E-30 And how the people today who's lost and undone without Christ, how we can rejoice and praise God that the expansion was met right when God sent Jesus Christ to the earth and He died at Calvary to bridge the way for sinful men and women to meet their Redeemer and their Maker. And none other is this Bridge but Almighty God Himself. His Word is Him, Himself. And He laid His own Life down that we could walk over Him into glory. One end of the bridge was nothing else but Emmanuel, "God with us." At the other end of the bridge is the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ Who stands in the power and glory of the Father. Amen. The connection is right: His Word.
Every Old Testament prophecy pointed straight to Calvary. Every New Testament prophecy points back to the finished work at Calvary. And why would we here in the last days, try to point off to something else? It wouldn't be right. It'd be wrong.

E-31 If a man'd raise up, say, "Yeah, I got power to heal." He's wrong. If a man raised up and said, "This oil's Divine." Wrong. The blood coming out of a person as it--it's been said in many places of these things taking place, that's wrong. There's not a thing that any man, or any woman, or anybody else, can do towards your salvation or your healing, but point you to the cross where the power of God crucified Jesus Christ there. And He was raised up the third day for our justification. And there was the great supreme price paid, that "He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we were healed." Where? At the expansion, the great tower in the middle of the river, this great gulf that reaches from this earth to glory. Christ is that tower.

E-32 Did you notice, He couldn't die on earth and He couldn't die in heaven, so He was the Bridge between. He died between heavens and earth. The very best material that God could put, He spoke through the prophet and said, "It will be in there." He reserved a Seed. "Thy Seed shall bruise the serpents head." And He did it. Amen. He did it.
And the same God that said that, promised He'd send Jesus Christ the second time for those who wait for His coming and love His coming. The same God that said that, said that He would heal our sicknesses if we would believe Him, through the--the atonement that was made there in the middle of the river." Amen. You believe that? Sure. He was the One Who paid the price. He was the One Who's done all these things for us.

E-34 And the mayor broke the... And after he broke the way, hundreds of others followed him. Loads of people, three or four great big electric trains chugged along on each side, not a doubt in their minds. And all behind there come tens of thousands of automobiles and walking pedestrians, and all, going across the bridge.
And someday when life is all over, as we break them brittle threads, and we see the Lord Jesus Christ coming in His power and glory... At the other side when North and South Sydney was joined together by one expansion... And when Jesus died at Calvary it spanned a expansion that joined God and man together, that men are still the sons and daughters of God is in man because Jesus Christ spanned the way. That's my confidence in His Word, how He did it.

JESUS.AROSE_ CHICAGO.IL THURSDAY_ 56-0405
E-6 As well stated, predestination looks back to foreknowledge, and foreknowledge looks on to destiny. See? And God in the beginning, could see all things the way it would happen. Therefore, He could tell, this will be this way, and that'll be that way, and this will be this way, and that that way, because He... By foreknowledge He wasn't willing that the left side would be wrong, that this would be... He didn't want that to happen. But being God, He knew it would happen that way. So therefore, He could foretell what would be. And He knew the end from the beginning. That wonderful? And to think that every borned again child of God tonight, has that privilege and assurance to know that God knoweth His own. See? That's right. God knoweth His own.
Last night preaching on Jacob's ladder, and the Lord willing one night this week, I want to speak on "The Expansion of Time," so, or "Expanding the Time," rather. And how that in the heavens God had His, the ladder hooked to His throne, and had it hooked unto earth in His Son Christ Jesus, and put us in between it. There's no way of getting away. That's all. He's just got. And then, besides, to be sure that we have a nice comfortable trip...

1115-256 And remember, Isaac had left the tent and was standing out in the field meditating in the late afternoon (Amen.) when he saw Rebekah coming... And she'd never saw him and he'd never saw her; but it was love at the first sight. She fell in love with him and he with her, and she was even veiled. Amen. Oh, my.
And look, when she seen him, her heart was so full of joy. She didn't know who she was going to marry, but by faith. Amen. And--and--and remember, Jesus will leave the Kingdom, and we'll not meet Him in glory; we're to meet Him in the air, between heavens and earth, where it's expanded to redeem us. And he met Rebekah in the middle, between her home and his home. Amen. Took her into his home, and married her, and fell heir to everything his father had. Amen. Oh, perfect, just perfect. All right.

7-4 In Isaiah 35 said, "There shall be a highway, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness and the unclean shall not pass over it."
I was talking to one of the deacons this afternoon as we was talking about the bridges spanning across--this new one. I said, "There's many expansions across bodies of water, bayous today," and I said, "but there's one great expansion that reaches from earth to glory. It's called 'The King's Highway.' The unclean shall not pass over it." That's right. It's a road that's built by Christ our Lord--the expansion that is made from this earth to another land, and the unclean doesn't pass over it.
