15-3 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1

Now remember this. Christ in the True Church is a continuation of the Book of Acts. But the Book of Revelation shows how that the antichrist spirit would come into the church and defile it, making it lukewarm, formal and powerless. It exposes Satan, revealing his works (attempted destruction of God's people and the discrediting of God's word) right down to the time he is cast into the lake of fire. He fights that. He cannot stand it. He knows that if the people get the TRUE REVELATION of the TRUE CHURCH and what she is, what she stands for and that SHE CAN DO THE GREATER WORKS, she will be an invincible army. If they get a true revelation of the two spirits within the framework of the Christian church, and by God's Spirit discern and withstand the antichrist spirit, Satan will be powerless before her. He will be as definitely thwarted today as when Christ withstood his every effort to gain power over Him in the desert. Yes, Satan hates revelation. But we love it. With true revelation in our lives, the gates of hell cannot prevail against us, but we will prevail over them.

13-1    It has to be, because a woman and her husband become one. They become one, and so does the Bride and Christ become One. The ministry of the Bride and the ministry of Christ is the same.

You remember, "These former treatise, oh, Theophilus, have I wrote to you, that Jesus begin to do and continues to do..." His death didn't stop Him. No, sir. He returned again, not a third person, but the same Person returned back again in the form of the Holy Ghost; and It continues to work on and continues on, said the Book of Acts.

"Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today, and forever." That's the Token. That's the sign.

156    Now, what is a candlestick? It is a lampstand. And notice how beautiful here, when he turned, he saw this One like the Son of man here standing in the midst of the seven golden lampstands, which means seven church ages to come. And each pipe, or--or lampstand, hooked into the main big oil censer... And in this oil come forth up to a little odd-shaped lamp that set with a wick in it, and the wick hung down into the oil. And as long... They poured oil into the top of the stand, which filled up the main big stem, and the big branch as it run out into the stems, like this. And the lamp with the wick hanging down, this--this pipe into the--kept burning day and night. You never had to light it; it never went out; they just kept pouring oil in the main pipe. And these lampstands would come out like this, had the lamps setting on top of them. The wick from the lamp run down into here, got it's life out of here. Oh, what different it is from a candle. How different. It's a lampstand, and it's pulling oil.

211-2 PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5

Now then, there is also the thought of the future partaking of the hidden manna. I think it will be the eternal partaking of the revelation of Jesus Christ in the eternal ages to come. How else could we begin to know the unsearchable riches of His own Being? All that we have longed to know, all our unanswered questions, all that will be revealed. It will be from Christ Who is our life that we receive it. Oh, sometimes we think we get to know a little of Him and His Word down here, and it is so good, it makes us rejoice; but one day when our flesh changes, that Word and He will become what we had never dreamed possible.

49-4 PATMOS.VISION  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.2

THE GOLDEN LAMPSTANDS

Revelation 1:12, "And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks." John does not say that he turned to see the one whose voice he heard, but he turned to see the voice. Oh, I like that. He turned to see the voice. The voice and the person are one and the same. Jesus is the WORD. John 1:1-3, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made." If you can ever get to really see the Word you will be seeing Jesus.

180    Now, if you ever notice, watch these church ages; then we'll close. And then in the morning we're going to pick up these other things. Watch. In the... Under the--the golden candlesticks of the Jewish tabernacle in the inside, of the shewbread and so forth, there was seven golden candlesticks. All of you know that. See? There's seven church ages. That speaks of seven church ages alike.

Now if you notice in Revelations 1, we find Jesus standing in the seven church ages, the seven golden candlesticks, when he turned and saw One like the Son of man standing clothed with a... How it was, it was a Bride standing in the candlesticks drawed out.

Now, in the Old Testament, they would take these, this one candle and light it, take the other candle and light off of that one, light off of that one, one off the other one like that, till they made the entire seven candlesticks.
