II PETER 1:1-5

1     ¶  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

II PETER 1:2

2    Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

II PETER 1:3

3    According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

II PETER 1:4

4    Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

II PETER 1:5

  5     ¶  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

I PETER 1:18

  18    Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;

I PETER 1:19

19    But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

I PETER 1:20

20    Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

I PETER 1:21

21    Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

I PETER 1:22

22    Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY_  W.PALM.BEACH.FL  TUESDAY_  53-1201

E-19    And then, just by accepting it won't only do, God's got to vindicate back that He has accepted you. That's the thing. You can accept Him, but then if He accepts you. Stay right there until He does accept you. And then when He does, He seals you into His Kingdom by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Then you have, you're secure until the day of redemption. That's right.

"Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you're sealed (until the next revival, no, huh-uh,) until the day of redemption." Is that right? There's no ups-and-downs, ins-and-outs; you really get into God. If you're really in Him, not just impersonating something, but you're really in Christ, you're one alternative, your whole heart's sold out; every bridge is burnt behind you; and you got your affections set on things which are above; and you run the race with patience that's set before you. Amen.

GOD'S.COVENANT.WITH.ABRAHAM_  SIOUX.FALLS.SD  THURSDAY_  56-0223

E-40    Oh, that's enough to make a Baptist shout, isn't it? When you think of it, already finished. What's finished? Our complete ticket all the way to glory. It was wrote out at Calvary in the Blood of Jesus. And God called you how? You never called God; God called you. And He accepted you, and He give you the ticket. Hallelujah. Just on a road, that's all. We could stand now and all sing:

I am bound for the promise land,

Who will come and go with me?

I'm bound for the promised land.

LAW.HAVING.A.SHADOW_  CHICAGO.IL  THURSDAY_  56-0621

E-46    If there's one thing you could do to merit it, you'd have something to brag about it. "Lord, I've sought You day and night." But you can't say that to Him. He said, "No man can come to Me except My Father draws him." And God seeks man and not man seeking God. So you don't have one thing to say, but, "God it was Your grace that did it." And there, as long you're accepted in the Beloved, how can God bring you into judgment, when He's already judged Christ in your stead?

How could you have to suffer for your sins, when Christ has already done it? God would be a two-timer and a awful person (That's right.), when it was thoroughly paid by Jesus Christ and you accepted it. And as long as God accepted Christ, He accepted you with Christ. And when He did He do it? Before the foundation of the world, when He spoke it into existence, He spoke you redeemed with Him.

And your names was written in the Lamb's Book of Life before the foundation of the world, and then you're scared. Whew. "Oh, if I could just keep holding on." I quit that a long time ago. I never did even try it in the first place. I just turned loose and let Him do the holding.

Someone said when I was sick that time, when I got over it, said, "Brother Branham, did you keep your religion during your sick spell?"

I said, "No, sir, it kept me." That's the difference. And that's what happened.

FUTURE.HOME_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-5  SUNDAY_  64-0802

39-3    Heavens and earth have met. God and man is reconciled. A restored Eden has begun. See? All the curse is gone, just like all the curse of sin is gone when the Holy Ghost accepts you. See, you don't accept It; It accepts you, 'cause it's God's attribute. See, if It's the Holy Ghost, means God's Spirit, and it's the attribute, the thought of God has accepted you, because that you were ordained for that purpose.

See, yet you was borned in sin, but God had that attribute, and here you expressed yourself here on earth, and He comes down and gets you. See you're back here; here's where you belong. See, see? Sin's lost its power. Amen. That's right. The desire of sin has done gone from your heart when the Holy Spirit comes in. You are a restored person. And then when the earth is restored by the same thing, there can be no more cursing, no more storms, no more winds, no more taphoons--typhoons, rather; you're reconciled. Man and God has met.

LEADERSHIP_  COVINA.CA  V-7 N-7  TUESDAY_  65-1207

142    Now, to refuse that Person that's doing the calling, Christ, no matter if you're Pentecostal, Methodist, Luther, whatever you are, you got to... This age... Nothing against them, not at all, but in this age now you've got to accept like they did in that age the Person of Christ which is the Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwell among us, the same yesterday, today, and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8) See? You must accept that Person of Eternal Life.

THIRD.SEAL.THE_  JEFF.IN  WEDNESDAY_  63-0320

237-2  {54}    And now, we find out then that these mysteries are supposed to be revealed. And why didn't these other men, Wesley, Luther, and those great reformers who brought out justification, and sanctification, the Pentecostal age with the baptism of the Holy Spirit and things, why didn't he catch these--these messages? Why didn't they get them? Because they were reformers. See?

Just like, take it on the other side, there was people come in who was--had power as kings but wasn't kings. See, see? You have to notice the Bible terminology of anything. See? Now, watch. But these--the reason that all the stray ends of the mysterious part about justification, the mysterious part of sanctification, the mysterious part of the baptism of the Holy Ghost and why... What kind did... Did Eve eat an apple, or did she eat a pomegranate or something? See? Did... What was the serpent's seed? And--and... Is the baptism in the Name of the Father, Son, Holy Ghost, or the Name of the Lord Jesus right? And oh, a hundreds of those things that has been left loose-ended. See?
