ADOPTION_  JEFF.IN  AD.PT.4  SUNDAY_  60-0522E

184    What is every--what's every name every name of, every person will bear the Name of what? [Congregation says "Jesus."--Ed.] The whole heaven's named Jesus. The whole church is named Jesus. Everything is named Jesus, for it's the only Name that God ever had. He's called Jehovah, Jehovah-jireh, the Lord's provided Sacrifice; Jehovah-rapha, the Lord that healeth thee; Jehovah, the Lord's banner, Manasses; and Jehovah, di--different Jehovahs. He's called the Morning Star. He's called Father: He's called Son; He's called Holy Ghost. He's called Alpha; He's called Omega. He's called Beginning; He's called the Ending. He's called the Branch. Oh, He's called--He's just called all kinds of titles, but He had one Name.

That's what Matthew was talking about when he said, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name (not in names), in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost." Father's not a name; Son's not a name; Holy Ghost is not a name. It's a title to a Name. It's a name of three attributes that belongs to one God. What was His Name? The Angel said, "Thou shall call His Name [Congregation says, 'Jesus.'] for He shall save His people from their sin." That's the reason they all baptized that way in the Bible. That's how Saint Augustine baptized the King of England, about--about a hundred and fifty, two hundred years after the death of Christ, in the Name of Jesus Christ. All right.

GOD'S.CHOSEN.PLACE.WORSHIP_  JEFF.IN  V-5 N-7  SATURDAY_  65-0220

112    Oh, what's this Message come to? What's he going to do? "And in his day it shall be Light at the evening time." And what? To welcome His children back home to the true promised land by the same sign of the Pillar of Fire that led the children of Israel through the wilderness. God's chosen Place to worship, Jesus Christ, that's the only Place there is. That's the only Name God has for salvation. That's what He's named the family in heaven while it's on earth, is Jesus Christ.

GOD'S.PROVIDED.PLACE.OF.WORSHIP_  LA.CA  V-18 N-2  SUNDAY_  65-0425

69    His Name was God. God has many titles. God's a title, Itself, was called Jehovah-jireh, Jehovah-rapha, Jehovah-manasseh. He was called the Rose of Sharon, Lily of the Valley, Morning Star; Alpha, Omega, Beginning and End; then Father, Son, Holy Ghost, all these titles.

But His Name, God's Name is Jesus Christ, the Anointed One. That is His Name. He had many titles, but one Name, the only, "Not another Name under heaven given among men, whereby you must be saved." We find that that's true.

Also this warning, that, "When this other one comes, that he come in his own name, 'Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal,' so forth, you'll receive him. You'll join up with him." But Christ is turned down. They turn That down.

WATER.BAPTISM_  JEFF.IN  EM 15-40  SUNDAY_  59-0329M

52    Now, here's the Son. On the day of His baptizing in Jordan, John bear record seeing the Spirit of God like a dove, coming and dwelling on Him. Jesus said, "It's not Me that doeth the works; it's My Father that dwelleth in Me."

Now, "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost" has one Name, them three titles, and what did the Bible say that Name was? Jesus. So that must've been the revelation that the apostles had, for that's the way they baptized. "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost" is not a name, none of them are names. The Name of the Father, Son, Holy Ghost is the Lord Jesus Christ. That's the Name of the Father, Son,  Holy Ghost.

TRYING.TO.DO.GOD.A.SERVICE_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-8  SUNDAY_  65-0718M

35    Well then, in them days they had only one meeting place where they could meet God, and that was at the ark under the blood. That's the only meeting place yet: under the Blood. The mercy seat was sprinkled to give mercy to the worshipper or the asker when he come to ask the petition of God. And God had a special routine, the way you had to go to--about that, and He wouldn't accept anything else. He wouldn't accept any other provision, just the way He fixed it.

Recently I just preached on a message (Many of you know about it.), that only one provided place that God meets the worshipper, the place that He said, "I'll put My Name." If we can find a church that He put His Name in, then we got the place. He said, "I will not bless you in all the gates, just the gates that I put My Name in. I'll put it in one place, and you've got to meet Me there; and that's the only place I'll meet you." And we found out through there where He put His Name. And that's the only place that He meets the worshipper; and His Name was Jesus Christ. God's Name is Jesus Christ.

392-143    Now, ten days later Peter said, "Repent, every one of you and be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, see how the extreme Trinitarian idea... See, they try to make three gods out of that. There's no three gods. I'd like to read that to you out of the original Greek here. The only way they were baptized in Jesus' Name was, and the Bible said in the original Greek, was to make them recognize that He was God.

Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is offices of one God. He was the Father; He was the Son; He is the Holy Ghost. It's three offices or three dispensations, the Fatherhood, the Sonship, and the Holy Ghost dispensation. But Father, Son, and Holy Ghost has one Name, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every person from that day on was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, and they found some that was baptized in no Name at all, and the original Greek said right here and both the Hebrew, that the baptism in the Name of Jesus is for the forgiveness of sins, both Greek and Hebrew. Remish--"remit" means, "to forgive," of course. If I remit anything, is to take it away, to remit it--"take it away."

MANIFESTED.SONS.OF.GOD_  JEFF.IN  AD.2  WEDNESDAY_  60-0518

230    And I know that I'm talking in here even to trinitarian ministers. And my brethren, I do not say this; I do not say this to hurt. I'm a trinitarian too; I believe in the trinity, the--the three attributes of God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, but not three Gods. See? I believe there to be three attributes, absolutely; I do that with all my heart: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but they are not three Gods. They're just three attribute. Or other, three offices of God. God lived once in the Fatherhood, Sonship, and now the Holy Ghost. It's the same God in three offices. And they have...

And Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, is not no Name of God. God has one Name, and His Name is Jesus. The Bible said the family in heaven is named Jesus, and the family in earth is named Jesus. That's right. So God had one Name, human Name. He was--had a name called Jehovah-Jireh, Jehovah-Rapha, that was His titles of Deity. But He had one Name, Jesus. That's Him.

And truly, my brethren, if you disagree with me, remember, I--I--I'll meet you over there, anyhow. See? I'll--I'll be there with you. And God bless you. And I love you.
