  298    Guarding this gate... Cain and Abel come up here to worship. So it must've been an altar that they guard (Is that right?), these Cherubims.

Another thing, notice here's another evidence. Cain... Watch the Bible now. I'd have you to turn to it, but never mind; you get it in Genesis. All right, watch. Cain went out. Cain went out from the Presence of the Lord from the gate at the garden. So the Presence of the Lord must've been at the altar, and the altar was at the gate. Glory. Oh. All right. It's God's dwelling place at His altar.

Now, Cain went out from the Presence of the Lord, from this place. You want to put it down? Genesis 4:16, if you want to put it down. Now, now, you got all that, have you, wrote down?

And the Messenger went down there to preach to these people to bring them out, and in this last day the messenger that's sent to those Sodomites, and to call them people out of those places down there, is called G-r-a-h-a-m? Not B-i double l, y S-u-n-d-a-y, Sunday, but G-r-a-h-a-m: a messenger. Show me one ecclesiastical messenger stands in his place today. There's not nowhere on the earth to the Christian church, like Billy Graham. What's he doing? Screaming, "Come out of that thing. Separate yourself," with a word of justification, to call them out and separate them.

Let's take Genesis now, 4.

Now, watch the first thing he done. (You tell me when you think we got enough here, 'cause I just stop on this anywhere. See?) "Cain went out from the Presence of the Lord." There he made his mistake. And there's where you'll make a mistake, and there's where I'll make the mistake, the very minute we walk out of the Presence of God.

Cain went... from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

  147    Now, notice, as soon as they went out from the Presence of the Lord, they started building cities; they started making instruments; they started in science to making brass and iron, and--and playing music, and so forth. See, see? Now, where did it come from? Who went out? Cain, the serpent's seed. You understand it? Cain went out. And notice, he went out from the Presence of the Lord, and started working in science.

Now, look where he's still working (See?): science, education, cities, culture. It's of the Devil. Who started it? The Devil. Who is it of today? The Devil. Atomic bombs and things to destroy us with... We live in it. We have to live here. We are a being; we have to stay here. But God's great civilization won't have any of that in it. See? And science is taking--is taking the natural things and perverting it to do things that it wasn't intended to do.
