RUTH 3:1
1 ¶ Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee?
RUTH 3:2
2 And now [is] not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.
RUTH 3:3
3 Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: [but] make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.
RUTH 3:4
4 And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.
RUTH 3:5
5 And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.
RUTH 3:6
6 ¶ And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her.
RUTH 3:7
7 And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down.
RUTH 3:8
8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.
RUTH 3:9
9 And he said, Who [art] thou? And she answered, I [am] Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou [art] a near kinsman.
RUTH 3:10
10 And he said, Blessed [be] thou of the LORD, my daughter: [for] thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.
RUTH 3:11
11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou [art] a virtuous woman.
RUTH 3:12
12 And now it is true that I [am thy] near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.
RUTH 3:13
13 Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, [that] if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, [as] the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.
154-3 SMYRNAEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.4
Before I close this subject, I know there is a question in your minds. You will want to know if I believe in the doctrine of pre-existence. I don't believe in that Mormon doctrine of the pre-existence of souls any more than I believe in reincarnation or the transmigration of souls. Be careful here and see this. It is not the person that comes predestinated eternally from God, IT IS THE WORD, OR SEED.
That is it. Way back there, too far back for the human mind to grasp, the Eternal God with eternal thoughts, thought and decreed, "JACOB HAVE I LOVED, BUT ESAU HAVE I HATED, (Romans 9:13) AND NEITHER WAS BORN, AND NEITHER HAD DONE GOOD OR EVIL." See, it was the THOUGHT, and then that thought became expressed, and God bought back Jacob, because Jacob alone was SEED. Jacob, alone had the seed; that is why he had respect to the birthright and covenant of God.
If you are true seed, you will hear that Word; the Spirit will baptize you into the body of Christ, filling you and empowering you, and you will receive the Word for your day and age. See how clear the true evidence becomes when the Word is revealed to you? Again, note, Jesus was the Royal Seed. He lived in a human body. When the Spirit called to Him (the Word-Manifested Thought),
He went to Jordan and was there baptized in water. Upon obeying the Word, the Holy Spirit came upon Him and the voice said, "This is My beloved Son, hear ye Him." The voice did not say, "This has become My Son," Jesus WAS the Son. The Holy Ghost positioned Him as that Son before them all. Then having been filled thus (and the same pattern holds at Pentecost and ever after), He went in demonstrated power, receiving the full revelation of God and from God, for that day.
QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS_ JEFF.IN COD SUNDAY_ 64-0823M
945-Q-243 243. Dear, Brother Branham, will all the sons and daughters of true, borned again believers be saved?
No, brother; no, they sure won't. See, as I--as I copied David duPlessis on this remark, "God don't have grandchildren (See?), just sons and daughters." See, they'll have to be born just exactly like their father and mother was born of the Spirit. See? That's what makes a man a new person, is because he's born again, reborn.
His first birth brings him a natural man on earth; his second birth brings him a spiritual man of heaven. See? It changes him, his soul, not his outward conscience, his outward being, his senses; he still feels, and smell, taste, and hear; but his inward parts, his desires, what motivates him, has been changed to God. See?
GOD'S.WAY.MADE.FOR.US_ JEFF.IN V-25 N-3 52-0900
21 There's two ways a man can go: and that's his way or God's way, and that's the right way or the wrong way. And your way is always the wrong way, and God's way is the right way. And you can't be in your own way and in God's way at the same time, so you got to get out of your own way so God can have His way in you. That's right. God makes a provided way.
Man has always wanted to make his own way. In the garden of Eden, God made a man so he didn't have to shift for nothing. God made him perfect, but man wanted his own way. He wanted to tamper. He wanted to find out. And then as soon as he fell... We've went through that this week, in the studies of the Scripture. He made himself a religion. He didn't wait for God to make him one. He made one hisself, but he found out that his religion, his covering, wouldn't work. That's always been man. He wants his own way. But God had a way. So man made fig leaves and put them over him, him and his wife, but when he come down to face God, he found out that wouldn't work.
And I tell you, friends, there's been a many a man, and is tonight, that's coming down to the end of the road, will find out that that little shallow religion that you're holding onto won't work. Nothing short of being borned again will work. Jesus said, "Except a man be born of water and Spirit, he will in no wise enter into the Kingdom." No wise, no matter if he's Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, whatever he is, he will not enter in until he's born of water and Spirit.
:Born: means he's "changed." He has to die before he can be born. So you got to die to yourself, be reborn again in Christ Jesus. That's right.
CRUELTY.OF.SIN_ JEFF.IN V-25 N-4 FRIDAY_ 53-0403
55 Made him out of the dust of the earth, now, not in His Own image. He had already made the man. Then He breathed into him the breath of life, and he became a living soul. So the soul of man is the nature of the spirit.
Now, when you're reborn, you don't get a new spirit. You get a new nature of that spirit. It's the same spirit, but a new nature of it.
You take two men, stand them together, both look alike; and one of them is a sinner, and one of them is a Christian. One man say, "I got a spirit the same as you have." See? But one of them is a different, his soul, his nature's different. He's been changed.
WHY_ PHOENIX.AZ WEDNESDAY_ 60-0309
E-28 A person who will get a grammar school education, stick their hat on the side their head, and put a fifty dollar coat around it, and walk out here thinking you're something, remember, you was born just like anybody else was born. You had the same messy birth that anybody else had. Let me tell you: you're nothing anyhow to begin with.
And then, if--the only way you'll ever get out of that condition is to be reborn by the Spirit of God, and It does something to you that makes your head in above the eagles, 'cause you're reborn.
And God's going to ask you, "Why, didn't you receive it? What's the matter? What was the cause?"
CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-13 SUNDAY_ 60-1113
29-1 Now, to you that says it's wrong for you to be represented by Adam as a sinner, what about through representation we have salvation also? You can no more save yourself, than you could take your bootstraps and jump over the moon with it. You can no more... You're born in sin; you're a renegade to start with: everyone of us. And we could not help ourselves. And how we ever going to be saved?
One come to represent us: Jesus. He came to represent us before God as sons and daughters of God. And He sent His Holy Spirit, now that He's brooding over the place, trying to bring us back to birth, to be--die to ourselves and be reborn again to be sons and daughters of God, to take God at His Word, to believe God's Word.
YOU.MUST.BE.BORN.AGAIN_ JEFF.IN V-11 N-5 SUNDAY_ 61-1231M
145 You know, it's... I was thinking, read in the life of John the Baptist the other day, what he said, what he called them, "You generation of vipers." Why? He was raised in the wilderness. See, he knowed what they was. Stomp your foot and they take for cover. "You generation of vipers." Also, "The axe is laid to the root of the tree." Tree, vipers, axes, he talked on what he knowed. That's the way you learn God, by what you know. You see a pig and a lamb, there's no nothing at all. You can't make... You might wash that little old pig up and do everything you want to, he's still a pig.
He's got to be reborn before he can be a lamb.
GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY_ BAKF.CA V-22 N-6 THURSDAY_ 64-0206E
32 You have to die. You have to die before you can be reborn. Any seed has to die before it's regenerated again. Unless it dies, it abides alone. A man's got to die to his own thinking. He's got to die to the thinking of anything but God's Word, and come His way. That's God's ground. We don't meet Him on our thoughts. We meet Him on what He said do. That's God's provided way for us. People dodge it; they don't want it. But it's true just the same. It'll... It produces death, and you have to die, die to your thinking.
"Well, I know the Bible says it, but I can't understand it." Then stay there till God reveals it. That's right. It's got... That's the new birth.
