the first bite he took, he separated his fellowship with God, and every time that he bites off of that tree of knowledge, he destroys himself.

CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0728

45-1    Notice, God holds this key alone. No theologian can tell you. It's not known; it's hid from them. They know nothing about it. So the schools... "Well," you say, "I got a Ph. LL.D." You only make... To me and I believe unto God and to any real, true believer, that means you're just that much farther away; you just backed off. God is not known by education; He's not known by how to explain it.

God is known by simplicity and of revelation of Jesus Christ in the most illiterate person. See? Not your theology; it's a revelation of Jesus Christ. "Upon this rock, I'll build My Church." No other rock's accepted; no other thing's accepted; no other Roman rock; no other Protestant rock; no other school; no other nothing; but on exactly the revelation of Jesus Christ in a new birth. He born in there and injects His own Life, and your life is gone, and the Life of Christ is projecting Itself through you with the preeminences to the people that they see the very Life, and works, and signs and wonders that He did is doing the same thing through you. Outside of that, the rest of it's not even called to at all.

EXPECTATION_  SHAWANO.WI  SATURDAY_  55-1001

E-24    Now, God is not known by intellectual faith. God is known by the experience of new birth, only alone. Jesus said, "Except a man be born again of the Spirit of God, he cannot even see the Kingdom of God." Now, any Bible scholar here knows that the word "see" there does not mean "look with your eye." It means "understand."

You--you say, "I... Looking at something or other, say, "I just don't see it." You mean; you don't understand it; you're looking right at it. You look with your eyes, but understand with your heart. That's right. You can't understand it. And no man can know nothing of God, until first you're borned of the Spirit of God.

The Bible said, "No man can call Jesus, Christ." Only by the Holy Spirit is the only thing that... You can say, "Well, I believe He's the Son of God." If you haven't been born again, you're taking somebody's word for it. You say, "The Bible said so." That's right; the Bible's right, but what about you? You say, "The preacher said so." The preacher's right, but what about you? "Mother said so." Mother's right, but what about you? It's a personal experience of your own that you've got to be borned again or you'll never understand God.

UNFAILING.REALITIES.OF.GOD_  JEFF.IN  V-16 N-1  SUNDAY_  60-0626

74    The Holy Spirit comes today in like manner to present God to man; but man wants to go to church. It--it--it drowns his--his--his thinking. He cannot--he cannot fathom it. And we must learn that God is not known by intellectual conception. God is known by the new birth, by the Holy Ghost, not by any other way. Jesus, the Bible has plainly quoted us that, "No man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost." And if you've never received the Holy Ghost, you don't know that He is the Christ, for that's the only way He reveals Himself.

You're not converted until you receive the Holy Ghost. The Bible said so. After Peter had both been saved and sanctified, give power to cast out unclean spirits, and to preach the Gospel, Jesus plainly told him he was not converted, until he received the Holy Ghost. And He said, "After you're converted, then strengthen your brethren." That was on the night of the betrayal, that he was not yet converted. And no man is truly converted until he's been changed, and died to himself, and the Holy Spirit has control of that person. They don't want to do it.

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY.FELLOWSHIP_  KLAMATH.FALLS.OR  SATURDAY_  60-0709

E-32    We'll never be able to ever educate people to Christ. Societies today (and most what we call societies) has produced more criminals than all the--the scalawags of the earth has done. The most criminal minded people comes out of what is known now as society, according to the FBI records. Now... And then educate them? They get so smart till they think they can outsmart the law; they know more than somebody else. Education is wonderful. It's the thing...

I'm not trying to support ignorance, but I'm trying to say this: That education has... It's been one of the greatest hindrance that religion of Christ has ever had. People are taking and using their schools of theology to try to educate people for well speaking, and how to present themselves, and so forth; and they go plumb away from the Spirit. God is not known by education; God is not known by denomination; God is not known by creed. God is known by faith and that alone! It's by faith are we saved. God is known by faith.

PATMOS.VISION_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 69-130  SUNDAY_  60-1204E

71    Now, ask God to... While we're talking on Revelations, ask Him to give you a revelation of this. For it can only be known by revelation, and you can only be saved by revelation. You have a knowledge of it intellectually, but you can't be saved until it's revealed to you. "No man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost." That's what the Bible says. No man can say Jesus is the Christ until he has received the Holy Ghost. He might say, "The pastor said so; the Bible said so." Them are true. "The church says so." That is true. But you don't know yourself until the Holy Ghost has revealed it to you, and He's become in you. "No man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost." Not by knowledge, not by intellectual.
