PROVERBS 16:25

25       There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.

WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_  SPOKANE.WA  THURSDAY_  62-0712

E-15    Now, it's too bad we don't have about a month here in this city in some auditorium, where we just take messages on faith, build the people to that. Let all these sick people throughout the building here that's setting here, let them come, watch night after night, see what takes place, watch for faith until really something anchors. Then they get it. When it--when faith anchors, it's there to stay. It'll never be moved. Nothing can ever move faith.

I find in a prayer line about ninety-nine out of every hundred that comes to the platform... Oh, I've heard people say, "Oh, Brother Branham, I got all faith." Then what are they doing up there. See, see? See, it's hope instead of faith. See? If faith, you know something. It's just as positive as if you're setting here. It's more positive than you're setting here.

It's a sixth sense. Five senses won't touch it. It's the sixth sense. Five senses won't declare faith at all. It's the sixth sense, and the sixth sense is the one that declares the whole armor of God. And the whole armor of God is nothing that the... one of the five senses will declare. Do you believe that?

Look. Faith, love, joy, peace, long-suffering, meekness, gentleness, patience, who can declare that by some of your science? You can't do it. It's a faith, the sixth sense that goes out and declares it. "It's the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." You don't see it, taste it, feel it, smell it, or hear it; you believe it. That's right.

BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-21  SUNDAY_  62-1104M

23-4    And then, that was number one. Number one, coming to you, your mental faith, right here, comes the Holy Spirit, coming down into your mental faith making it a spiritual faith. Then the spiritual faith only recognizes the Word.

Now, and number two--three: Then you'll have spiritual, you'll be--have the Holy Spirit, and will seal all these things into you, as that Holy Spirit covers this. From your faith up to the Holy Spirit seals you in with Christ; then you become one. Amen. (Get this thing out of my way. It's hard on your arms.) You become one. See, you and Christ live together. "At that day you'll know that I'm in the Father, the Father in Me, I in you, and you in Me." See? Then that's a sealed unit of the Lord God. Now, and then they are vindicated and placed. When that time takes place, they become vindicated sons and daughters of God.

REVELATION.BOOK.OF.SYMBOLS_  JEFF.IN  V-13 N-6  SUNDAY_  56-0617

98    Father God, this little, bitty flock here this morning, but there's real men and women sitting here that's Your children, that believes You and loves You. I pray, God, for them. Maybe some of them have never accepted You yet, never really had the experience of all the old carnal things of the world dying out, they just lived on a church confession, they told people, and told others. Maybe they've been baptized or something in--in Christian article, but never really have ever been saved. They don't really know what it is. Maybe they just been mentally emotional, intellectually professed Christians, thinking that they're right by a sentiment, where, "There's a way that seemeth right unto a man," seems like it's right, and you got it, "but the end thereof is the ways of death."

WHY.I.AM.A.HOLY.ROLLER_  CHICAGO.IL  SUNDAY_  53-0830A

E-43    Now, notice, on down... I see the clock moving around. I haven't got very many more minutes, but I want to get right straight to my point now so you can see what I mean, 'cause you're suffering under this heat.

Well, let's forget about it for a few minutes. Let's open our hearts. Brother and sister, there's an eternity before us. And it behooves you today to set up and take notice to remember what you're listening to, and to--how you're serving God.

And is it possible that a man could be wrong and yet sincere? Yes, sir, "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man."

DOCTOR.MOSES_  CHICAGO.IL  FRIDAY_  55-0114

E-11    Jesus, talking to this mighty ruler who did not understand, and He was giving him the Old Testament as Scriptural proof of what He was talking about. Jesus was very fundamental in His doctrine. But it was against their theology of that doctrine. Although in their theology they were very orthodox. They believed and very much of believers in what they did believe. But they didn't have it, the Truth.

The Scripture says there is a way that seemeth right unto a man. It may seem every bit right. But the end are the ways of death. So we must be sure that we're right. How God knew in all ages that whether it was right or wrong. He vindicated it. He proved it.

MARK.OF.CHRIST_  LA.CA  SATURDAY_  55-0312

E-13    Now, what is it? How was they sealed? That was sealed by the ear, "For faith cometh by hearing." And if the hearing is cut off, the hearing of the Gospel... I don't mean physical hearing, spiritual hearing. Your spiritual ears to the good things of God has been marked; you rejected it for your last time. Then you're sealed out, may be very religious.

Now, you say, "Could it be possible that a person could belong to a church then, Brother Branham, going to church, and being very sincere with all their sincerity, and still be lost?" Absolutely. That's right. The most sincere people I ever seen were pagans and heathens: just as sincere, giving their babies for sacrifice, torturing themselves, and everything, all the sincerity that you could think of.

The Mohammedan's sincere; Buddha's sincere. The Jain's sincere, so sincere they wouldn't touch a little ant or nothing at all: very sincere, far beyond anything that Christianity has ever produced, that I can see, especially in this day. Sincerity doesn't mean it. The Scripture said, "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man." Seems like it have to be all right, but God has a way. And you've got to come, not the way that seems right, but the way that God says is right. Amen. That's the way of the cross.

I.WILL.RESTORE_  ZURICH.SWITZERLAND  SUNDAY_  55-0626E

E-18    The Bible said, "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof is the ways of death." So just worship and confession doesn't make you a Christian. No. If he was, God would've never condemned Cain.

Now notice, Cain liked beauty. He made his altar pretty, brought the fruits of the field on it. Beauty is deceitful. That's what started the trouble in heaven. The devil wanted more beautiful kingdom than Michael. But he was kicked out. Now, you see the spirit of the devil was in Cain, a religious man, confessing his faith in God, but worshipping God, and was condemned of the devil.

INTER.VEIL_  STURGIS.MI  SATURDAY_  56-0121

E-45    "There's a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death." It might seem all right, intellectually. Your soul will always testify to the Word of God if it's born again. If you got an intellectual faith, oh, you'll agree, sure. Say, "That Bible's right."

The Devil says the same thing. The Devil says, "There's a God in heaven. There's a Jesus Christ." Certainly, they believe the same thing."

Oh, you say, "The Devil believe in Jesus Christ?" Certainly.

They publicly confessed Him, said, "Thou art the Son of God. Thou art the Christ, the holy One. Why do you come to torment us before our time comes?" Certainly, they publicly confessed Him to be the Son of God. And ministers with a shallow experience and with a bogus religion, go out and have people to make such a dry-eyed confession as that, and go back out in the world and live like the world and claim that they're Christians.

CORINTHIANS.BOOK.OF.CORRECTION_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  57-0414

E-46    "There's a way that seemeth right unto a man."

You say, "Well why is it? I've repented. Why is it I'm not all right? I've repented, I think I'm just as good as anybody else. I go to church. I been baptized. I get the blessings of God. I love a good sermon. I love the Word of God. I like to read it, and I get spiritual blessings too. And hallelujah, I can prophesy. I can speak with tongues. I've done all these things. You mean to say it's in vain?" I'm not saying it's in vain. But it's possible that it could be in vain. That's right. It depends on what you are in there. That's right. It's what you are that's receiving this. If you're not borned again, if there's not actually something in you, then it's in vain. All the blessings I have...?... to do.

CHRIST.REVEALED.IN.HIS.OWN.WORD_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-10  SUNDAY_  65-0822M

132    "Well, I spoke in tongues, Brother Branham. Well, don't you believe in speaking in tongues, Brother Branham?" Absolutely. "Well, I shouted, don't you believe that?" Yes, sir. "I live a good Christian life, don't you believe in that?" Yes, sir. But still that don't mean you're saved. You're a good person, clean, moral, holy, good person; so was those priests, religious to the core, so religious till one misconstrued, they'd be stoned to death. The death penalty of fooling with the Word of God was death.
