«  E-38       †        Now, when it become a son, when he was adopted into the same family he was borned in... Now, listen, Presbyterian friend, Methodist, and Baptist, and Pentecostal, when you're born again, that only puts you in the family. It's your character, your conduct that gives God confidence in you. The reason that we haven't got the great church marching on today, is because God can't find people to put His confidence in. The Holy Spirit keeps saying, "They're tearing up; they're breaking up; they're doing this; they're off on the lines." Stay with God's Word. That's God's Truth; that's the Pattern; that's the Blueprint.

That's the reason the church today has got all kinds of isms and everything in it, is because they don't stay with the Word. They won't listen to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit won't testify of one other thing but God's Word. That's exactly right.

57-0519A  HEAR.YE.HIM_  SASKATOON.SK  SUNDAY_

«  E-39       †        Now, I want you to notice. What a beautiful thing, when this son was adopted, and the ceremony was said, and the people stood by to witness, then that father adopting that son into his own family, to which he was borned... See now? You're born, when you are borned again in the Spirit of God, then you are adopted or placed into the body of Christ, positionally.

And with the--this adoption taken place, that boy's name was just as good on the check as his daddy's was. Everything the father had was his. Read the Old Testament adoption laws and find out if that's right or not. It certainly is. That son could walk down the street, and this fellow wasn't doing right, he could say, "Here. Straighten up." That meant so if he fired the man, he was fired. If he wrote a check and paid this off, the bank will recognize the check. Just his name was just as good as his father after he'd been adopted, not because he was born, because he was adopted or placed.

And God's trying today to make His church stand still long enough that He could place them into their position. But men teachers are making it, "Oh, hallelujah, we're all this. We're all that." Oh, my, what a conglomeration, a mess is done. It's a placing.

«  E-6       †        Now, that's the Gospel, friends, as clear as I know it. Now, it's the individual. Now, maybe say, "Well, what's the use in preaching?" That's what a minister's for. God sent preachers to preach the Word. When you hear It, search it, see it's the truth, accept it. Now, the preacher doesn't save you. His message doesn't save you. Your personal faith in a risen Lord Jesus is what saves you. No matter how much you'd cry. How loud you would holler. How much you would take on. It'll never save you until you believe it with all your heart, and stand up, and confess it. For He's the High Priest of our confession, Hebrews 3, or what we confess He's the High Priest to make intercessions upon what we confess is the truth.

Anything that was included in the atonement is the personal property of every believer. When a man gets saved or a women, boy, or girl, God gives them a checkbook, as it was, with Jesus' Name at the bottom of every check for anything redemptive blessing that Jesus died for. It's your personal property. Don't be afraid to fill it out. The Bank of Heaven will recognize it.

Jesus said, "Whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe you receive it. Whatever you ask the Father in My Name that I will do," the unlimited unsearchable riches of Jesus Christ in that promise.

61-0209  JEHOVAH.JIREH_  LONG.BEACH.CA  THURSDAY_

«  E-45       †        When God saves a man, He gives him a whole big checkbook. Now at the bottom it's got everything... the Name of Jesus wrote on it at the bottom of the checkbook. "Whatever you ask in My Name, that will I do." Abraham's seed believes that. Just fill out the check and send it in. The deposit's already made. It's in the bank.

How did it come through? Not through your righteousness, but through the righteousness of the righteous royal Seed, Christ. He was the one put the deposit in there. The deposit's in the bank. I believe it, don't you? Then don't be afraid to write out the check. The bank will pay it off. The Bank of Heaven will pay off every check. Yes, sir.

First thing it has to go through the clearing house. That's right, to see if you really believe it or not. If you believe it, it'll pass the clearing house, don't worry about that. And the funds will return to you just as soon as she passes through the clearing house. That's right. If down in your heart you truly believe that's the promise of God, and you've accepted it in your heart, asked for it in the Name of Jesus Christ, it's coming back. God promised so. That's a heir. We're heirs of salvation and joint-heirs with Him. And we're heirs with Abraham, because we are Abraham's seed.

60-0806  HEAR.YE.HIM_  YAKIMA.WA  SATURDAY_

«  E-54       †        Now, listen now, the brethren's setting here, if that boy was a good boy, there come a certain day (Oh, my.), a certain day, till there was a ceremony held for that boy. And that boy was taken out into the public square and was put on a certain royal robe. And they performed, the father did, performed the performance of adoption. And he adopted his own son, that had been born.

Now, when you receive the Holy Ghost, that's one thing you're born, but now for the ceremony of adoption. Then he adopted this boy into his family, and they had a ceremony. Now, if they'd write checks, anything that boy did, was just as good--his name was just as good on the check as his father's, after that adoption. He was heir after the adoption.

60-0806  HEAR.YE.HIM_  YAKIMA.WA  SATURDAY_

«  E-55         Well, that's where the church needs to be tonight. It needs to be to a place that God will call you off somewhere, and throw His glory over you, spread His power upon you, adopt you and place you (glory,) into the body where when you speak, something happens. That's what the church is needing tonight. But if we--our character goes down instead of going up, how's He going to do it? We've got to continue to believe every work of God, and seek after righteousness, and do that which is right in the sight of God, daily calling on Him, and daily about His work, getting others to come into church, trying to get somebody to come serve the Lord. All the people you work for, the milkman, the--the postal man, and--and the--the ice man, and whoever it is, all you come in contact with, speak to them about the Lord. Speak it with seasonable words, sweetly, that--don't jump onto them; just speak it with sweetness, that they'll say, "Say, that lady's a real lady. She spoke to me about the Lord. That man, I've never seen such a man. He's the nicest man I ever met. You know, I'd like to have his religion."

That's what they think about his religion. But a religion is a covering. That's right. And our covering is not, "We are Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal." Our covering is the Blood of Jesus Christ. That's our covering, our religion.

57-0519A  HEAR.YE.HIM_  SASKATOON.SK  SUNDAY_

«  E-40       †        Now, watch. God never did anything 'less He asked man to do, but what He did Himself. His Son, when He was borned here on earth, He was an obedient Son. Every step was for the Father. Everything He done was to glorify God. And we seen God in Christ. Is that right? "No man has seen the Father at any time, but the only begotten of the Son has declared Him." The very move, the very action, everything that Christ did was God working in Him. You get it now?

Now, watch what takes place. Then God takes His Son after a long life, just before Calvary, and He taken Him up on a high mountain in a public place. He brought the heavenly witnesses down. He brought the earthly witnesses up. And there God took His Son, and when they looked up, they saw a cloud that overshadowed them. And a... Jesus' raiment shined like the sun in the midst of the day. What was it? God put a robe on Him, just like the old adoption said. He robed Him in a glorified condition. No wonder He said, "All powers in heavens and earth is given to My hands." He robed Him and He placed Him. And then He said, "This is My beloved Son; hear ye Him." Then He had the powers of heavens and earth was given unto His hands.

58-0126  HEAR.YE.HIM_  WATERLOO.IA  SUNDAY_

«  E-24       Now, if this child was obedient, there was a ceremony to be made, when the child become matured. They taken him out in a public place... Listen close; don't miss this. Watch the Scripture. They taken the child out into a public place, placed a robe upon him, a royal robe, and they had a ceremony. And it was the ceremony of adoption. The child that had been borned into the family, become placed by adoption in the family. And after that, that boy's name was just as good on a check as his daddy's was. He was heir of all things. He could take out; he could put up; he could fire; he could hire. He could do whatever he pleased to do, because the ceremony of adoption had been made upon his son, and he was clothed and was set in order.

Now, there's where the Church ought to be today. Jesus said, "These things that I do, shall you do also. Ask anything in My Name, I'll do it." Why we scared of that? What's the matter? If Christ has clothed us with the Holy Spirit, and been adopted into the family after being borned again, and been baptized into the body by the Holy Spirit, if it's a true witness of God, ask what you will and it'll be done for you. Then we set like, say, "Oh , well, that was something else."

57-0105  HEAR.YE.HIM_  CLEVELAND.TN  SATURDAY_

«  E-49       †        Now, God didn't ask men to do anything that He didn't do Himself. So He goes up on the mountain, taken a witness of earth and a witness of heaven. And He took His own beloved Son and stood Him out before the witness of the earth and the witnesses of heaven, and glorified Him. And His raiment shined like the sun.

That's that royal robe, that the father in the Old Testament, placed on his son, and stood before the crowd, and adopted, or placed his son positionally over everything he had.

And God took His Son, with witnesses of heaven, and witnesses of earth, and on Mount Transfiguration, placed Him and overshadowed Him. And He said, "This is My beloved Son. Hear ye Him."

Peter got all excited, like we do lots of times. He said, "Lord, You know, this is a good religious ground that we're standing on. You know what we ought to do? We ought to build a tabernacle here for Moses. All them that wants to keep the law, they can belong to that denomination. And we ought to build a tabernacle for Elijah. And all that wants that can--that denomination can go to it. And then, we'll build one for You. And all that wants to go to You..."

God said, "Away with such stuff. This is My beloved Son. Hear ye Him."

61-0317  ABRAHAM'S.GRACE.COVENANT_  MIDDLETOWN.OH  FRIDAY_

«  E-56       †        Go back in Galatians the 4th chapter and pick it up there. Paul talking now. He placed that son. What did he do? He had a ceremony of adoption placing that son. And then after he seen that son was going to do it, he's going to keep the promise, nobody's going to keep him from it, he's just like his daddy, he's going to stay right with it (Cut and let the chips fall wherever they want to.), he pulls no punches... And he says, "I can put trust in that boy." So he forms... performs adoption. And what does he do? After he performed the adoption, that child is a placed son then in the father's kingdom and has full, equal rights to it. In otherwise, if he wrote a check, his name is just as good on the check, as his daddy's was. Then he's adopted, or placed.

God did the same thing to Jesus upon Mount Transfiguration when He... What did He do? He overshadowed Him, taken Him up in a public place, taken three witness: Peter, James, and John. Brought two witnesses from heaven to show... Three is a witness. And when He overshadowed Him and His raiment, His pretty robe before Him, the glorified condition, shined like the sun in it's strength. Is that right? And a Voice came from heaven said, "This is My beloved Son, hear ye Him." Amen. "I've placed Him positionally. That's My Son. What He says, I'll back up. He's kept My Word. He's fought through all these denominations and everything else and kept the faith. He's pulled no punches. He been true. He's always about My work. When people look at Him, they see Me. This is My Son, hear ye Him."

62-1104M  BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_  JEFFERSONVILLE.IN  V-3 N-21  SUNDAY_

«  153       †          Do you remember, over in the Book of Matthew, the 17th chapter, the 1st to the 5th verse, Jesus on Mount Transfiguration?

154    You've heard Hear Ye Him. The sermon I just, here about a year ago, preached, become so popular, Hear Ye Him. The placing of a son, in Ephesians 1:5 also, "God has predestinated us unto adoption of sons."

155    See, a family, when a son is born into it, it's a son then. But that son had tutors to raise it. And if that son never did come to--to be the right kind of a son, he never become heir. But if he was the right son, and the son that would obey his father, then that son was adopted, or placed positionally. He become heir of what the father had.

156    And that's what God was doing on Mount Transfiguration. When He took His Own Son, after He had been proven to be the right Son, see, and had stood all temptations, He took Him up on Mount Transfiguration and overshadowed Him.

62-1104M  BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_  JEFFERSONVILLE.IN  V-3 N-21  SUNDAY_

«  157       †          You know, in the Old Testament, they took a son, dressed him in a nice, pretty garment, and set him out before the public. And they had a ceremony of placing, or we call it adopting. In Galatians there, I kind of think Paul refers to it as adopting sons. Now, but, placing a son, ministers will understand, and spiritual, Bible readers, of placing this son. In other words, the son was a son when he was born.

158    There is where our Pentecostal people made their mistake. Being born into the family, by the Holy Ghost, that's right, but then we must be the right kind of children, tutored by the right Tutor. See?

62-1104M  BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_  JEFFERSONVILLE.IN  V-3 N-21  SUNDAY_

«  165       †          Moses represented the law. The prophets represented His justice. We could not live by His law. We could not live by His justice. I don't ask justice. I want mercy, not justice. I can't keep His law, and I can't meet His justice. But I need His mercy. And God said the law and justice has been met in Him. "He's My beloved Son. Hear ye Him. That's Him. That's the One."

166    Now, in the Old Testament when that son was adopted, or placed into the family, his name was just as good on the check as his daddy's was. Yes, sir. They didn't have a... They had a ring, them days, a--a sign, signet. And they'd... [Brother Branham makes a spitting sound and hits the pulpit--Ed.] Spit on it, place it, there was a signet. That was just as... He wore his daddy's ring, his signet. And that was just as good as his daddy's.

167    Now, when Jesus had been obedient, Jesus to God, God placed Him positionally, "This is Him."

168    Now, when the member is born by the Holy Ghost into the family of God and has proven to have these virtues in him, that God can see virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, and godliness, in him, then God seals him, or places him. And, there, that's when you see the sons and daughters of God.

57-0310E  HEAR.YE.HIM_  PHOENIX.AZ  SUNDAY_

«  E-34       †        So if a man disagrees with you, yet a Christian brother, what difference does that make? If we're real children we'll be loving one another, taking up for one another, helping one another, standing together. If one of the brothers get out of line then the whole group ought to go and say, "Now, wait a minute, brother, (See?) come here." See? That's what we ought to do.

Now. Then--then when that son was adopted or placed positionally into the--the--the kingdom, he was a coheir. He was just as much authority as what the--his father had. He could bind, turn loose, do whatever he wished to, because he had already been recognized and adopted and positionally placed under the authority.
