Before I close this subject, I know there is a question in your minds. You will want to know if I believe in the doctrine of pre-existence. I don't believe in that Mormon doctrine of the pre-existence of souls any more than I believe in reincarnation or the transmigration of souls. Be careful here and see this. It is not the person that comes predestinated eternally from God, IT IS THE WORD, OR SEED. That is it. Way back there, too far back for the human mind to grasp, the Eternal God with eternal thoughts, thought and decreed, "JACOB HAVE I LOVED, BUT ESAU HAVE I HATED, (Romans 9:13) AND NEITHER WAS BORN, AND NEITHER HAD DONE GOOD OR EVIL." See, it was the THOUGHT, and then that thought became expressed, and God bought back Jacob, because Jacob alone was SEED. Jacob, alone had the seed; that is why he had respect to the birthright and covenant of God. If you are true seed, you will hear that Word; the Spirit will baptize you into the body of Christ, filling you and empowering you, and you will receive the Word for your day and age. See how clear the true evidence becomes when the Word is revealed to you? Again, note, Jesus was the Royal Seed. He lived in a human body. When the Spirit called to Him (the Word-Manifested Thought), He went to Jordan and was there baptized in water. Upon obeying the Word, the Holy Spirit came upon Him and the voice said, "This is My beloved Son, hear ye Him." The voice did not say, "This has become My Son," Jesus WAS the Son. The Holy Ghost positioned Him as that Son before them all. Then having been filled thus (and the same pattern holds at Pentecost and ever after), He went in demonstrated power, receiving the full revelation of God and from God, for that day.

15 And how that, how it could come from that perfect, pure, elected, holy, consecrated father or mother. So to base it, that God calls by election... It must be. No matter how good your father and mother was, how nice they was, how much Christians your father and mother was, it still lays to you as an individual, your standing before God.
This lesson teaches that, that they, both the children, there was even by the elected and called of God, father and mother, a virgin woman and a holy man, who finally was come down to be, even through his seed came Jesus Christ. He was borned as one from the dead. He was tested, his father before him; and he was promised through this seed of Isaac, that the whole world would be saved. And out of a man like that, and his blood so pure that God would not even let the Philistine even touch the mother, after Abraham had give her over to him... God plagued his house, and said, "You're as good as one dead," holding that bloodstream pure. And that Rebekah, a righteous, holy, God-sent and God-called mother, and from that holy seed came forth a renegade and a believer. See, so it lays within God's callings, God's election.

E-8 The world today is being gripped by two great forces, two great religious forces that is soon coming to a head or a showdown. It's well represented in our Scripture reading tonight, of the two sons of Isaac, Esau and Jacob. And when they represent both these forces, and they both come from the same father and same mother. The holy one that was foreordained of God, Isaac, and was told by God to his father twenty-five years before he was born he'd have this child, by a separated and consecrated mother Rebekah, a virgin. And these two sons was in the same womb. They came to the world fussing and fighting, at war with each other. And they've been at war with each other ever since and will be till the end time. And the world is seriously gripped tonight in these forces.
Now, the remarks that I have to say, and some Scriptures I have written here, and so forth, I want every one to know that when sometimes I refer to a condition of church, or a denominational, or something, many times my brethren mistake me when I say that. I'm not referring to Spirit filled men who stand as shepherds and feed the flock of God, that's ordained by the Holy Ghost to do so. I'm talking about carnal believers, who try to take the place of these men.

Now, when you're reborn, you don't get a new spirit. You get a new nature of that spirit. It's the same spirit, but a new nature of it. You take two men, stand them together, both look alike; and one of them is a sinner, and one of them is a Christian. One man say, "I got a spirit the same as you have." See? But one of them is a different, his soul, his nature's different. He's been changed.

You had the same messy birth that anybody else had. Let me tell you: you're nothing anyhow to begin with. And then, if--the only way you'll ever get out of that condition is to be reborn by the Spirit of God, and It does something to you that makes your head in above the eagles, 'cause you're reborn. And God's going to ask you, "Why, didn't you receive it? What's the matter? What was the cause?"

90 Now, we find out that they wanted to start and get into a form of godliness.
Now, I could stop right here and say something: believe I will, Did you notice that every revival... Now, minister brethren, you check this. Every revival produces twins, just as Jacob and Rebekah produced twins: Esau and Jacob. I mean Isaac instead of--Isaac and Rebekah, instead of Jacob. Isaac and Rebekah produced twins. Their father was holy; the mother was holy; but they had two boys born: Esau and Jacob.

Now, look, John 3:14, we understand what it means if you want to read it.
... as Moses lifted up the brass serpent in the wilderness,... so must the Son of man be lifted up:
See? Now, if Moses lifted up the brass serpent, for the same cause Christ was lifted up, now what is it? Moses lifted up the brass serpent so that the people that was perishing might have water for life. And look, Jesus... (Oh, God.) Jesus is the Word of God. Now, we're going to hammer that down this afternoon (See?), prove that.

And when He raised up the Son of God on Easter morning, and sent forth the Holy Spirit, it was to quicken also that seed of Eternal Life, that He foreknew before the foundation of the world, that would be here. He knew this microphone would act like this this evening. He knew that you'd have the attitude you've got. He's infinite. You can't imagine it with your mind; you've just got to accept it. But let me say this one thing: that same God stands here this afternoon in His beauty.

24 Eve tried to hybrid the Word. In the beginning God told her, "The day you eat thereof, that day you die." She tried to breed it in with knowledge that Satan give her. And when she did, she lost the whole human race right there to the devil, when she tried to mix God's unadulterated Word with knowledge. It doesn't come from the knowledge of the world. It comes by the power of the Holy Spirit. "Not by power, by might, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord." That's how God does it. God's Word is a seed of Eternal Life.
If you try to hybreed it, what will you do? You'll kill yourself with it. It will not work. It will not mix, no more than oil or water ever mixed. It will not do it.
