EXPECTATIONS.AND.WHAT.LOVE.IS_  PHOENIX.AZ  SUNDAY_  54-0228A

E-21    And now, there's two things that man can't do, forgive sins or heal. It's not given to man to do that, never was. It's given... It was only in Jesus Christ. And there, a man by the preaching of the Word can point you to that, and you can accept your salvation or healing, for He was wounded for our transgressions, with His stripes we were (past tense) healed.

Now, there's many of the ministers, such as Brother Roberts and many of them who go out in the ministry and they take the Word and explain it so close. Brother Bosworth, Brother Osborn, many of the men that's been here in the city with you people, that they're scholars in the Word; they teach Divine healing by the atonement. They make it so plain and clear till you have to see it; that's all. So then you just raise up by faith and accept it. That's the way to do it.

E-2    And then, we pray for the sick; that's part of the Gospel as our Lord Jesus has told us that we should go into the world and preach the Gospel and pray for the sick. And we have these nights, along in our campaigns that we pray for the sick. We do not claim to be a healer now. We just claim that we pray for the sick, like anyone else does.

We believe that all that God can do for you has already been purchased for you at Calvary. When He died at Calvary, He finished the plan of salvation, redemption for the soul and body. And now, we draw the earnest of our salvation, which is the Holy Spirit. And then also we have the--the earnest of our resurrection; that is, that when our bodies are sick, God is our Healer. I believe that it is upon a finished work that was completed for us at Calvary some nineteen hundred years ago, when Christ died for us to redeem us from these things.

I do not believe that there's anyone that could forgive sins, less it's a sin against them. If you'd sinned against me, then ask me to forgive you, I could do that, and would do it. But I believe that the sins that you have committed against God, that God is the only One can forgive those sins.

111-1    I know the harlot claims it, and they do remit sins by their denominational power. But look at their children: every dance hall, cut their hair, painted up like clowns, men out living with other men's wives, flirting run around on the street, mixed bathing, everything else. Sure, they forgive; they remit sins in their own way, but their fruit shows what it is. It's not right for them. No, sir. What do they do? They wear shorts, cut their hair, wear makeup. Jesus said, "By their fruits they are known," the kind of seed that they are. There's what it is.

Denominational seed gives denominational forgiveness. That's exactly right. God said, "Let the Word be after Its kind," and so it is. That's right. Oh, brother, the Scriptures is true. You believe it?

CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-13  SUNDAY_  60-1113

19-3    One man in her called the man of sin... They forgive sins on earth, taking the doctrine and giving out to the people and they drink it. The peoples of the earth, the kings, the Bible says, has been made drunk with the wine of her fornications. What is her fornications? Her untrueness. A woman commits fornications lives untrue to her husband. A church that commits fornications preaches something that's not God's Word: hybreeds the church.

What did she do? She bred in some daughters too. Now, what is the daughters of the Catholic church? Where'd Luther come from and on down the line, them denominations and organizations? See where it come in? But the true church of God is weaved in among every one of them. Methodists, Baptists, Presbyterians, and all through there, the real true Blood-bought church of God. Like that scarlet streak that the spies was let down on. They're mixed up in there, but their denominations can't save them.

200    Now, you Catholic priests, show me your forgiveness of sin. A Catholic priest told me one time, said, "Didn't Jesus say, 'Whoever sins you remit, to them they are remitted'?"

I said, "He said it."

"'Whosoever's sins you retain, to them they are retained'?"

"Yeah."

"That's whoever you forgive, they're forgiven; whoever you don't forgive, they're not forgiven."

I said, "That's correctly what it said."

He said, "Then didn't Christ give His church, which we are His church, the power to forgive sins on earth?"

"Certainly did." I said, "Now, if you'll forgive them the same way that they forgive them, I'll go with you." Yeah. I said, "How'd they forgive them? Did they tell them, go do a novena or something, or the way you do?" No, sir.

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

205    Peter said, "Repent." Amen. There's the key, "Repent, every one of you, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and then you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." The key went "click" on earth, and went "click" in heaven. That's it.

That's the reason when Paul met some that already been baptized by the same man that baptized Jesus, he said, "Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?"

They said, "We know not whether there be a Holy Ghost."

He said, "To what..." You take your Greek word, said, "How was you baptized?"

They said, "Unto John."

Said, "That won't work any more. Heaven's done closed. You have to come and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ."

So they heard this; they were baptized over again in the Name of Jesus Christ. And when they did, Paul laid his hands on them; the Holy Ghost came upon them, then they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

Oh, brother, that's back to the beginning. That's exactly. That's the open door that was set right here. Geographically it's right, the evening Lights, and every Scripture in the Bible leads right to it.

PERFECT.STRENGTH_  JEFF.IN  V-8 N-1  SUNDAY_  61-1119

Now, to you Catholic people here, that's what remission of sin is. You say that the church has power to remit sins, how did the church remit sins? God... Jesus did tell the church, "Whosoever's sins you remit, to them they're remitted. Whosoever's you retain, to them they're retained." How did they remit the first, the sins in the early church? They called them to repentance, and they baptized them in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins, not under a confession booth; no, indeed. But they repented before God in their hearts when they were standing there, and they believed. "And as many was bap--believed was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, and they was filled with the Holy Ghost." Amen. You love Him? Now, let us stand.

SPOKEN.WORD.ORIGINAL.SEED_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-2  SUNDAY_  62-0318E

86-3    Now, this old mother harlot (I'm going back to her a minute), she claims power to forgive sins, but you're not judged by your claims; you're not known by your claims. You're known by your works. How could she forgive sin? Look at her. When Jesus did the same thing, they... Said, "Condemn Me; show Me where I disbelieve the Word."

She claims power to forgive sins, but that comes only by the Word. That's right. God only can forgive sins. Is that right? Didn't those Pharisees say that? What was the mind--the matter with the blind bunch of hypocrites. Why? Because they didn't see that was the Word standing with them. He is the Word. Glory to God. That's the reason He could forgive sins. He was God. He was the Word manifested.

SPOKEN.WORD.ORIGINAL.SEED_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-2  SUNDAY_  62-0318E

111-3    And the Holy Spirit bears record of the predestinated gift that the church claims she has. What? By watering the Word, punctuating the Word with a "Amen."

When It said, "Repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ."

"Amen." When It says these other things. "Amen." That's it: "Amen" to everything. See? It punctuates the Word. And God by--predestinated the gift to come to remit sins, but it was given to the Spirit-filled Word body, 'cause the Word can only forgive sins, because the Word is God.

SPOKEN.WORD.ORIGINAL.SEED_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-2  SUNDAY_  62-0318E

How true the Pharisees was. I mentioned this morning we'd get to this. Now I've took up my time. But the--the Pharisees said, "This man forgives sins. We know he's a blasphemer. Only God can forgive sins, and this man's forgiving sins," not knowing that that was the Word. The Word forgives sins, 'cause It's God. And when you become not your own... God knows--knowed and foreknew by foreknowledge who would take this gift and who would use it in the right way. Those who have it are vindicated by the Word of God with the rest of the Word and Spirit. That clear?

THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-5  SUNDAY_  60-0925

23-1    Father, how did the world ever get off on a tantrum like they have? Why not believe the simple Gospel? And they even bring in for that to substitute false names, false baptisms, false Holy Spirit baptisms, shaking hands with ministers, using the titles of Father, Son, Holy Ghost which is never in the Scriptures, a document made by Roman men, not a Christian teaching nowhere in the Bible. Remission of sins cannot be remitted through titles, but through the Name of Jesus Christ.

Now, Father, we know it's very unpopular. Your ways has always been that way; but let men and women this morning come to that day, that day at Calvary, where Jesus despising that day, that shame to be stripped off, to be hacked to pieces, to be spit on, and made fun of by the whole world, by the church, by the people who should've loved Him; and yet in all of that, He opened not His mouth and went and died for those people that were making fun of Him.

WILL.I.FIND.FAITH.WHEN.I.RETURN_  LA.CA  TUESDAY_  51-0508

E-32    After the days of that, came along Jesus. He was God's Ensign. And He was lifted up. He ascended on high and give gifts back to men. And men received the baptism of the Holy Spirit to be made deity himself.

Now, that didn't set very good. But that's according to the Word. A man or a woman that's borned of the Spirit of God is a part of God. Amen. You are sons of God and daughters of God. Didn't Jesus say, "Isn't it written in your Scriptures, your laws, that you're gods." Not to forgive sins now, but you're sons and daughters of God, limited to your faith.
