I don't know what the Second Seal is no more than nothing, but I'd got some old contexts of something that I'd spoke on several years ago and wrote it down, and I'd gathered this context--context... And Dr. Smith, many great outstanding teachers that I--I'd gathered, and all of them believed that, so I'd wrote it down. And I was fixing to say, "Well, now I'll study it from that standpoint." And there about twelve o'clock in the day the Holy Spirit just swept right down into the room, and the whole thing just opened up to me, and there it was...?... of this--of this First Seal being opened.

E-44 Now, if teaching the Bible, if fundamental actions is all God requires, He's duty-bound to anybody who'll do it; but you're called by election, my brethren. God knows His Church and vindicates His Church with signs and wonders. Watch it go on though. Here come Jesus; here come the Pharisees just as fundamental as they could be, same vine coming out of Genesis through Cain, through the children of Israel. All started in Genesis, all Genesis to mean all up into the New Testament.
Here's the Pharisees, just as fundamental as they could be upon the doctrine. They believed in Jehovah, offered their sacrifices. Here come Jesus, absolutely a Believer, and fundamental too, but God vindicated Him with signs and wonders. That's right. God proved that this was His Church, for Jesus went forth preaching, and healing the sick, and seeing visions, and prophesying. And these set cold and stiff fundamentally in their church. There's your two vines. Watch they're growing on.

That's the way the modern Christian worships today: "I go to church. I help the preachers. I pay my tithing. I--I--I... If they got any social party, I--I--I--put my part on it. And if the--if they need a missionary offering, I--I help in it." That's good. But that's not what God requires.
He's got to hear the sound of death. Bless God, what God wants today, is you to die, die to the things of the world and yourself, hear a scream, "Lord, take me as I am." That's what God wants. He wants that sound of death, that death rattle of old man Adam, that's dying, that He might come in and take His place, and rule you, and be your Lord. Oh, what a time that we are living.

Cain built hisself an altar, and made a sacrifice, and said, "Here it is. I'll worship you. I believe you. There's my sacrifice. There's my altar, take it or leave it." That's the man today, the religious man. Esau the same way. And the church the same way. "I've done this. I've done this. I've done this." It ain't what you done, it's what He done. Give Him your heart and follow Him.
