HEAR.YE.HIM_  INDIANAPOLIS.IN  MONDAY_  56-0611

E-10    Jesus our Lord, as He walked here on earth, He did not just go about from place to place with great entertainments, and the applause of men, and the applauding of the audiences, and of the great flowery things that the men of this world, or the teachers, would praise Him by. But every footstep that He made was ordered by the Lord. Oh, I just love that, when He said even at twelve years old, "Know ye not that I must be about My Father's business?" How that brings us then to shame when we're so all the time gadding around. And the Bible said, "That the footsteps of the righteous is ordered of the Lord." We should walk in His ordination for us. Walk like a Christian; talk like a Christian; live like a Christian.

And we see Him meeting with the councils of men. Oh, He meets sometime with great councils of men. One time we see Him meet with five hundred, again with seventy, one time with twelve, once with three. And He even promised that "wherever two or three were gathered, I'll be in their midst." It's God's ordination for Him to meet in the council. No matter how small, it's His duty, and His privilege, and His love to keep the commandments of God to meet with you wherever two or more are gathered in My Name. He will meet with one in a secret closet, and there where their hearts are poured out God promised to meet.

SUPER.SIGN_  JEFF.IN  V-15 N-7  SUNDAY_  59-1227M

92    Someone, as I have said before, wants to make Him a little short God. He was man; God was using a man. God was using a flesh that He created Himself in order to create through Him and to "Bring through Him many sons," says the Scripture, "through that obedient Son. Through one son all fell; through an obedient Son all shall live that believe." God with us, a sign, said that would be a sign. Jesus so loved to refer to Himself as Son of man, man Himself, just a man, "I am nothing; the Son can do nothing in Himself." But it's the Father [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.] was in Him, the Immanuel, the God, the--the baby, God, Jehovah God, that little baby cried, that was Jehovah. Did you see it? God living in a baby. God living in a teenage. What type of a teenager was He? He set the example. When He was lost by His father and His mother, they looked about to find Him, and they found Him in the temple, What did He say, as a teenager? "Know you not? Wist thou not that I must be about My Father's business?" Example for teenagers.

IDENTIFIED.CHRIST.OF.ALL.AGES_  LOUISVILLE.MS  WEDNESDAY_  64-0401

E-27    But watch the Word of God. Said, "Know you not that I must be about My Father's business?" The Word always corrects the error by identifying God among them, a twelve year-old child. If He'd been--Joseph had been His father He'd have been building houses and cabinets. But He was out there tearing down them denominations of that day. He was about His Father's business. See what He was doing? "Now, know ye not that I must be about My Father's business?" See? Told His mother... See how that... He was the Word. He is the Word. And the Word corrects the error by the identifying of God's characteristic. Amen.

QA.HEBREWS.PART.1_  JEFF.IN  COD  WEDNESDAY_  57-0925

210-8    Father, it is noted that when You were twelve years old, You were found in the temple with the scribes and the sages, discussing with them the Scriptures. And they were--they were astonished at a... Men of old, and well trained in the Scriptures, and yet see a little boy of about twelve years old could just--just confound him in the explaining of the Scriptures. You was about Your Father's business. You said to Your mother, "Knowest thou not that I must be about My Father's business," to explain the Scriptures with their spiritual meanings?

And now, we pray, Lord, that--that Thou knowing how weak and frail we are and how subject we are to mistakes, that You'll just come with us tonight in the form of the Holy Spirit and will explain the Scriptures to us. I'm waiting and depending on You. And if I'd ever, at any time, try to put my own thoughts or interpretation or some selfish thing to try to make it sound like that the way I was explaining it would be right, close my mouth, Lord, like You would--You did the lions when they come after Daniel. Thou art still the same God.

HEAR.HIS.VOICE_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  58-1005M

E-37    Now, Jesus at twelve, which was our example, said, "Don't you know I should be about My Father's business?"

No wonder the voice of God is a rare thing today. It's smothered out by so many different voices, so many things that dim and take away. It's got to a place until it dulls our senses, until we can't hear the Voice of God. Our senses, of where we ought to shake ourself and realize that you are men and women, and you are the creation of God, and you were put here to serve Him, but Satan's voice and false prophets... "Oh, be modern."

SEED.NOT.HEIR.WITH.SHUCK_  JEFF.IN  V-6 N-4  THURSDAY_  65-0218

145    But watch, there will not be any more organizations after this. Watch. The Word Itself, yet twelve years old, just a little bitty thing back in the shuck, He said, "Don't you know I must be about My Father's business?" The Word corrected the church right there.

"What are you doing all these things for? You know you can't do this. We'll close up our doors. We won't let you come any more."

"Know ye not that I must be about My Father's business?" Sure, sure, the true supernatural charm...

She just claimed Him to be Joseph's son, a mere man, or what Pentecost did, just claimed Him to be one of three (Whew, I know that hurt.), one of three, but He was all three in one. But the Pentecostal, "Oh, yes, He is the Son of the Father of the Holy Ghost..." Oh, my. But the real true Word speaks right out and said they're not three of them; there's one of them. Amen. Ye know not the Word of God. Make, not three of them, but one...

SEED.NOT.HEIR.WITH.SHUCK_  JEFF.IN  V-6 N-4  THURSDAY_  65-0218

149    Notice, there will be no more carrier, mother churches, denominations, after this carrier shuck, because after the shuck there's no more... There's nothing left but them and just the grain. Is that right? Got to be the grain. It's got to be the same kind that went into the ground: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.

A Spirit come upon the Bride to do the same things that He did. See, it's the reproducing again of the grain.

The Word, yet young, spake for Itself. "And know not that I must be about My Father's business?"

There's the secret of the Message now. Just exactly, the Father's business. What is the Father's business? Could you think of what the Father's business was to Him? To fulfill what Isaiah said, "A virgin shall conceive." Fulfill what Isaiah said again, "The lame shall leap like a hart," and all these thing that'd take place; like Moses said, "The Lord your God shall raise up a prophet among you liken unto me." It was the Father's business to fulfill that Word. Well, if that come down through them stalks of them natural women, what about these stalks of these spiritual church women? Churches means women--women means churches, rather. Is that right? Then what is it now? "We must be about the Father's business," the wheat would cry back, the grain. Yes, sir. What must it do? Vindicate Malachi 4; vindicate Luke 17:30; vindicate Hebrews 13:8; vindicate St. John 14:12; vindicate all of His Word: vindicate Hebrews--I mean, Revelation the 10th chapter, of the opening of the Seven Seals; and the mysteries of God, even to serpent's seed, and all would be manifested: Marriage and divorce and all these other mysteries that's been hid under the pillars from all these years from the theologians and so forth, but it's now the hour. That's the Father's business. Think they would receive it? They want to be dignified and say, "Our denomination don't teach us that." But the Bible does. That's right. God vindicates it to be true. Sure it is.
