BOOK.OF.EXODUS.1_  CHICAGO.IL  WEDNESDAY_  55-1005

E-8    Jesus said, "Except a man be borned again, he cannot understand the Kingdom of heaven." There's no way of understanding it until you are borned again, and then God reveals Himself to you, and then you know that you've passed from death unto Life, because no man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Spirit. See?

The only way that you'll ever know that Jesus is the Christ, is when the Holy Spirit personally witnesses to you that He is the resurrected Lord Jesus. No matter what He would do, what kind of signs, what kind of miracles, you'll never know it until your personal experience with God.

You say, "Well, I believe it because the Bible said so." Well, that's good. The Bible, it's true. It knows it. "Well, the preacher said so." Perhaps, he knows it. "Mother said so." She knows it. But what do you know about it? You'll never know it until it's revealed to you individually by the Holy Spirit. And then, by accepting it, you become a new creature in Christ Jesus, borned a second time.

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS_  JEFF.IN  COD  SUNDAY_  59-0628E

369-47    Now, now, I knowed that great Scripture; I use It myself--I've got It written here: St. John the 5th chapter, 24th verse. It's a pet Scripture to me. For Jesus said this: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, 'He that believeth on Me has Eternal Life.'" Let me read it, so that I'll get It just perfectly right. St. John 5, and I want you to listen close now as we go into this Scripture, 5 and the 24th verse.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my words, and believeth on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

"He that believeth on Me..." Now, the Scripture says that no man can say Jesus is the Christ only by the Holy Ghost. So you cannot believe that Jesus is the Christ until you have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You're only testifying or saying what the Scripture says, saying what the pastor says, saying what mother says, or some good preacher says. But you don't know it yourself until He has witnessed His resurrection to you. No man can call Jesus the Christ until by the Holy Ghost.

WHY.CRY.SPEAK_  CLARKSVILLE.IN  SUNDAY_  59-1004E

E-29    Jesus said, "The works that I do, he that believeth on Me..." Saint John 14:7, "He that believeth on Me the works that I do shall he do also. He that believeth on Me..." No man can believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God until he's received the Holy Ghost. You're only taking it by faith and accepting it. You can't say that it is. You can say, "I believe it is." But no man can call Jesus the Christ until the Holy Ghost is in him. The Bible said so. The Holy Spirit has to come in first, then It gives a witness. You know yourself that Jesus is the Christ because He lives in you.

SUPER.SENSE_  JEFF.IN  V-20 N-7  SUNDAY_  59-1227E

60    Now, you cannot believe it until you are regenerated. The Bible said that no man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost. We went through that this last week. And it's been such a stumbling block, especially to the Pentecostal believing people, when they hear me say that. Jesus said in Saint John 5:24, "He that heareth My Word and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Eternal Life." Eternal Life comes from God alone. "And no man can say Jesus is the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost."

You're only taking what somebody else said, what you learned by intellectual, what you learned by the natural five senses. But when the sixth sense comes in, the Holy Spirit, It takes away all the reasonings of these six senses--and five senses, and lifts you up into that sixth sense, to make you believe things that you can't see, taste, feel, smell, or hear. It does something to you. Then you can say Jesus is the Christ, because you have witnessed it; not what intellectual teaching has taught you, but what you've experienced.

PATMOS.VISION_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 69-130  SUNDAY_  60-1204E

71    Now, ask God to... While we're talking on Revelations, ask Him to give you a revelation of this. For it can only be known by revelation, and you can only be saved by revelation. You have a knowledge of it intellectually, but you can't be saved until it's revealed to you. "No man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost." That's what the Bible says. No man can say Jesus is the Christ until he has received the Holy Ghost. He might say, "The pastor said so; the Bible said so." Them are true. "The church says so." That is true. But you don't know yourself until the Holy Ghost has revealed it to you, and He's become in you. "No man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Ghost." Not by knowledge, not by intellectual.

ANGEL.OF.THE.LORD_  TOLEDO.OH  WEDNESDAY_  51-0718

E-18    Even the Son of God, He said, "I can do nothing except the Father shows Me first." And if He couldn't, how much more I, as a man, a sinner, and He never was a sinner. And He was borned the virgin Son of God. And I was borned in sin, shaped in iniquity, come to the world speaking lies, worthy to go to hell, but He redeemed me. And only hands He has on earth tonight, is my hands, and your hands. The only mouth that He has, is my mouth and your mouth.

"I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." Is that His Word? See? Then it's Him, "It's not you that speaketh," He said, "but your heavenly Father that dwelleth in you, He doeth, will tell you at that hour." You see?

INFALLIBLE.WORD.OF.GOD_  CHICAGO.IL  FRIDAY_  56-0406

E-63    That was Jesus yesterday. Now, that... If He--that was Jesus yesterday, and He's got to be Jesus the same today if the Bible's true, and we know it is, then how could we touch Him today? Say, "Brother Branham, you said you was a fundamentalist, what about the Scripture for that?"

The Bible said, that, "He is our High Priest that can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities." Is that right?

Then if your--that woman's faith could touch Him then, what was she touching? Not Jesus, she touched His clothes. But what did she really touch? She touched God. And she could... Jesus didn't know who it was. The Father hadn't showed Him that, but she drawed from God her desire, and Jesus was God's mouthpiece. So He spoke to her, what she done it, and how she done it, and told her she was healed. Now, Jesus was gone away and setting in the Presence of God with His own Blood as a High Priest. Now, He has to use His Church tonight for a mouthpiece. Is that right? "Take no thought what ye shall say, for it's not you that speaketh but your Father that dwelleth in you; He speaketh." Then your faith touches God.

JEHOVAH.JIREH_  BROOKLYN.NY  SUNDAY_  56-1209E

E-98    See, He can... We are the--the branches to the Vine. In Saint John 15 He said, "I am the Vine, you are the branches." Now, the only hands that He has tonight on earth, His body is setting in the--at the throne of God. And the only hands that He has is ours. The lips He has is ours. It's not you that speaketh, but your Father that dwelleth in you. He doeth the speaking. You understand? It's not my eyes that sees; it's His eyes that sees through mine and gives the vision.

Now, that's just a gift. That was nothing, don't mean you're any more than anybody else. It's just a man. And I'll--I'll have to answer for my calling. And you'll have to answer for yours. And I want to be reverent. And you know, lady, without any shadow of doubt, in the last minute or two since you've been standing there, something's going on. You're aware of that.

Now, if you ever seen that Angel picture, that's just what is there now; between you and I is a Light. And it's Christ, the same One that appeared to Paul. If you'd see It with your physical eyes, It would do the same thing, perhaps, as there. But now, as the Spirit anoints, I can see It, because it's another world. It's another dimension.

IMPERSONATION.OF.CHRISTIANITY_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  57-0120M

E-48    No, no, that ain't the way the Holy Ghost behaves Itself. No, no. See? Ticks her off in decency. As Paul stood before Agrippa, and brought the Word, he said, "O Agrippa..."

And Agrippa said, "Paul, thou almost persuadeth me to be a Christian."

He said, "Agrippa, is it strange to you, being a Jew, that the Bible has already said and talked about Jehovah? Is it a strange thing to you, that God would raise the dead?"

Not, "Agrippa, Hallelujah. Glory to God, Agrippa. Hallelujah." No, that was crazy.

"But Agrippa, the Scripture said..."

See where the mainspring ticks you to, right back... You don't have to worry about it. It's all in God's program. It ticks you right back. "Don't get no thought what you'll say," said Jesus, "it's not you that speaketh, it's your Father that dwelleth in you. He's doing the speaking."

AWAKENING.JESUS_  TEMPE.AZ  THURSDAY_  63-0117

E-59    Let us remember also that He created our bodies. Won't our bodies obey His command? "Spit out that cancer," He says to the body, and away it goes. You just take that Word and plant It in here and see what happens. Sure. Yes, sir, our bodies has to obey His command. You say you're a Christian; I believe you are. You believe... What are you resting in? Someday He'll raise our bodies up after they've absolutely, completely, perished.

If you don't believe that, why do you go to church? If there's no resurrection aren't we amongst men most miserable? But His Word of promise, "He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. (Amen.) I am the Resurrection and Life. (Amen.) He that eats My flesh and drinks My Blood has Eternal Life, and I'll raise him up at the last days." My. Why? The body, the ashes, the volcanic ashes that we're made out of, obey His command because He's the Creator of it.

The life that's within us is not only a creative Life, but it's part of His own Life. That's the reason we have the authority to speak to a devil, 'cause it's God's own creative Life, if you're anointed. See? Correctly. Not you, it's not you that speaketh, but the Father that dwelleth in you. "Take no thought what you'll say 'cause it'll be added at that time." Just go on. Stay with it. Oh, I love that.

WHAT.HOLY.GHOST.WAS.GIVEN.FOR_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-3  THURSDAY_  59-1217

74    "If ye abide in Me and My Word's in you, ask what you will," because you're asking His Word, and His Word is Life. Speak it; if God said it and you're sure He said it, the Holy Ghost bears record that Word's right, then there you are, brother. Speak it. There it is. "Say to this mountain, 'Be moved.' Don't doubt in your heart, but believe that what you said's going to come to pass." It's not you that speaketh, but the Father that dwelleth in you, He doeth the talking. It's not you talking to that mountain; it's the Father that's in you speaking to that mountain; it has to move. "All heavens and earth will pass away," He said, "but My Spirit shall not--or My Word shall not pass away." Certainly, It cannot pass away. "Father..."

JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME_  MIDDLETOWN.OH  SUNDAY_  58-0323

E-37    Here He told a mortal man, "Say to the mountain and believe that it's being done." Only Deity can move a mountain. Only God can do it. Then if He told a man could--could do it, it would have to be God speaking through the man. And the only way a man could know it was God, would be the right objective, or, and the right motive.

If your objective is right and your motive is right, then it's not you speaking anymore. It's the Father that dwelleth in you. "Take no thought what ye shall say in that hour; for it's not ye that speaks; it's My Father that dwelleth in you. He doeth the speaking."

CONFERENCE.WITH.GOD_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  59-1220M

E-75    Now, the Bible said that He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. That's the same in principle, the same in power, the same in attitude; the same God that lived in Christ lives in the Church, not as much of It. He had It without measure, we have It by measure. But if you had a spoonful of water out of the ocean, the same chemicals is in the whole ocean is in the spoonful. Remember that. That's right. It's the same God.

Now, the Bible said in Hebrews, he said that Jesus Christ, right now, is a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities. How many knows that? Well, if He is the same High Priest, wouldn't He act the same way if He was touched? What are we? His mouthpiece. We submit ourselves to Him, and our words are not our words. "Take no thought what you shall say, 'cause it's not you that speaks," it's the Father that dwelleth in you, He speaks.

JEHOVAH.JIREH.PT.1_  GRASS.VALLEY.CA  JJ 37-72  THURSDAY_  62-0705

137    A psychic belief, mental belief without a born again experience, emotional, ecclesiastical creed... If true genuine Holy Spirit's in there, will punctuate that Word; and that Word will live just exactly like It said It would, because It's the same Spirit spoke It, is speaking It through you. It has to live. Certainly, it is. Not you that speaketh, but the Father that dwelleth in you, He's the One does the speaking. All right.

COUNTDOWN.THE_  SHREVEPORT.LA  SUNDAY_  62-1125E

E-56    How many wants to be an astronaut for God? God, grant it. Now, the Bible said that He's a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities. (I'm fixing to call a prayer line.) You believe that? He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Now, if He is in us, in you, in I, then He will live through us, work through us, preach through us, act through us, do through us, because it's not us--not ye that speaketh, but the Father that dwelleth in you will do the speaking. Just like He says, "Not Me that doeth the works. It's My Father that dwelleth in Me doeth the works." You all believe that.
