Quotes used in the sermon “Born out of Due Season”

I CORINTHIANS 5:1

1       It is reported commonly [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

I CORINTHIANS 5:2

2    And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

I CORINTHIANS 5:3

3    For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, [concerning] him that hath so done this deed,

I CORINTHIANS 5:4

4    In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

I CORINTHIANS 5:5

5    To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

I CORINTHIANS 5:6

6    Your glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

I CORINTHIANS 5:7

7       Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

I CORINTHIANS 5:8

8    Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.

73-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3

THE MESSENGER

The messenger (angel) to the church of Ephesus was the apostle Paul. That he was the messenger to the first age of the Gentile era cannot be denied. Though to Peter was granted the authority to open the doors to the Gentiles, it was given to Paul to be their apostle and prophet. He was the Prophet-Messenger to the Gentiles. His prophetic office, by which he received the full revelation of the Word for the Gentiles, authenticated him as their apostolic messenger. To this agreed the other apostles at Jerusalem. Galatians 1:12-19, "For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. But when it pleased God, Who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace, To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother." Galatians 2:2, "And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that Gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain." Galatians 2:6-9, "But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me: But contrariwise, when they saw that the Gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the Gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter: (For He That wrought effectually in Peter to the apostle-ship of the circumcision, the Same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision." Romans 11:13, "For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office."

WHEN.THEIR.EYES.WERE.OPENED_  TAMPA.FL  THURSDAY_  64-0416

E-35    Moses couldn't have come with Noah's message. Neither could Jesus come with--with Moses' message. See, it was so, it was 'lotted for each hour. Now, we couldn't come with Luther's message, neither with Wesley, neither with the Pentecostal message. We're plumb beyond that.

You say, "Oh, that's something you..." Well, so did the Catholic church think Luther was making it up. So did Wesley think that, or the Lutheran think that Wesley was making it up. So did the Wesleys think that the Pentecostals made it up. But the thing of it is, look back in the Scriptures; It identifies every age.

HARVEST.TIME_  PHOENIX.AZ  V-18 N-6  SATURDAY_  64-1212

132    Notice closely now. Don't miss this. What if Moses would've come bringing Noah's message? It wouldn't have worked. Couldn't. No. What if Jesus would've come bringing Moses' message? It wouldn't have worked.

What if we come, trying to bring the Methodist message, Baptist message, or the Pentecostal message? It wouldn't work. They were fine; prove that in a minute, by the Word. They were all right in their age. That age is gone. We got to find out what the Scripture says for today. This day, that's what man is to live by for his age.

LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 493-550  SUNDAY_  60-1211E

58    But I'd just like to give my quotation of what this angel will be, what we're looking for. Would it be all right? [Congregation says, "Yes! Amen."--Ed.] Being that we're got a little time, I just wrote a little quotation here what I thought.

The angel of this Laodicean church, to end it up... Now, he will be at the end of the age, like the rest of them, like the Bible. He'll be at the end of the age. Not the first of it, at the end of it, because the angel always comes to rebuke them for what they done. "To the--to the angel of the church of Laodicea write these things." See?

"To the angel of the church of Smyrna write these things." See? Each one is to the angel at the end of the age. Paul, the end of the age. And on down, end of the age. The lapover, end of the age. End of the age, that's what makes it lap. See, "To the angel," speaking what it was. This laps over here, "To the angel," the end of that age. See, picking up right here, made the lap like stair-steps going up, the seven church ages...

DEEP.CALLETH.TO.DEEP_  WASHINGTON.DC  THURSDAY_  54-0624

E-19    I believe the prophet Daniel had saw a vision, and he said he was troubled at his head for many days. Is that right? And Jesus, one time when a woman with enough faith to pull Him around and see who she was, He said, "I perceive that virtue (strength) has gone out of Me."

And people right out there, when... It's not me, Christians, no. I am--I'm just a man, chief of sinners, but one born out of season to you Full Gospel people. That's right. By grace, by God's grace, He lets me call you my brother and sister. And I--I love you.

And I--I'm not here tonight to be seen or heard. I'm not here because of finance, that I... You know that. So I'm here for one thing, because I love Jesus and I love you. And I believe that by coming by this invitation, maybe I could submit myself to Him, and He would do something through me that would make you love Him more, and believe Him and be healed. That's my--the only alternative I have of being here. God bless you.

DEEP.CALLETH.TO.THE.DEEP_  COLUMBIA.SC  SUNDAY_  56-0415

E-71    No doubt in my mind, but what there's more people, millions in the world, more worthy of the task of the--of proclaiming Jesus Christ than I am. That's true. I'm nothing, the least among you. I was born out of season, amongst you full Gospel people. I was a Baptist. And you know more about the Scripture, maybe, than I do, but I know the Author of It real good. And I know that He's here. And I know Who I believe. And I want you to believe me. That's why I'm here to help you. Mercy...

FIRST.SEAL.THE_  JEFF.IN  MONDAY_  63-0318

127-6  {72}    Then along come the Pentecostal age with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and they cabbaged down on that. Now, there cannot be no more ages. That's all of it; that's the Philadelphia, or the--not--the Laodicea Age. But then the... We found in the studying of the Scripture that the messenger to the age come right at the end of the age every time. Paul come at the end of the age. We find out that Irenaeus come at the end of the age. Martin, end of the age. Luther, the end of the Catholic age; and what?--Wesley, at the end of the Lutheran age; and Pentecost, at the end of the age of sanctification through the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

And at the end of the Pentecostal age we are supposed to receive, according to the Word, as God help me tonight to show you through here, that we are to see--receive a messenger that will take all those loose ends out there and reveal the whole secret of God for the rapturing of the Church.

FIRST.SEAL.THE_  JEFF.IN  MONDAY_  63-0318

126-3  {61}    Now, notice: But it's to be revealed when the Lamb leaves His intercessory place from the Father. (Now, that's Revelation 5). Now, He takes the Book of Seals, the Book of Seals or a Book sealed with Seals, breaks them and shows them (look) at the end of the age now, after the intercessory is over; the church ages has done finished up. He come in the first age, the Ephesian Age, revealed, sent the messenger. Notice what happened as we go along.

Here's the plan of it: The first thing happens, there is a--a--an announcement in the heavens first. What happened? A Seal is opened. What is that? A mystery is unfolded. See? And when a mystery unfolds, then a trumpet sounds. It declares a war. Or a plague falls, and a church age opened. See? What is the war part? The angel of the Church catches the mystery of God, not fully yet revealed, but when he does, he catches this mystery of God, and then he goes forth to the people (after the mystery has been given to him), goes forth to the people. What does he do out there? He begins to proclaim that message, and what does it start? A war, a spiritual war.

SEVENTY.WEEKS.OF.DANIEL_  JEFF.IN  DA 89-141  SUNDAY_  61-0806

Along come Wesley after that with his age. We see exactly what Wesley's age... What was it called? Philadelphian, the greatest age--age of love we've ever had, the Philadelphian age. Was right... In John Wesley's time... When he went out, in come Pentecost, and that was lukewarm. Then we go back and find out what kind of a Message would come to the Pentecostals at the end... And remember, each one's come at the end of the age. Saint Paul come at the end; the rest of them come down at the end, Saint Irenaeus and all the rest of them. The other one's age carried over to the other one, lapped over, and he taken it up and went on to the next age with it. See?

  PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 373-423  SATURDAY_  60-1210

40    Now, if we notice the salute to this church, as we're going to start now on the 7th verse, the messenger of Philadelphia. The true church in the... The true church in the professing church, it was a true church in the professing.

... to the angel of the church of Philadelphia write;...

I've called your attention to the lapping over, each one, now. Now, you'll get here, the angel... If you'll watch the way he brought in the age of the Methodist age lapping on, and run over into a little bit of the Philadelphian--or to the Laodicean, Pentecostal age. Then tomorrow night, the Pentecostal messenger comes back to rebuke these for falling, just as this age rebuked them from falling back here in Sardis, the Lutheran age, the lapover.

COUNTDOWN_  JEFF.IN  V-11 N-3  SUNDAY_  62-0909M

76    But now, something else has happened. We got a astronaut now. John Glenn was our first astronaut. And we find out that that's so far above the airplane, airplane can only go as far as there's pressure and so forth. But this is by an atomic power, a greater power that presses him so much higher than an airplane, an airplane even--even isn't in it. That's right. He's been able to do that. All right. Now, we got an astronaut, natural age.

And remember, the messenger comes at the end of the former message always. We've proved that there. Now, we're on the astronaut line. Amen and amen. God has...

EVENING.MESSENGER_  MESA.AZ  V-8 N-5  WEDNESDAY_  63-0116

81    This is repeated each time through the Bible. We find that in the sacred Scriptures all the way through, that just at the ending of the old age and the new one coming in, that age fades out and a new age comes in, God sends the messenger.

And as always--always, every time that a messenger comes, it's always a call back to the Word: never fails. Remember, this is the complete revelation of Jesus Christ; there cannot be nothing added to It or taken from It. It's the complete revelation of Jesus Christ. And the only way that we can ever be sure... If anything rises among us that's contrary to this revelation, then it's wrong. See? It's back to the Word, and always calling back.

QA.ON.THE.SEALS_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  63-0324M

464-4  {52}    You see, each one of those ages only taken a dip into the Holy Spirit. Justification is a work of the Holy Spirit; sanctification is a work of the Holy Spirit, but the baptism is the Holy Spirit.

That's the reason it took a prophetic prophet to come down, no messenger to the age, 'cause the Holy Ghost came Himself in His fullness of the baptism. But at the end of the age, as it always ends upon the others, we find there then, the messenger sent; and all these scruples and things are to be placed in their places (See?), like that. Then the rapture comes for the Church.

But as many is writing all these different things: the sun turning to darkness, the moon... They put that way back there in the Christian age. They just failed to see them three questions was asked our Lord there (See?), when He answered them.

TRYING.TO.DO.GOD.A.SERVICE_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-8  SUNDAY_  65-0718M

38    Now, we find that God had a way of doing things, but David, just being blessed of God like he had to become king, he just thought that he would just do something for God anyhow. And he never went about it in the right way.

We notice, God reveals His Word in His own predestinated season. Now, how could Martin Luther have knowed about the Message today? How could the Presbyterians... How could Martin--or the Catholic church know Martin Luther's message? How could John Wesley have knowed Luther's message? How could Wesley have knowed the Pentecostal message? Or how could the Pentecostals know this Message? See? He reveals It in His seasons, because It is a Seed; and as It grows and matures He reveals Himself.

WORKS.IS.FAITH.EXPRESSED_  SHREVEPORT.LA  V-7 N-1  FRIDAY_  65-1126

312    Now, let us pray. Dear God, Who was manifested in the flesh in the Person of Jesus Christ, that raised up from the dead the third day, according to the Scriptures, and ascended on high, and sent the disciples out to disciple all the world, and said, "These signs shall follow them that believe."...

God, to the Pentecostal church of this day, the restoration of the gifts; may, Lord, those men, maybe some of them present here, some of them hearing the tape around the world, may they realize that this is the calling out of the Bride, not a Pentecostal message. The Pentecostal message was to restore the gifts back in the church. But this is a calling forth of the Bride, another message that was to come just before Sodom was to be burned. Let them understand, dear God. Faith, I believe this, because It's revealed by Your Spirit through the Word of God and has been vindicated and made manifest to the whole world. Certainly, Lord, in the minority, always your groups are that way. But You said, "Fear not, little flock; it's your Father's good will to give you the Kingdom."
