34-4 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1

Would you like an Old Testament type? Let us go back to the Garden of Eden. When the first news came to glory that the son, Adam, had been lost, did God send an angel? Did He send a son? Did He send another one like unto us? No, He came HIMSELF to redeem that lost son. Hallelujah! God did not entrust His plan of salvation to another. He trusted only Himself. God was made flesh and dwelt among us and redeemed us unto Himself. We're saved by the "blood of God". The Eternal God in-dwelt a mortal body in order to take away sin. He became the Lamb in order to shed His blood and enter into the veil with it.

154-3 SMYRNAEAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.4

Before I close this subject, I know there is a question in your minds. You will want to know if I believe in the doctrine of pre-existence. I don't believe in that Mormon doctrine of the pre-existence of souls any more than I believe in reincarnation or the transmigration of souls. Be careful here and see this. It is not the person that comes predestinated eternally from God, IT IS THE WORD, OR SEED. That is it. Way back there, too far back for the human mind to grasp, the Eternal God with eternal thoughts, thought and decreed, "JACOB HAVE I LOVED, BUT ESAU HAVE I HATED, (Romans 9:13) AND NEITHER WAS BORN, AND NEITHER HAD DONE GOOD OR EVIL." See, it was the THOUGHT, and then that thought became expressed, and God bought back Jacob, because Jacob alone was SEED. Jacob, alone had the seed; that is why he had respect to the birthright and covenant of God. If you are true seed, you will hear that Word; the Spirit will baptize you into the body of Christ, filling you and empowering you, and you will receive the Word for your day and age. See how clear the true evidence becomes when the Word is revealed to you? Again, note, Jesus was the Royal Seed. He lived in a human body. When the Spirit called to Him (the Word-Manifested Thought), He went to Jordan and was there baptized in water. Upon obeying the Word, the Holy Spirit came upon Him and the voice said, "This is My beloved Son, hear ye Him." The voice did not say, "This has become My Son," Jesus WAS the Son. The Holy Ghost positioned Him as that Son before them all. Then having been filled thus (and the same pattern holds at Pentecost and ever after), He went in demonstrated power, receiving the full revelation of God and from God, for that day.

98    Also used in Matthew 3:16, again when God's wrath was on the earth. And there was no way, the darkest of night, midnight, the churches had got things in such a twist till there was no way to get out of it. And there was false teachers, all kinds of things coming up, all kinds of professions coming up, but God used a dove again. It pleased Him; His Son Jesus had pleased Him so well, that He identified Him.

Now, they couldn't believe that this Baby that was born down there in that stable in a manger of hay, before his father and mother, supposingly to be, was married. They couldn't imagine God using anything like that. So He had to be identified to the world; and that day down on the river, when He walked down to prove Hisself God's Masterpiece (that I talked about this morning)... When He was obedient to walk into the water...

115    Well, there can't be a mistake. Now, everyone of these things...

Now, see, if it wasn't that very setup, John would've been like any of the rest of us; so they say, "Yeah, I--I know Who you are, Lord."

"Well," He said, "wait a minute, I'm the Word. 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word.' Eve left off one, but you got to take every Word. And I am that Sacrifice, and I must be washed before I'm presented. But what you said, John, is true."

John being a prophet, knowing the Word had to be fulfilled, he suffered that and baptized Him. And when He was raised up out of the water, there come the Message from heaven on the wings of a Dove, "This is My beloved Son." He sent the redemption Message of grace on the wings of a Dove, come flying down out of the heavens. "Peace on earth, good will toward men." The Sacrifice was ready right then; It's been raised, fed, His ministry was ready, a Word that would redeem the whole world, "It's over."

POSSESSING.THE.ENEMY'S.GATES_  JEFF.IN  V-11 N-6  SUNDAY_  59-1108

78    Now, I might say this, that all of you's heard of the meetings, how it goes, though, have you? All peoples been in the meetings? See, when our Lord Jesus was here on earth, He did not claim to be a Healer. He was the Seed of Abraham, certainly, and He had the promise with Him. He said He did nothing till the Father showed Him. Is that right? And He said, "I can do nothing till the Father shows me what to do." And He saw it by... Not "till the Father tells Me"; "till the Father shows Me." St. John 5:19, "What I see the Father doing, that doeth the Son likewise."

Now, when He wa--He come, we find out in the beginning of His ministry, that after He was taken the--the seed of David, spiritually speaking, the--when the Holy Spirit come upon Him at the baptism of John, and He become the Anointed Messiah... Now, remember, He was the Son of God when He was borned. He was God's virgin-born Son. But when He become Messiah, that's when the Holy Spirit come on Him, 'cause the "Messiah" means the "anointed one." See? And He was the Anointed One when the Holy Spirit came on Him. You heard me preach on the Lamb and Dove. Then we find out when He... After His forty days of temptation, He came out.

REVELATION.CHAPTER.ONE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 9-67  SUNDAY_  60-1204M

Looky here. In the beginning when Adam... I just can't get away from that, seem like somebody's not a-getting it somewhere. Look. In the beginning... Let me show you something again, the Holy Spirit warns me to do this. I'm leaving my subject for a minute. When the first news come to glory that the son had been lost, Adam, did God send an Angel? Did He send a Son? Did He send anyone else? He came Hisself to redeem His lost son. Hallelujah. God didn't trust it with no one but Himself. God was made flesh and dwelled among us and redeemed man Himself. It's the... "We are saved," the Bible said, "by the Blood of God." The mortal God was... The immortal God was made mortal in order to take away sin, to be the Lamb Himself, to enter into glory, veiled, and with His own Blood before Him beyond the veil.

THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-5  SUNDAY_  60-0925

10-6    God had required it. No man was worthy. No man was able. No man could do it. And God came Himself, and was made human, and lived a human life under human desires, and was crucified at Calvary and there, when Satan thought He wouldn't do it, He wouldn't go through it... He went to Gethsemane, and every temptation that any man ever stood; He went through it just like all men; but He paid the price; that's what blacked the earth out like an anesthetic for an operation.

When a doctor gives a man an anesthetic, he first knocks him out before he can do it. And when God gave the--the operation for the church, the world got an anesthetic. Nature had a convulsion.

No wonder, God in human flesh was dying. It was the hour that the world had looked for, yet many of them did not know it. Like it is today, many look for these things and yet they don't recognize them. They don't realize the way out. They're still trying to seek pleasures and things of the world, trying to find their way out.
