of the Bible, here somewhere, and over in the Gospels. And Jesus, after He made
an ending of His speech, He said, "Today, that, these
words is fulfilled..."
Now, Christ, in His beginning, the beginning of His ministry; was
born, of course, in the world, the Son of God. And He was born Jesus the Lord.
And then after eight days of His circumcision, He was given... Now, He was born Christ the Lord, rather, and was given the Name of Jesus.
Jesus was His given Name. Christ was His title of what He was. He was the
Christ, the Anointed of God, when He was born.

oh, many. He's got seven compound redemptive Names. He's got many titles: Rose

but He's got one human Name. God only had one Name, and that was the Lord Jesus
Christ.
When He was born Christ the Lord, eight days later the
Holy Spirit called His Name Jesus. His mother had Him circumcised, and called
Him Jesus. He was borned a Christ, like I was borned a Branham. I was a Branham when I was born and given the name of
William. Amen. And He was born Christ the Saviour,
and when He was eight days old He was given the Name of Jesus. And He was the
Lord of glory made manifest, so He is the Lord Jesus Christ, the God of glory
made manifest among us. Oh, there He is.

people. Little Jehovah crying like a baby, God made flesh in a
Package. God, Who covers all space and time, was before there was a world, or a

manger in a stable, where the manures of the cattle and sheep, and things up
over that stable, and in this little manger, on straw or hay. Jehovah was
laying there, crying like a baby. Can you imagine it?

jurisdiction of this audience this morning like that God had over the human
race, and I said, "The first man looks at that post dies," and Tommy
Hicks looks at it? Now, for instance, I say, "Brother Carlson, you die for
him." That wouldn't be just. I'd say, "Leo, you're my secretary; you
die for him." That wouldn't be just. "Billy Paul, my son, you die for
him." That isn't just. The only way I can be just is take his place
myself, and that's what God did.
He, God is a Spirit, and He created... He--He changed His cast. It
ought to be striking to people to think of little Jehovah. He could've
come a full-grown man, but He come into a manger over a manure pile: Little
Jehovah crying like a baby, little Jehovah playing like a boy, little Jehovah
carpenter like a workman, little Jehovah in the teen-age, Jehovah, hanging
between heavens and earth with gobs of drunken slobbers and spits of soldiers
upon His face, Jehovah dying for His children, Jehovah dying to redeem, Not
another person, but God Himself. See? God--that was His office.
Why? He's trying to get back to the heart of man.

E-23 Now therefore, His loving character of
love, oh, for us, it--it makes plain John 3:16, "For God so loved the
world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but would have Eternal Life." God,
projecting Himself, and become man that He might have upon Him the form of His
creation. In other words He changed His tent. He spread it amongst human
beings. And the infant Jehovah, crying in a manger, could you imagine it? It
ought to alarm the hearts of believers. And that was all done...
Could you imagine Jehovah, being a baby in a--in a
manger, in a--in
a stable of manure? Could you imagine that? Could you imagine
little Jehovah playing as a--as a boy? It's an example. Could you
imagine Him as a teenager? Could you imagine in the carpenter's shop? And could
you imagine Him in such complete obedience to God, dying on a cross to redeem
His fallen creation? That's the kind of a love that God had. And He had to
become that in order to die, to hold the sting of death.

64 Jehovah God became man, took on our stock,
crossed Himself from God, and become man. There's the sign. Become... He was
God, and became man, not rich men, but poor man. This is the super sign.
"You've asked for a sign," said God, "I'll give you one, an
everlasting sign."
He could've come otherwise, as I've said, but a baby. Why did He
become a baby? When that first little toothless
mouth opened in that manger, on that first crib--first Christmas morning, in
His little manger crib, and the first little yell that went from His voice,
that was God crying. Jehovah crying:
a man. Come from God; and was man, every whit, man. Come to the world with
nothing, but still man. What was He trying to do? What was He purposing?

was Immanuel. This is the super Sign: God dwelling in the
creation that He created. The super sign, "It shall be a sign unto

He was so poor when He come to the earth,
He come through a borrowed womb, a borrowed womb of a woman, and had to borrow
a grave to be buried in. God... A virgin shall conceive without sexually
interception. Jehovah borrowed the womb of Mary, a woman, to perform the duty,
that He'd give an everlasting sign. And was so poor on earth, after
thirty-three years and of a half, of ministry, He had to borrow a grave to be
buried in. Can you imagine? Talk about immaculate conception,
what meanest thou anyhow?

crying... Talk about a super Sign, that's a real super Sign: a Baby, Jehovah

Then people saying He's just a prophet. Oh, my. The super
Sign: Jehovah as a boy, playing; Jehovah, a man toiling in the carpenter shop;
Jehovah, Hisself made flesh and dwelled among us,
stretched His tent down here, made Hisself a body to
live in it; to have a Blood cell, that that Blood cell could be broken...
Hallelujah! That was the Lamb of God that was slain from the foundation of the world, that brings us eternal redemption. The Bible said so
here. It brought us eternal redemption. We are purchased by the precious Blood
of Jesus Christ which has given us Eternal Life. How did He do it? I don't
know.

the beginning when Adam... I just can't get away from that, seem like
somebody's not a-getting it somewhere. Look. In the beginning... Let me show
you something again, the Holy Spirit warns me to do this. I'm leaving my
subject for a minute. When the first news come to glory that the son had been lost, Adam, did God send
an Angel? Did He send a Son? Did He send anyone else? He came
Hisself to redeem His lost son. Hallelujah. God
didn't trust it with no one but Himself. God was made flesh and dwelled among
us and redeemed man Himself. It's the... "We are
saved," the Bible said, "by the Blood of God." The mortal God
was... The immortal God was made mortal in order to take away sin, to be the
Lamb Himself, to enter into glory, veiled, and with His own Blood before Him
beyond the veil.

Would you like an Old Testament type? Let us go back to the Garden
of Eden. When the first news came to glory that the son,
Adam, had been lost, did God send an angel? Did He send a son? Did He send
another one like unto us? No, He came HIMSELF to redeem that lost son.
Hallelujah! God did not entrust His plan of salvation to another. He trusted
only Himself. God was made flesh and dwelt among us and redeemed us unto
Himself. We're saved by the "blood of God". The
Eternal God in-dwelt a mortal body in order to take away sin. He became the
Lamb in order to shed His blood and enter into the veil with it.

And I said to the wife, "Go on in, honey, let me wash the dishes."
I thought, "Boy, them guys know what they're talking about,
them scientists. I'll show her how. I'll... she'll... Till she catches onto
this, what I'm doing... Just dip it in and set it out, that's all you have to
do."
The kids had eat eggs for breakfast. And
I poured this detergent in there, and dipped it in, dipped it out, and dipped
it in and dipped it out. It was still eggy. Yes, sir.
I don't believe anything I hear on television, no more. No,
sir. No, no. No, indeed.
That's the reason I don't believe any manmade system can stand.
God's got one provided Way. It isn't Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian; but it's
Jesus Christ by the new birth, believing that Bible. That's God's provided Way,
and the only Way that He has, is in Jesus Christ, His Son. And in His Son
He placed His Name. His... God's Name is Jesus, 'cause He came in His Father's
Name. And so that would be God's Name, because He was God.

31 Man will never know what that was. That's
the reason there could be no one else could ever die like that. I don't care
how much that you could be tormented, how that they might put your feet in
stocks, or saw you by inches, or burn you by inches; you could not
die that death, because your makeup's not like that. He had to be God. He had
to be more than man in the makeup, God died. He died of a broken heart, with
such grief for the world, until a chemical reaction taken place in His body
that could not take place in you. You cannot suffer like that. There's no way
for you to have that kind of a grief. So there's only One
could do it, and He did it.

people. Everything that God was, was put into Jesus
Christ. He was coequal with the Father. Is that right? Think it not robbery,
but He was equal with the Father.
I used to think that God was mad at me, but Jesus loved me.
But I come to find out that Jesus was the very heart of God. Through
Jesus here, manifesting His Father's love to the people. Then I seen God
was in His Son. And now, He said, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more, yet you'll see
Me, for I'll be with you even in you." Then God is in His people tonight,
showing the same signs and wonders that He did when He was in Galilee, same
signs and wonders He did when He come through the wilderness in the Pillar of
Fire. He's the same Jehovah God today as back yonder in

grave. But before He died, He committed His Spirit into the hands of God:
"Into the hands... Into Thy hands commend My Spirit." So you see, His
Spirit went to God; His Soul went to hell; His body went to the grave. Now, that Spirit that was in Him was the Spirit of God. And

anointed the prophets to bring the message to the people. In the

31 Now, I know somebody says, "He was the
Jewish blood." You hear the Jews say that. He wasn't Jewish blood, and
neither was He Gentile blood. He was the Blood of God. He had
neither Jewish... He wasn't neither Jew nor Gentile.
He was God. "A--a--a virgin shall conceive."
Now, I know many of you people and the Protestants think that the
egg was Mary's. And the--the hemoglobin which comes, the life comes in the
blood cell. Because a hen can lay an egg; without being with the male bird, it
won't hatch, because it's not fertile. Life comes from the bloodstream, which
comes from the male sex. But in this case there was no male sex, so the Life in
the blood, it had to come from God alone, and He created a Blood cell in the womb of Mary.
God Himself, the Creator Himself, created a Blood cell. Now, look. They say,
"Well, it was the body. Mary had the egg." No, sir.
She was not no egg. If it was an egg, you cannot get
the sperm without a sensation. And if he--she had a sensation, what do you have
God doing?
He created both egg and Blood. That's exactly what He was.
"We handled God," the Bible said. I Timothy 3:16, "Without
controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh.
We handled Him with our hands." That body was God. Certainly
was. He was God all over, in a form of a human being.

34 Now we notice in this, that that Blood cell
being broken, that released God. "God was in Christ, reconciling the world
to Himself," where no other one could do it, nothing
else could be done; it taken that holy Blood Himself. God had to come
down and become man to suffer His Own law. If Jesus was just a prophet, a man
separated from God, then God is unjust.
If I could say, "Let Brother Grant die for some sin that
Billy ought to die for, or something else, some penalty," that would be
unjust. If I had my own boy to die for a penalty that I had pronounced, it
still isn't just. There's only one justice I can do, that's take his place, if
I want to save him.
And God had to become flesh in order to take the sinner's
place: God manifested in the flesh, nothing less than God Himself. Now, here He
was manifested in the flesh to take away the sins of the world. And He
identified Himself in us, that we might be identified in Him. See the purpose of
it?

God came down out of glory, brought Hisself into the
womb of a woman. And there, God, the Creator, wrapped around Himself and
created a Blood cell, the virgin not knowing any man. If you don't believe
that, you're still in sin. She had nothing to do with a man. God, Himself... Christ was not a Jew. His Blood wasn't a Jew, neither was
it a Gentile. It was God's Blood. The Blood cell come
from the Male, and the Male was God. The Bible said we're saved through the
Blood of God, no sex into it at all. There it is.

threeness, fourness, and
whatever you are, will just get this in your mind right now, you--you'd shake
hands and say we're brothers. Look, God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. Jesus was the Son of God that God overshadowed
Mary, created in the womb a Blood cell.
Now, you've heard people say, "We were saved by Jewish
blood." We could not be saved by Jewish blood. It's just as sinful as any
other blood.
"We were saved by the blood of Gentile?" No, sir. We wasn't even saved by
human blood. We were saved by the Blood of God, God's Blood. The--the germ of life
comes from the blood cell, and the Blood Cell here came from God the Creator,
Who created a Blood Cell that brought forth the Son of God.
