5    And as they were afraid, and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

LUKE 24:6

UNVEILING.OF.GOD_  JEFF.IN  V-9 N-1  SUNDAY_  64-0614M

92    God veiled in Jesus to do the work of redemption at the cross... God could not die as a Spirit; He's the Eternal. But He had to put on a mask and act the part of death. He did die, but He couldn't do it in His God form. He had to do it in Son form, as Son of man on earth. See? He had to be Son form. Then when He returned on Pentecost, He was Son of God again. You see what I mean? Get the idea? He was...

UNVEILING.OF.GOD_  JEFF.IN  V-9 N-1  SUNDAY_  64-0614M

184    Oh, brother, sister, are you catching it? Look. Don't you see? It's been veiled through these ages according to what God said, and It would be opened in the last days; those seven seals would be broke, and the full thing would come into view of the people, what's took place all along. The hour of the seventh angel's message, all the mysteries of God should be made known in that Elijah, in this last hour: how that Christ is put out of His church as Son of God; how He's revealed as Son of man again; how that the church is to be put in order, and everything for the last day, and no creed, no denominations, just absolutely the Word living in the individual. "I'll take one and leave one. I'll take this one and leave that one." See? It's just... There's no strings, no denominations, no bindings or nothing; it's the heart with God and Him alone. See?

UNCHANGEABLE.GOD_  TULSA.OK  SATURDAY_  60-0326

E-29    Now, man cannot do that. It's supernatural. It's something that man can't do. While I've just got a couple minute's time, I want to explain that. See, man cannot do nothing. It's God in man. Jesus said, "I am the Vine; ye are the branch." Now, as long as a branch is in the Vine, it'll bear the fruit of the Vine. Now, God always used men for His agent.

That's why He used His own Son to inveil Himself. He come down and took the form of man in order to die the death for man. He could not die in the Spirit, but He was put to death in the flesh.

Then God was in Abraham; God was in Isaac; God was in Jacob; God was in Joseph; God was in David. He was in all those people back in there, them prophets and so forth. It was God working through men.

RAPTURE.THE_  YUMA.AZ  V-5 N-14  SATURDAY_  65-1204

158    One day when I started to preach these seven church ages, and I called Jack Moore, a great theologian; I said, "Jack, Who is this Person that's standing there, 'There's One like the Son of man standing there, hair as white as wool.'" I said, "He was a young Man; how could He have hair as white as wool?"

He said, "Brother Branham, that was His glorified body." That didn't ring the bell. But when I went in the room and started praying, He let me know what it was.

See, I've always preached that He was Deity, not just a man; He was God manifested in the flesh, God, the Attribute of God of love, the great Attributes that come down displayed here on earth of God. Jesus was God's love, which built a body that Jehovah Himself lived in. He was the Fullness of the Godhead bodily. What God was, He manifested through that body. That body had to die so He could wash the Bride with His--with His--with His Blood.

LIVING.DYING.BURIED_  JEFF.IN  EM 1-14  SUNDAY_  59-0329S

31    Man will never know what that was. That's the reason there could be no one else could ever die like that. I don't care how much that you could be tormented, how that they might put your feet in stocks, or saw you by inches, or burn you by inches; you could not die that death, because your makeup's not like that. He had to be God. He had to be more than man in the makeup, God died. He died of a broken heart, with such grief for the world, until a chemical reaction taken place in His body that could not take place in you. You cannot suffer like that. There's no way for you to have that kind of a grief. So there's only One could do it, and He did it.

LIVING.DYING.BURIED.RISING.COMING_  LA.CA  FRIDAY_  59-0403

E-18    Most wonderful life that was ever lived on earth had to die when He was yet in His youth. For God had spoke; and His--His judgments had--had to have justice. For it is written, "The day you eat thereof that day you die." God's justice required death.

And there was no one of us could die for one another. No man could do that. He was the only Man could die that kind of a death. For we were all borned in sin, shaped in iniquity, come to the world speaking lies. We were guilty from the beginning. So how could a good man die for another man when he was guilty himself? There could not be any of us take that kind of a position. So it had to take His death.

And God came down and was manifested in the flesh in order to die a death. God could not die in Spirit, because God is eternal, His Spirit doesn't die. But He was God. And He had to unfold Himself, and--and come from glory to a manger, and take on the form of sinful flesh in order to die to secure His Church, or to redeem His Church, to reconcile them back to Himself.

Oh, brother, sister, there's nobody could explain that, what God did when He died for us; His flesh was put to death.

MANIAC.OF.GADARA_  CHICAGO.IL  TUESDAY_  54-0720A

E-33    He was God made flesh to take away sin. That's the only way it could be. God had to suffer. And God couldn't suffer the penalty of His own judgment unless He was made flesh. Because God is immortal. He's a Spirit. Jesus said in Saint John the 4th chapter, "God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit, in Truth."

And a spirit could not suffer death that the spirit had pronounced. And the Spirit did not send a prophet to take Its place. The Spirit did not send a good man to take Its place. The Spirit came Itself, in flesh, to take the place of It. That's right. God taken the place of a sinner, and died in its stead.

REVELATION.CHAPTER.ONE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 9-67  SUNDAY_  60-1204M

329    Looky here. In the beginning when Adam... I just can't get away from that, seem like somebody's not a-getting it somewhere. Look. In the beginning... Let me show you something again, the Holy Spirit warns me to do this. I'm leaving my subject for a minute. When the first news come to glory that the son had been lost, Adam, did God send an Angel? Did He send a Son? Did He send anyone else? He came Hisself to redeem His lost son. Hallelujah. God didn't trust it with no one but Himself. God was made flesh and dwelled among us and redeemed man Himself. It's the... "We are saved," the Bible said, "by the Blood of God." The mortal God was... The immortal God was made mortal in order to take away sin, to be the Lamb Himself, to enter into glory, veiled, and with His own Blood before Him beyond the veil.

34-4 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1

Would you like an Old Testament type? Let us go back to the Garden of Eden. When the first news came to glory that the son, Adam, had been lost, did God send an angel? Did He send a son? Did He send another one like unto us? No, He came HIMSELF to redeem that lost son. Hallelujah! God did not entrust His plan of salvation to another. He trusted only Himself. God was made flesh and dwelt among us and redeemed us unto Himself. We're saved by the "blood of God". The Eternal God in-dwelt a mortal body in order to take away sin. He became the Lamb in order to shed His blood and enter into the veil with it.

WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_  VICTORIA.BC  FRIDAY_  62-0727

E-77    Then when Abraham's seed through Isaac, the natural seed, Jew, came to the end of their life, here was that same God manifested in flesh, showing His Messiahic sign, the same thing. Now, here comes the Gentiles, the royal seed of Abraham through Christ, at the end of their age with two thousand years of teachings.

Now, the Pentecostals come on with speaking in tongues, interpretations, and so forth, and had all kinds of miracles. But remember, here we are. We're at the end of the age, receiving the same sign that they did back there at the end of the age, just before the fire falls. "Sirs, We Would See Jesus." He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

What would you look? For that life that was in Christ would be in His church. See? God... That man was God, represented Himself in human flesh, in human form. Today God represents Himself in the human flesh of His church: God the Holy Ghost in His church, moving through His church, speaking with tongues, interpreting tongues, healing the sick, and then the last sign, the Word so manifested till It's a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart. How many see that and believe that to be the truth? Let us pray.

TOKEN.THE_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-19  SUNDAY_  63-0901M

12-7    What a hour that we're now living. Oh, a blood identified--identified the believer, because that he--the life had gone out, could not come back, so he had to have a chemistry. He had to have it like a paint, a blood, a chemistry that showed that life went from it.

Now, the very Spirit Itself is the Token. The Holy Spirit Itself is the Token, not the Blood.

The Blood was shed at Calvary, that is true, but the Blood, as far as it is, went back into the elements to--from which it come, from the food that He lived on. But you see, inside that Blood cell was a Life that started the blood cell to moving. If it wasn't, the chemistry had no Life in it itself; and therefore it could not move. But when the Life come into the chemistry of the blood, it formed a cell. It formed its own cell, then cell after cell. And it become a Man, and that Man was God Emmanuel in flesh. But when that Life returned back the chemistry went to it. But the Token is the Holy Ghost upon the church, that they see Christ.
