23-1    But what He wanted to do, He loved Fatherhood, for He was a Father. And the only way that He could express it was to become a Son of man. That's the reason Jesus kept saying, "The Son of man." See, they didn't know what He was talking about, many of them. But now you get it? He wanted to express Hisself. That was His, one of His great threefold purposes, was to express Himself, identify Himself with human beings, to reveal Hisself in Christ.

E-40    Now, let's take secondly, quickly, so we can get to it: God in His Word. How many believes God's in His universe? All right. You can see Him in His universe. Let's see if He's in His Word.

He said, "My Word is Life." Truly, Life... Now, the only thing, the Word... The letter killeth; the Spirit giveth Life.

What I trust now with all my heart, that God will quicken ("Quicken" means "make alive."), quicken the Word to you now by His Spirit.

Jesus said, "A sower went forth and sowed seeds. And while he slept, another sower came by and sowed tares." And He went ahead and told the parable. The disciples could not understand Him. Jesus explained to them. He said, "The sower is the Son of man. The field is the earth. And the Seed is the Word of God." Amen. Notice, "The Seed is the Word of God." If it's... Whatever God's Word says, It's a seed.

E-35    Esau and Jacob, why, Esau was move of gentlemen looking than Jacob was, but Jacob had recompense to the reward. He believed in that birthright, and he held on to it regardless. There you are.

We can take Israel. When Israel was coming up... Look at these two vines now. I'm bringing them from Genesis, and as they go up.

Now, Christians here, there's many a Lutheran setting here, Baptist, don't condemn them people, they--they lived in their age. Jesus said, "Every Word of God is a Seed." Is that right? A sower went forth sowing seed. He said, "I, the Son of man, has sowed the Seed, and the seed's the Word of God." And every time you see this Bible say anything, it's a Seed, and it's absolutely... And we're sowed with the incorruptible Seed of God. And if a man will take any Divine promise of God in his heart and water it with faith, it'll produce just exactly what it said it would do. Amen. Don't care what it is. Just take God's promise in your heart and there...

125    Heavenly Father, so much could be said. That's enough. I'll stop. Lord God, Who made the promise, come on the scene, Lord. Reveal it. Our flesh is no good. Our flesh is weak, and it's--it's poorly, Lord. There's not that there be anybody worthy; we're not worthy, Lord. But You promised it, and the hour is here. The Word stands before us. Walk down with us, Lord, tonight and do something like You did it when You was back there on the earth two thousand years ago, that this church might know tonight that You live forevermore, that You're the same yesterday, today, and forever, and have promised the works that You did would be repeated again. The Son of man would be revealed in the last days as it was at Sodom. Lord, You never mentioned that about Lot--about Noah. You never mentioned it to be revealed at Noah's time, but said as it was at Sodom, when the Son of man is revealed. Oh, can...

Lord, let Bible readers here tonight see that truth. Let them see that Malachi 4, that this anointing is supposed to come, and to restore back again that faith that the fathers once seen, the revelation of God in Christ. Now, may they see the revelation of God in human beings, Christ manifested in the flesh of His church, walking among us. Grant it, Lord. The promises You made; and the promises You'll keep. And I commit myself with the Word, with the church, with all to you now, in Jesus Christ's Name.
