WHY.ARE.WE.NOT.A.DENOMINATION?_  JEFF.IN  V-11 N-7  SATURDAY_  58-0927

180    Now, if you ever notice, watch these church ages; then we'll close. And then in the morning we're going to pick up these other things. Watch. In the... Under the--the golden candlesticks of the Jewish tabernacle in the inside, of the shewbread and so forth, there was seven golden candlesticks. All of you know that. See? There's seven church ages. That speaks of seven church ages alike.

Now if you notice in Revelations 1, we find Jesus standing in the seven church ages, the seven golden candlesticks, when he turned and saw One like the Son of man standing clothed with a... How it was, it was a Bride standing in the candlesticks drawed out.

Now, in the Old Testament, they would take these, this one candle and light it, take the other candle and light off of that one, light off of that one, one off the other one like that, till they made the entire seven candlesticks.

49-4 PATMOS.VISION -CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.2 THE GOLDEN LAMPSTANDS

Revelation 1:12, "And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks." John does not say that he turned to see the one whose voice he heard, but he turned to see the voice. Oh, I like that. He turned to see the voice. The voice and the person are one and the same. Jesus is the WORD. John 1:1-3, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made." If you can ever get to really see the Word you will be seeing Jesus.

SEVEN.CHURCH.AGES_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-2  WEDNESDAY_  54-0512

204    Now, that's the Bible. That's what the Spirit said. See? The candlesticks... All right. Now, the 13th verse.

And in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks one like the Son of man...

What? One like Him. Who was this? His Bride. One like Him, watch how it was.

... clothed with a garment down to the foot...

The holiness of Jesus Christ covering Her. Has washed us from our sins, with His Own Blood. All right.

... girded about the paps... (not a man; a woman)... with a golden girdle... (The Gospel that held the power and glory of God over the Body of Christ.)

Oh, what a beautiful picture we got here under consideration. Looky here.

... down to the foot, and a gird about the paps with a golden girdle.

His head and his hair was white as wool... white as snow... (Righteousness, holiness, white speaks of...); and his eyes like flames of fire; (Looks right through us.)

Don't try to hide from Him. He knows who you are, where you are, and what you done. Yes, sir. He sees everything. Oh, God...

We got just a few minutes left, to get to this other church age, if we can. Notice.

And his feet were like fine brass...

52-4 PATMOS.VISION  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.2

NO LONGER THE PRIEST

Revelation 1:13, "And in the midst of the seven candlesticks One like unto the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle."

53-1 PATMOS.VISION  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.2

There He stands, One like unto the Son of Man. As the jewel is beautified by the mounting of the ring, so He is glorified in the midst of the churches. It is the Lord's Day; for John sees Him standing, not as a priest, but as the coming Judge. The golden girdle is no longer girt around the waist where the priest must wear it as he ministers to God in the Holiest Place, but it is now around His shoulders, for He is not now the priest but the JUDGE. Now has John 5:22 come to pass, "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son." His service has been rendered. The priesthood is over. The days of the prophecy are finished. He stands girded as the JUDGE.

UNCERTAIN.SOUND_  JEFF.IN  V-16 N-3  SUNDAY_  60-1218

385    What did we find the revelation was the other night in the apocalypse, the apocalypse means? A sculptor, it was done down here, making something; and then what he does, he just takes the curtain out, said, "There it is."

What was He redoing here? He was revealing Himself in another fashion? What was He in? A glorified, transfigured condition, His coming, the way He's coming: a glorified Christ, transformed. His raiment shined like the sun. My. Oh, He stood in the cloud; and He's coming in the clouds of glory. Overshadowed by a cloud; not a little white thunderhead up yonder, but the cloud that He comes in is a cloud of glory, all these Angels with Him. Hallelujah. My, that's the way He's coming, coming in a cloud of glory.

EASTER.SEAL_  PHOENIX.AZ  V-2 N-6  SATURDAY_  65-0410

37-6    Oh, my. What do you say... I heard a guy say the other day, "You people, why, if you have this kind of power, you ought to go out and tell people what you can do." Far be it from a real Christian saying a thing like that. See? Surely, we don't claim no power to... but we do one thing.

When they looked around with all this power upon them, they saw Jesus only; and the real true believer don't care whether he's backing up a denomination or nothing about it. He only wants one thing: for you to see that glorified Christ. Makes any difference, a real true Mount Transfiguration experience only glorifies Jesus Christ.

He didn't glorify Moses, didn't glorify Elijah, didn't glorify themselves, didn't glorify nothing else, but they seen the glorified Christ; and any true believer, that's what's in his heart: to glorify Jesus Christ. That's what He's trying to get the people to see. Not say, "Well, if you come and join our groups... If you come do this or do that..." Oh, don't do that. Don't do that. See God's Word, which is Christ magnified and fulfilled the promise of this day, in this great hour of resurrection... Notice, and it gives them joy to know that we are with Him, of flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. What a joy.

SEAL.OF.GOD_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-4  FRIDAY_  54-0514

45    Now, for just a little background to start off tonight with The Seal of God...

Don't forget, tomorrow night, we want you to get your questions. And write it out plainly, and lay it up on the platform, early, or on the pulpit, early as you can.

Now, this great subject we had last night... The first night, before last, was the Church and the church age, how that we seen Jesus standing in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks, to look upon as Jasper and Sardius stone, the Beginning and the Ending, Reuben and Benjamin. See the seven candlesticks, or seven lampstands standing, and a rainbow over it as a covenant, and how He was--appeared. And His Voice was the Voice of many waters: both Christ and the Church speaking together; with a golden girdle around about the breast part of the Church, covered over, holding, the Gospel holding the righteousness of Christ over the Church. Standing on the brass foundation, Divine judgment, God poured out His Divine judgment upon Christ, and He suffered, the Innocent for the guilty.

15-3 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1

Now remember this. Christ in the True Church is a continuation of the Book of Acts. But the Book of Revelation shows how that the antichrist spirit would come into the church and defile it, making it lukewarm, formal and powerless. It exposes Satan, revealing his works (attempted destruction of God's people and the discrediting of God's word) right down to the time he is cast into the lake of fire. He fights that. He cannot stand it. He knows that if the people get the TRUE REVELATION of the TRUE CHURCH and what she is, what she stands for and that SHE CAN DO THE GREATER WORKS, she will be an invincible army. If they get a true revelation of the two spirits within the framework of the Christian church, and by God's Spirit discern and withstand the antichrist spirit, Satan will be powerless before her. He will be as definitely thwarted today as when Christ withstood his every effort to gain power over Him in the desert. Yes, Satan hates revelation. But we love it. With true revelation in our lives, the gates of hell cannot prevail against us, but we will prevail over them.
