SERPENT'S.SEED_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-4  SUNDAY_  58-0928E

And as I said it in--in the teaching this morning, each one of those church ages on up to that--to that Thessalonica church age, the fifteen hundred years of dark ages, there was not one time but what He said, "You still have My name." And on this other side, they wasn't in Christ anymore that come out in a denominational name: Catholic, Luther, Wesley, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, on down. But just before the closing of the age He said, "I've set before you an open door." See? And that's the age that we believe we are in right now, the open door age, between the last going out of the Laodicean church.

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

130    Now, let's just read it, and I'll catch it word by word just the way He brings it. See, "Behold..." Let's see:

... no man shutteth;...

... set before thee an open door,...

It's on the other side.

I know Thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it:...

"A open door," what was it? It was the revelation of the supreme Deity of Jesus Christ, not being a second person of a trinity, but being God Himself made flesh and dwelling among us. And the revelation...

Now, if you notice, just in a minute, let's just read just a little bit farther.

... shut it:... and has a little strength,... and has not denied my name.

The first time the Name's been spoke of now since back in this age back here, lost its Name; and Luther come out with a name that he was alive and was dead (Is that right?), Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Here comes out the Name of Jesus again in between these two ages here, in between: the open door. Now, it's a revelation what He was, the Deity, the revelations of His Deity.

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

141    Now, we find out that in this great revelation that God gave here to the church in this last days, that God sent and reveals Himself the open Door between the two ages. It wasn't in the--the Laodicean age; neither was it in this other age, the Philadelphian age; but it was in between, the lapover, 'cause the... I'll prove it in just a little farther down, and you'll get it. You see? We'll make it rich, so sure that you can't keep from seeing it, if you just want to see it. See? All right.

Now, the revelation of Himself is where He's built His church. How many knows that to be true now? He built His church upon the revelation of Himself.

HOW.CAN.I.OVERCOME_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-12  SUNDAY_  63-0825M

155    Now, let's take now the 12th verse. Now, this is to the church of--of Philadelphia, in the 12th verse.

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him my name--the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from... God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Watch what the overcomer's promised. See? Now, now Laodicea, that's the last church age; there's going to be some overcomers in there. Watch there. They... Remember each church age, the one preceding it, inherits all that the other ones was offered. Watch up here. Now, here's after they done received all these powers and these new names and everything written that He promised, to eat the hidden manna and all down through. Watch this last church age, Revelation 3:21:

To him that overcometh will I grant to set with me in my throne,... (Amen.)... even as I also overcome, and set down with my Father in his throne.

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

There's a reward for overcomers. Press on, lily. If it's in you, lay aside the mud and everything else, and press towards the top. Yes, sir. "To set with Me on My throne."

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

264    Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God,...

Oh, let's just take it word by word here for a minute. Will you bear with me that long, just a little bit? I know it's hot, and you know it's hot up here too. But let's see.

I'll make a... He that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God,...

Pillar... A pillar, or a foundation. Foundation in the temple of the house, or the house of God. "The temple of my God," or, "the house of my God." It's a pillar, the foundation. These are those that took the Word which they heard in verse 8, and went back to the foundation.

PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

Everything went in at the Door, Jesus. "And he that overcometh will I make him a pillar." In other words, part of the foundation, "What will I give him? I'll put in him the doctrine of the apostles and prophets from the beginning, and give him the revelation." What'd the prophets say about Him? He's Counseller, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, everlasting Father. That's what they said: the prophets, the apostles. "And he that can overcome all this synagogues of Satan, keep hisself free and look straight to the Gate, I'll make him a pillar; I'll put him back in the foundation of My Word in the house of My God." Oh, my. "I'll put him right there in that pillar in the foundation, where they stay right in the Word." Amen. I like that, brother. It's good. I may act funny; I--but I feel good. All right.

315-4 PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.8

Now He is not only giving crowns but He says that these in the bride will be made pillars in the temple of God. But what is the temple of God? Jesus spoke of His body as being the temple. It was. It was the temple of God. But now that we are His body, the true church is the temple of God by the Holy Ghost within us. Now He is going to make the overcomer a pillar in that temple. But what is a pillar? A pillar is actually a part of the foundation for it holds up the superstructure. Praise God, that puts the overcomer right in with the apostles and prophets, for it says in Ephesians 2:19-22, "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone; In Whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In Whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." Yes, that verse 22 says that we are builded together with them. Everything went through the DOOR (Jesus) and is a part of that body or temple. Now when God puts a man in the temple as a pillar and makes him a part of that foundation group what is He doing? He is giving him the revelation of the Word and of Himself, because that is exactly what the apostles and prophets had. Matthew 16:17. There he is in that Word. There he stands. No one can get him out.

REVELATION.CHAP.FOUR.PT.1_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 551-584  SATURDAY_  60-1231

100    This Door set in heaven, that Door, when he looked up he saw the Lord Jesus. Just watch the following part of it: that Door, the Lord Jesus.

I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice... I heard was... a voice of a trumpet...

Now, the scene is changing. John's been watching Patmos, and now he looks up. Why? He sees something went on on earth here (these church ages), all down the seven church ages, and then after he got through seeing the church ages, after that, after the church ages had ceased, he heard a voice. And he looked up towards heaven and he seen an open Door, and the first voice sounded like a trumpet. All right, scene changed from Patmos to heaven.
