07-0114pm - Faith Pt 25 God Is Waiting - Samuel Dale
JAMES 5:7
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the
coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth
for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he
receive the early and latter rain.
JAMES 5:8
8 Be ye also patient; stablish
your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

48 A prophet indeed, he had a sign that he had
to watch. And when he seen the Messiah, he was so sure that He was coming in
his day, he was so positive. Oh, if the Church could only get
its positive position, if it would only know its stand in the
hour. For, according to the Scripture, He was the one to introduce the Messiah,
and he knowed He had to be on earth in the days of
his prophecy. Therefore He was lingering near to where he was preaching, so
much that he said, "There's One standing among you now, that you don't
know, One among you right now." He knew it would.
He was there. The hour was at hand. He knew it.

E-28 It was blood in the Old Testament. It was
Blood in the New Testament. In the Old Testament was the chemistry, which was
the type of the life that is to come. It showed that there was a substitute
taken. But the worshipper went out with the same guilty conscience that he had
when he come in and offered his lamb. But this way, when the worshipper, once
purged from sin, has no more conscience of it, the thing is dead, passed away,
and you've changed from death unto Life. And you're alive again in Christ Jesus
with Eternal Life, the Holy Spirit resting within you bringing forth the Life
of Jesus Christ again. For the Bible said, Hebrews 13:8, "He's the same
yesterday, today, and forever."
God is waiting the hour to see His church come to that position, regardless of
denomination, regardless of creed, color, whatever it may be,
that His entire church would come to the place that they're displaying the
token of the death of Jesus Christ. "For a little while," He said,
"and the world sees Me no more; yet ye shall see
Me: because I live, you live also. I'll be with you, even in you to the end of
the world," Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.

141 But let them all break down those prejudice
and get together and say, "We'll forget all these here creeds, and
catechisms, and everything we're reading from; let us come back to the Word of
the Lord." Watch what'll take place then. God will raise them up a prophet
(He sure will.) that'll bring it right down to them if they're ready to receive
it. First they have to pray. God waits.
Isn't it strange that God wants the people to have part into it?
When Jesus looked out upon the harvest, He said, "The harvest is ripe; the
laborers are few. You pray the Lord of the harvest (That was Him.)--you pray to
Me, that I'll send laborers into My harvest."
It's some part you have to do. God's waiting for His church
to call on Him. He's always did it. God is waiting
today for the people to call His servant into action. And the servant can't get
into action till the people prays.

69 Like the great water lily. The little, tiny
seed born way down in the bottom of a miry, mucky, dirty, frog-scummy pond, and
it winds its way up through the muck, through all the mud and all the scum, and
becomes the finest thing that you ever looked into the face of, with a radiance
like the sunshine.
So is the Church of the living God, that's been born down in the
mud of fanaticism and chaos. But she's wound her way through the grime until
she's on top of the thing, just waiting for her wings for the flight.
"Many shall run to and fro; and the people that know their God shall do
exploits in that day." God's revelations to His Church... Set still,
little Flock, positionally stay where you are. As Sister Gertie and Sister Angie used to
sing here, "Keep holding on." Don't worry. God is
waiting, and trying, and pressing to get at the mystery of God revealed to His
Church. That's what's a-holding back the coming of
Christ now and the great Millennium, is this great supernatural power
that really lays dormant in the Church.

E-4 But the only thing
that I've found in my travel: I found two different types of people. One of
them is the fundamentalist; the other is a Pentecostal. And the fundamentalist positionally knows their place in Christ, by election. But
they don't have too much faith. The Pentecostal has a lot of faith, but don't
know their position.
So it's just like a man that had a lot of money in the bank and
couldn't write a check, and the other one could write a check, and didn't have no money in the bank. If we could only get
those together. Either Pentecostal faith with fundamental doctrine, or
fundamental doctrine with Pentecostal faith, it will work.
So if the Church only knew its position... And the greatest
hindrance in the Church is fear. They're afraid that it just won't work. Well,
it--it just won't, for you, that way. It just is not--will not work that way;
it must be absolutely believers, not make-believers, but believers from your
heart.

37-4 The new birth is Christ, is a revelation.
God has revealed to you this great mystery, and that's the new birth. Now, what
are you going to do when you get all that group together,
where the revelation is perfectly in harmony, and God expressing it through His
Word by the same actions, the same things that He did, making the Word manifest? Oh, if the Church only knew its position. It will one
day. Then, the rapture will go when it knows what it is.
Now, notice. You say, "Brother Branham, but
that--that ain't..." Oh, yes, it is, too. It is
the Truth.

63 Now, remember, they had the Word; and the
Word was flesh then. And the Word told them, "I give you power. (Amen.) I
give you power." And they had the power, but they didn't have faith to
operate the Word that was in them. See what I mean? But Jesus had it; He was
the Word; and He had faith that what He said would happen. He said, "Oh,
bring him here. How long will I suffer you?"
He had faith with His power. How did He? He said, "I
can do nothing in Myself." Why? He relied upon
what He was; He relied in knowing that He was the Word. And He had faith in
God, Who made Him the Word. He was God, the Word, and it was in Him, and that
give Him faith, because He understood His position. He knowed
what He was, because the Scripture had said He was this. And here every
Scripture tied in to prove that He was exactly what the Scripture said He would
be, and He knew what He was.

94 Now, watch. Now, and He said to us,
"If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you (
"Is not it written that Christ shall come, and what all
Christ would do?" He said to Cleopas and them
that morning, "Isn't it written in the Scriptures
that they'll have to--that He must suffer and then be killed and raised the
third day?" Said, "Why are you so slow of
understanding?"
They thought, "My, this Man speaks a little different from
other men." Come to find out, when they got into the inn, it was Him. See, their eyes was withholden
from Him. See, they knowed that He kept laying to
that Scripture, and they knowed it was Him.

97 Now, you must believe what you ask for. If
you are a believer, recognize yourself as a believer. Recognize that these
things are for you. If there's condemnation in your life, straighten that
first. See? If you got condemnation in your... I... Or
you might have Oral Roberts and--and a dozen more people who has faith to come
here and pray over you, and jump up and down, and pour oil on you by the
gallons, that it--you know, it--it won't move. That's right.

138 And when you got pure, unadulterated faith,
like your love is to your companion, then you prove it
by the way you act. You ain't complaining no more;
you know it's done; just walk along. No matter what the things look like, what
anybody else says, you know what's happened. You know that
it's finished, just as well as you know you love your husband, as well as you
know you love... See, love and faith has to go together. They're kinfolks; they
love. Love produces faith.

139 When Satan tempts us, we are to resist him
in a perfect faith in a perfect Word, like Jesus did. The Word of God is
perfect. We're to have perfect faith in this perfect Word
and resist Satan.

114 And so when a man lives by faith and walks by faith, I mean
substance faith, he is isolated from the entire world and becomes a new
creature in Christ. There, now you're getting into Bride material. You see,
see? You're getting into rapturing condition now. That means for each
one of us, not just the pastor, deacons, trustees; that means for the laity,
every individual walks in a world with God alone. You're baptized into this
Kingdom, and there's nobody in there but you and God. See? He gives the orders,
and you pack them out. Whatever He says, there's not a shadow of doubt nowhere;
you walk right on. If the Lord says this, there's nobody in the world can talk
you out of it; you go right on just the same. Now, you're coming into perfect
faith, perfect perfection that cannot fail. That faith never fails.
Yes, He was a mystic to them with His perfect faith; and so is it
now with those who have perfect faith are a mystic to
others.
