EPHESIANS 4:17

  17       This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

EPHESIANS 4:18

  18    Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

EPHESIANS 4:19

  19    Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

EPHESIANS 4:20

  20    But ye have not so learned Christ;

EPHESIANS 4:21

  21    If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

EPHESIANS 4:22

  22    That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

EPHESIANS 4:23

  23    And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

EPHESIANS 4:24

  24    And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

EPHESIANS 4:25

  25    Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

EPHESIANS 4:26

  26    Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

EPHESIANS 4:27

  27    Neither give place to the devil.

EPHESIANS 4:28

  28    Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

EPHESIANS 4:29

  29    Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

EPHESIANS 4:30

  30    And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

EPHESIANS 4:31

  31    Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

EPHESIANS 4:32

  32    And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

MARK.OF.THE.BEAST_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  56-0715

  E-44    ...?... no more. "Oh, that's nonsense." And you're marked. And then the fountain that's in your life will produce just what you really are. Do you see what I mean? Come out of it, folks. You men, you men and you women, shame on you. "How can I escape it, Brother Branham?" Now, here you are. Just for the next few minutes, let me tell you.

In Revelations the 7th chapter, the Angel went forth to destroy (four of them), and was to bring the whole world to destruction. God said, "Just a minute. Hold the four winds till we seal the servants of our God in their forehead." And He carried the Seal of the living God. The Seal of the living God is the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4:30 said, "Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you're sealed until the day of your redemption." Is that right? "Grieve not..." Don't try to act like the world. Don't wear those... I've got inside scales. Let me tell you something. I'll bring them here and read them to you if you want me too. I've got the inside.

SMYRNAEAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 185-227  TUESDAY_  60-1206

  158    Irenaeus, yes, I had a note here on Irenaeus, about "read this history." That the reason Irenaeus was chosen is because that he had the signs of the Pentecostal original church following him.

Now, if God... How many believes that the church begin at Pentecost? All right. How many believes that God endorsed the church at Pentecost? All right, sir. Then if that was God's first church, and that's what He called a church, and He's the Vine now, we're the branches, if the Vine ever puts forth another branch, what will it be? Pentecostal. Yeah. Now, maybe not by name. Now, we got names of Pentecost, but that's no more than Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal. That don't mean a thing (See?); that's just a name. But as long as you got a Pentecostal experience in your heart, Pentecost in your soul giving you Eternal Life, then God has promised you that you'll never be touched with the second death; that you got eternal Life and can't be touched with the second death. See? You got... You're...

"Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God." Now, don't grieve It, do things that's wrong. If you do, you'll pay for it; 'cause the Bible said, "Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby you are sealed until the day of your redemption." Is that right? "Grieve not the Holy Spirit."

BREACH.THE_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  63-0317E

  78-1  {68}    That's what the Holy Spirit's been doing. See? He goes, and He inspects... That's the reason you can't have these things and... You say, "I spoke in tongues, and I shouted, and I danced in the Spirit." That don't have nothing to do with it. See? The Holy Spirit inspects that person until He's thoroughly satisfied and knows that they are... Then they are sealed unto their eternal destination. There's not nothing can ever break that Seal.

The Bible (you're putting your Scripture down), Ephesians 4:30 said...

... grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed until the day of your redemption.

Hold that Word "redemption" (See?), until the day that the Book of Redemption has been revealed, and the Redeemer comes to claim His possession nothing can do it. See? Don't grieve It. Say; do things that pleases God, for the Book is sealed now and you are sealed. The Holy Spirit Itself is the Seal.

HEBREWS.CHAPTER.7.PT.1_  JEFF.IN  HEB  SUNDAY_  57-0915E

  304-89    Now, "All wars," as I say, "are fought for principles." Now, if you have a little war in church, it must be the right principle. You must be fighting for the right thing. And each member of the church is supposed to do that. Now, this teaching is for the church. That's what we're here for; that's what I'm standing here for; that's what God's Word's for, is for the church.

Don't never let nothing hinder this church; if it does, you're guilty each one of you. And you in your different churches, if something's going wrong in your church, you're guilty, because you're the overseer of that church. It ain't up to the pastor; it ain't up to the deacon board; it's up to you, you individual, to go to that brother and see if you can have him reconciled. If not, then take two or three with you, then come back. If he won't hear that, tell it to the church. Then he's dismissed from the Kingdom of God. God said, "If you dismiss him there, I'll dismiss him here; if you've went through this order." Then He'll turn the Devil loose to him for the construction--destruction of his flesh. And then he'll come back. That's right. That's the way to make him come back. If he's a child of God, he will come back. If he isn't, why--why, he'll go on, and then the Devil will send him on to his eternal place.

QA.ON.THE.SEALS_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  63-0324M

  483-2  {169}    You know, It just goes to show that people without the baptism, and not called to the office of--of a--a minister has no business to be in the pulpit. That's right. I--I--I could take that person, now, by the help of God and tie them in such a knot it'd make their head swim. Look, I don't care what... (Now, I don't mean... Now, that don't sound right. Forgive me. I didn't mean that, Lord; I didn't now... I--I felt Him check me on that. See? So I didn't mean to say it that way. I'm--I'm sorry.) I believe that the Holy Spirit could reveal to that person some secret; that sounds better. See?

Just like tuning an instrument, when you do something wrong, you can tell it as a Christian. You said something wrong; He didn't like that. See, that was putting me in there. See? I ain't in the picture at all. I'm just--don't even want to be myself or nothing; it's Him. Let Him do the work. He does the sounding; the trumpet's a mute. The voice behind it, one that gives it the sound.

BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-21  SUNDAY_  62-1104M

  25-4    Moses represented the law. The prophets represented His justice. We could not live by His law. We could not live by His justice. I don't ask justice; I want mercy, not justice. I can't keep His law, and I can't meet His justice; but I need His mercy. And God said the law and justice has been met in Him. "He's My beloved Son. Hear ye Him. That's Him; that's the One."

Now, in the Old Testament when that son was adopted or placed into the family, his name was just as good on the check as his daddy's was. Yes, sir. They didn't have a... They had a ring in them days, a--a sign, signet; and they'd spit on it [Brother Branham makes a spitting sound and hits the pulpit with his fist--Ed.], place it. That was a signet. That was just a... He wore his daddy's ring, his--his signet; and that was just as good as his daddy's. Now, when Jesus had been obedient, Jesus to God, God placed Him positionally: "This is Him."

Now, when the member is born by the Holy Ghost into the family of God and has proven to have these virtues in him, that God can see virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, and godliness in him, then God seals him or places him. And there, that's when you see the sons and daughters of God.

BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-21  SUNDAY_  62-1104M

  26-1    Then Ephesians 4:30 says, Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed until the day of your redemption. Now, some of you Baptists that wants to go on eternal security, now, if you'll come to that stage, I'll stand with you it's eternal security, if you'll come to that place. But just to say, anybody says, "I'll belong--joined the Baptist church"; "I'm a Presbyterian"; "I got eternal security"; that's wrong. Your own life proves you haven't got it, Until this is there and God has adopted you and sealed you by the Holy Ghost into His kingdom... Then there's no getting out of it. You are eternally secure. "Believe--Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby all you and your godly virtues are sealed until the day of redemption."
