GENESIS 3:21

21     ¶  Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

EXODUS 33:11-23

11    And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

EXODUS 33:12

12     ¶  And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

EXODUS 33:13

13    Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy people.

EXODUS 33:14

14    And he said, My presence shall go [with thee], and I will give thee rest.

EXODUS 33:15

EXODUS 33:16

16    For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? [is it] not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that [are] upon the face of the earth.

EXODUS 33:17

17    And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

EXODUS 33:18

18    And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

EXODUS 33:19

19    And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

EXODUS 33:20

20    And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

EXODUS 33:21

21    And the LORD said, Behold, [there is] a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

EXODUS 33:22

22    And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

EXODUS 33:23

23    And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

IT.WASN'T.SO.FROM.THE.BEGINNING_  PHOENIX.AZ  SUNDAY_  60-0306

E-10    Now, God is omnipotent, omnipresent. By being omniscient, makes Him omnipresent; He--He knows all things. But God could not be just like the air is, because God has a dwelling place. God is not a myth. God is a Being: God, Jesus. He, God, (pronoun), He is a Being. Therefore He's omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, and infinite.

Now, to be infinite, it comes through a word "infinite," which "there is no limit." He is Eternal. Eternal is like a ring. It goes around and around, and you're trying to find where it began or where it ends. There is no beginning or ending to it.

God is like a great Diamond that sets like this. And the gifts of the Spirit is the reflection of this Diamond, that reflects rays of light off of this big Diamond. Like nine spiritual gifts in the church, is like nine rays that the Holy Spirit is reflecting into the church. What a Light to walk in, from the one great Diamond, God.

POSITION.IN.CHRIST_  JEFF.IN  AD.3  SUNDAY_  60-0522M

51    But being infinite, then He knows all things, knowing every time a gnat bats its eye; knowed every bumblebee, where he goes into the comb to get his honey. He knows every sparrow that sets in the tree. He knows every thought that's in your mind, because He is infinite and omniscient. That is, He not only is He infinite, He's omniscient; He knows everything. But He is a Being. God is a Being, and out of this Being begin to bring forth these.

FELLOWSHIP_  MIDDLETOWN.OH  SATURDAY_  60-0611B

E-19    Now, we find out in the Old Testament, that God had one meeting place, one meeting place. The only place He would meet with His people was in one place, the Tabernacle. And that was under the shed blood. The only place God met with His people, was under the shed blood. That's the only placed He can meet with us today.

He could not meet with us as an organization. He cannot meet with us as an intellectual group. He can only meet with us as we have fellowship, as we come under the shed Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. That's the only basic place that we can meet.

Sometime ago, I was dedicating a tabernacle. They asked me to bring the--the words back... A brother down in Tennessee, I forget what his name was now, the Church of God, down there. And I said, "God is a Being."

Now, God's just not like your--like the air. If He would, you would never have to seek the Holy Ghost: it would be in you, 'cause He'd filled all space and things. God's omnipresent, sure, by being omniscient, knowing all things. But God has a dwelling place, because He is a Being. Exactly right. And God dwells with fellowship under the shed Blood of His Son, and that alone. Amen. Not upon our denomination or affiliation, but upon the shed Blood we meet God face to face.

WHO.IS.THIS.MELCHISEDEC_  JEFF.IN  V-5 N-10  SUNDAY_  65-0221E

48    Notice, those who have tonight Eternal Life, was with Him and in Him, in His thinking, before there ever was an Angel, star, Cherubim, or anything else. That's eternal. And if you have Eternal Life, you always was, not your being here, but the shape and form that the infinite God... And if He isn't infinite, He isn't God.

God has to be infinite. We're finite; He's infinite. And He was omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. If He isn't, then He can't be God: knows all things, all places because of His omnipresence. Omniscient makes Him omnipresent. He is a being; He's not like the wind. He is a being; He dwells in a house, but being omniscient, knowing all things, makes Him omnipresent, because He knows everything that's going on. There can't be a flea bat its eyes but what He knowed it. And He knowed it before there was a world, how many time it'd bat it's eyes and how much tallow it had in it, before there ever was a world. That is infinite. We can't comprehend it in our minds, but that's God--God, infinite.

WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_  SASKATOON.SK  THURSDAY_  57-0516

E-15    "Ye shall see Me." That better? All right. Ye shall see Me. Now, if Christ has risen from the dead, and we are given the invitation and the Scripture that He promised, that He--we could see Him, and that we--He would be the same yesterday, today, and forever, then would you desire to see Him? Would you? If you'd raise your hands? Would every Christian believe it that? I--I would, with my hands up; I would love to see Him. Well, now, how can we see Him? The way we can see Him is by His works. Now, he hasn't come in a corporal body yet, among us. He's here in a spiritual body (You believe that?), a spiritual body called the Holy Spirit. He's in the form of the Holy Spirit.

In the beginning God was a Spirit. And all the fountain of goodness and mercy and power, and all the good things of love, God was the center of that fountain. And then the Logos that went out of God in the beginning become what we would call a theophany, or a--a supernatural body. God is just not like the air, but He's in a body. Moses seen Him pass and said it looked like the back part of a man, and so forth. And then that same theophany was made flesh and dwelled among us. And we beheld Him, the only begotten of the Father: Christ.

HEBREWS.CHAPTER.4_  JEFF.IN  HEB  SUNDAY_  57-0901E

142-132    As we had it the other night, God in the beginning was Spirit. And then from God went out the Logos, or the Theophany which was a form of a man called the Son of God (prefigured). He came in earth in a body of flesh, even before He came in Jesus Christ. Now, swallow that one once, brother. I'll prove it to you.

When--when Moses saw Him, he said, "Let me see Your form, Lord." And God hid him in a rock. And when He passed by, he said it was the back part of a man. That was that Theophany. That's exactly. Then that Theophany had to be made flesh, not another person, but the same Person had to become flesh to take the sting out of death. Like a bee when he stings, it leaves a stinger. And the... He never left that... He could put a sting in human flesh because it's sin. But, brother, when he stung that Emmanuel's flesh, he lost his stinger. Yes, sir. He can buzz, but he ain't got no stinger no more.

MANIFESTED.SONS.OF.GOD_  JEFF.IN  AD.2  WEDNESDAY_  60-0518

97    And Paul said, "It does not yet appear just exactly what kind of a body we'll have, but we know we'll have a body like His." What? Did He ever have that theophany body? Yes, sir. When He died, the Bible said that, "He," is a personal pronoun again, "He went to hell and preached to the souls in prison." Hallelujah. How did He do it? He had senses of feeling; He had senses of hearing; He had senses of speech; He preached with that same kind of body I saw those glorified ones in the other night. He preached to the souls that were in hell, that repented not in the long-suffering of the days of Noah.

But when He rose up on Easter, it was not possible that that Body should see corruption, 'cause David the prophet foresaw it, "I'll not leave His soul in hell, neither will I suffer My holy One to see corruption. Moreover My flesh shall rest in hope, because He will not leave My soul in hell, neither will He leave My holy One see corruption." And on seventy-two hours before corruption could set in, that theophany, that body that went and preached to the souls that were in prison, that repented not in the long-suffering of days of Noah, rose again, and the mortal put on immortality, and He stood and He eat, and He told us that He was a Man. Hallelujah.

FAITH.ONCE.DELIVERED.TO.SAINTS_  W.P.BEACH.FL  SUNDAY_  53-1129A

E-56    And God went and got some skins and gave them aprons. In order to get skins He had to kill something. Something had to die a substitutionary. And the only thing in the world... It's not the Methodist, Baptist or Presbyterian church that'll cover your sins. God killed something: His Son, Calvary. That's their covering, the only covering there is for the human being. Accept it. No matter how irradical it...?... the religion of Jesus Christ has always been considered fanaticism to the world. I'll prove that to you in a few minutes. That's right.

Notice him now. Here they are out there a worshipping, both of them, both sincere, both just a screaming up to God, giving Him praise and everything. Cain was a long ways from being a communist. He was a believer.

Now, looky here. If the only thing you have to do is to believe that God is, then Cain was just. There you are. Kinda going to let that soak down a little bit, 'cause I want it to go under the fifth rib on the left side. See?

HAVING.CONFERENCES_  CHATAUQUA.OH  WEDNESDAY_  60-0608

E-27    Then we find then, when God found them standing behind the bush somewhere, shivering, and with their fig leave aprons on, God... Like always (the world conferences) they always try to get to Geneva and Switzerland , some beautiful spot so it's inspiring. Make certain places, and then call the conference together. I guess God, when He found Adam and Eve hid behind a bush over there... They couldn't come out. They said, "We can't come out, Father. We are naked."

"And who told you you were naked?"

And then they started, just as it always is, what they call in the army "passing the buck" from one to the other. God looked around and He found a tree, a certain place, a place He thought would be beautiful. And He got some skins, and threw them back in the bushes, and said, "Cover yourself with this, and come out before Me."

And they had a conference; they talked it over. Then God made a preparation for them. Oh, I'm so glad there was an Eden conference, not let us go under fig leaves and something we can sew up together, but God killed something to cover their sins and gave a promise, that through the woman's seed would crush the serpent's head, foretelling what He would do.

SHOW.US.THE.FATHER.IT'LL.SATISFY_  CONNERSVILLE.IN  WEDNESDAY_  53-0610

E-66    And He went around. Then He made him a helpmate. And the first thing you know, sin came into the world. And I can look at all of that that morning when God stood there before Adam and Eve. And when they sinned... Of course they tried to make themself a religion and dodge around, but it wouldn't do no good.

God said, "Where are you, Adam?" And Adam answered. And he's covered up with fig leaves, but his fig leaf religion didn't do any good. That's right.

So then when the... First thing you know, God went out and got some skins. In order to get skins, He had to kill something. And He had to kill something to make a religion. And, brother, your old, cold, formal creeds ain't going to do you any good. God killed something on Calvary, His own Son, to cover up sin.

SHOW.US.THE.FATHER.IT'LL.SATISFY_  CONNERSVILLE.IN  WEDNESDAY_  53-0610

E-67    And could you imagine God throwing back in them bushes there a old pair of bloody sheepskin. Here comes the most beautiful woman ever lived in the face of the earth wrapped up, her blond hair hanging down her--her back like this. Didn't even know she was naked before, with this old bloody sheepskin around her, the blood running down her--her beautiful form. And here come Adam the same way, his big manly shoulders and this sheepskin around him. He was... Couldn't stand no more naked. He was in shame. I got my idea of what it was. You can have yours. But, all right.

WAY.TO.HAVE.FELLOWSHIP_  CHICAGO.IL  SUNDAY_  55-1009

E-36    But He went anyhow because there was one soul calling for Him. Just think, crossed that stormy lake, over across there to find one soul in need; that was His love for one needy soul. He will come from glory tonight to this school auditorium for one needy soul that'll believe Him.

And so then, when sin came in, it separated man from fellowship. Notice what God did to bring man back to fellowship. He introduced to the world a Blood redemption. God killed animals and put for their skin, showing a blood redemption. And there God, after being separated from His--from His creatures, God laid out the welcome mat back home by the shedding of the blood. And that was then, and has been, and will always be, God's provided preparation for fellowship with Him is through the shed Blood.

FELLOWSHIP_  MINNEAPOLIS.MN  SUNDAY_  56-0212

E-25    Now, since sin broke that fellowship, man has been tossed about from ever wind of doctrine and he's still tossed about. He was turned out of the garden of Eden to shift for himself, and then that great time he's still tossing about.

God made one preparation for man to be restored back to that fellowship. Oh, nothing else... we have tried... He offered to the human race. Blood was the way back to fellowship. God killed some animals and took their skins, shed the innocent blood of the animal, and brought the skin and wrapped Adam and Eve in it, and fellowshipped with them again after the shedding of the blood.

This is God's way. It was God's way. It'll always be the right thing to fellowship through the blood, reconciliation bringing the believer back into contact with his Maker. We've tried to educate people to it. It'll never work. We've tried to draw denominational barriers, and say, "Because you go to this church or this church..." Denomination, education, signs or anything else outside the shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ will never bring fellowship back to the people again with God.

MESSAGE.OF.GRACE_  JEFF.IN  V-13 N-3  SUNDAY_  61-0827

72    Oh, how it was terrible that morning, darkness hanging in the garden. I'll imagine fog of black sackcloth. I'd imagine every leaf never moved. There was no wind stirring. It was darkness and terrible, because sin had blotted out.

There come Jehovah down like a roar of thunder, walking through the garden, crying, "Adam, where art thou?" That's when Adam realized he was naked and had sinned before God. He hid hisself and tried to make hisself a religion, but it didn't work. God killed some sheep, took the skins, and showed that something had to die to cover sin.

Joining church will never cover sin. No dry-eyed confession will ever cover sin. It takes sorrow and repentance, and the grace of God to cover sin; for the Blood of Jesus Christ, the One that God killed at Calvary to cover sin.

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS_  JEFF.IN  COD  SUNDAY_  54-0103E

139-173    I don't know. This might be my bosom friend setting here for all I know; for God Who is in heaven knows I don't even know the handwriting. I couldn't tell you. But I want you to listen this. "My God is a God of love--my God is love and wouldn't do this. Wars are of Satan." I'll agree with you that wars is of Satan. That's exactly. He's a prince of this world. Every kingdom and every nation in this world belongs to Satan. God said they did in His Word. Satan said, "They're mine." Jesus admitted that they were his. But He's going to fall heir to all of them after while, Jesus will. We'll have no more wars then. But God permits Satan to do this for correction and for judgment.

Now, I want to ask you something just before we start. I want you to answer me this and find out. If you don't believe that God is a... You said... that wouldn't do these things. Just to start it right from the beginning... Now, give me your undivided attention if you can. Listen. Why did God Himself chastise His own Son and murder Him on the cross? God killed His own Son at the cross. "Yet it pleased God," said the Scripture, "to smite Him, and to bruise Him, and to wound Him." God did His own Son that way to save you.
