72 Like you women claiming you
got Holy Ghost and going out here and wearing shorts and things, how could you
do it? How could the Spirit of God in you ever let you do such a thing as that?
It just can't be so. Certainly it can't be. He's not a filthy spirit; He's a
holy Spirit.
And then
when you become subject to that Spirit, it throws your whole being subject to
that Spirit. And that Spirit is nothing in the world but this Seed Word made
manifest, or quickened (Hallelujah.), made alive. And when the Bible said,
"Don't do this," that body quickly turns to it; there's no question.
And what is it? It's the earnest of the resurrection. This body will be raised
up again, because it's already started. It was once subject to sin, and mire,
and corruption, but now it's got the earnest; it's turned heavenly. Now, that's
the earnest that you're going in the rapture. It's the earnest.
A sick
person laying dying, nothing left but death, that's all can happen. I've seen
the shadows of people done eat up with cancer and tuberculosis, and see them
persons a little while after that perfectly normal and strong. If there is no Divine healing
then there's no resurrection, 'cause Divine healing is the earnest of the
resurrection. Amen.
You know what the earnest money is

shouting. Think of it. And people tell me they got faith and say they can't
believe in Divine healing? Friends, if you don't believe in Divine healings,
you're lost. That's right. How you going to, if you can't have faith enough for God to
patch up this body to glorify Him in, how much more you going to have faith to
believe that God will take this old mortal and make immortality out of it to
take it up. That's a direct Divine healing. Oh, my, there's going to
be some awful disappointments at the day of judgment, at the resurrection.

in this tabernacle of humiliation, we have the earnest of our perfect, complete
redemption back like we was in the beginning when God created Adam in the
garden of Eden. We have a foretaste of glory divine by the baptism of the Holy
Ghost, the refreshment coming from the Presence of God to water the Church to
make it grow in grace. And when we're sick we have redemption, the blessing,
the attributes of the death of Christ. Divine healing as a fore-sign to us that someday this

tonight? Is them miracles impossible tonight? No, they're not. And they're just
as possible as they was then. If God would deliver His people out of the
bondage back there, from under the Egyptians, so can He deliver the people from
under the bondage of sickness; because He died for that purpose.
That's in
the plan of redemption. You are redeemed. You're... When you get the baptism of
the Holy Spirit, that's the earnest of your salvation. Is that right? In other
words, it's a down payment. And if it'll make us feel like this on a down
payment, what will it do when we get the full benefit of it? It'll be glorious,
won't it?
Well then, do you believe that you'll
raise again and have an immortal body? How many believes that, in the... in the
resurrection, that you'll raise and have an immortal body? Divine healing is
the down payment, or the earnest money of your immortal body. My! See what I
mean? You've got to have... It's the evidence that you will have an immortal

resurrection of the body. Divine healing is the earnest of our redeemed body.
Did you ever think of that? If there's no Divine healing, then when you go at
the grave, that's all of it. You'll be there forever, and your dust will go
away, and there'll be no more of you. See? If there... We have the earnest of
our salvation, and completeness, back the way we was in the garden of Eden.
And I
think that the power of God that would take a cancer-ridden woman here, that
the doctor's has just given a few days, and she's one of the thousands that's
on records, not just the man, the person's testimony, but the doctors
testimony, one of the thousands. And her eaten up (with a few hours to live),
by cancer, and by the earnest of her redeemed body will put her in the
condition it is now, what will it be when she draws the full value off of the
resurrection of Jesus Christ? That's just the down... You know what the down...
the earnest is? The earnest is the down payment on anything that holds it, a
surety, secures it. Now, she's just got the earnest of it by being healed with
a--a hideous cancer, that would've taken her life, and here she is setting well
and normal.
